Reborn: The Unexpected Twist - Chapter 277
Lee Jinhee did not expect herself to come upon a conversation on Jinkyung and Youngmi when she walked through the hallway.
Thinking that she will be able to catch some important piece of information, Jinhee immediately hid behind the wall, and leaning her ear against the wall, she carefully listened in about what it could be.
“Youngmi, you are going really slow with Jinhee! Can’t you just directly kill her or kidnap her!?” Jinkyung vocalised.
From Jinkyung’s voice, Jinhee could see that Jinkyung was quite frustrated, and she took out her phone at that moment in order to record both of their voices in that instant. This could end up being an important piece of information for them.
“Shut up!” Youngmi exclaimed, “How dare someone like you talk to me in such a tone!?”
Kwon Youngmi’s voice held irritation within it. Unable to elicit a satisfying reaction from Jinhee after all that effort she put into beating Jinhee up was starting to annoy her. Hearing Jinkyung use this tones amplified things further.
“I will be doing things on my own. Your job is done, so don’t interfere. Jinhee is my business now,” Youngmi said, “Whether or not I kill her or leave her alive depends on me.”
Lee Jinkyung required for Jinhee to be taken care of quickly for Dowon might decide hand over his part of the shares to Jinhee soon. Jinkyung knew that she had to do something fast to prevent that from happening.
After what had happened, Dowon does not look upon her or her mother in the favorable eye, and as her father’s shares were sold to Dowon, she did not hold any part to the Moonstone Enterprise.
Once Jinhee was out of the picture, Dowon would have no choice other than giving those shares to her for he had no other relative, and she was the most competent one.
“Kwon Youngmi, you better kill Jinhee within a week or else I will be revealing to the media on how you have captured Yejun, Kim Yejun. After knowing that piece of information, Jaehyun will never forgive you,” Jinkyung vocalised.
What Jinkyung had just said did not only manage to evoke a shocked expression from Youngmi, it also did the same to Jinhee.
Jinhee remembered about Yejun being the twin brother to Jaehyun, the one she had fallen in love with, and hearing those words from Jinkyung made her further curious.
Youngmi, on the other hand, had her eyes widened, and her hands were clearly shivering. Panic could be seen within her which made Jinkyung feel joyful about herself. With this piece of information, Jinkyung knew that she had Youngmi under her control.
“There is no such thing as that. Stop assuming nonsense. Although I was close to Yejun Oppa, there is no way I have captured him,” Youngmi said— her voice being louder than she had intended.
“Yejun Oppa is dead, and don’t ruin everything my mentioning him. He was important to Jaehyun Oppa. That’s why, stop with all the nonsense,” Youngmi added.
A scoff left Lee Jinkyung’s mouth as she vocalised, “Kwon Youngmi, I know a lot of stuffs about you, and about Yejun, you are the one who knows the best. I am sure investigating can get the truth out.
That’s why, just kill Jinhee within a week like I ordered you to or else, you very well know what might happen.”
With those words, Jinkyung turned her back on Youngmi and began to walk away. Youngmi was her hand clenched into a tight fist as she thought of what just had happened.
There was no way Youngmi could let the truth come out, and since Jinkyung mentioned about it, she might even have the evidence to it.
Dealing with Jinkyung was too risky at this point for she will try to be curious. Therefore, Kwon Youngmi decided to destroy Jinhee first for good before making Jinkyung her target.
The truth of that year can not come to the surface.

Confused— that was how Jinhee felt as she walked into the classroom as she had Soyeon following after her. Fortunately, Soyeon was not there beside her when that conversation between Youngmi and Jinkyung happened.
Now, that she thought about it, everything made sense. Kwon Youngmi was someone who was completely obsessed with Jaehyun, and Yejoon was clearly Jaehyun’s twin. It seemed right for her to capture him.
A sigh left Jinhee’s mouth when she thought of how to let the truth be known to Jaehyun, and her eyes stared at the phone in her hand, which had recorded all the conversation between the two of them.
Stepping into the classroom, Jinhee glanced at Youngmi before going over to her place and sitting down on her chair.
Seeing that Taehyun was not on the seat beside her, Jinhee wondered on about where he possibly could be when she received a sudden message on her phone.
Turning on her phone, she noticed that it was a message from Taehyun, and clicking on the message, she read the contents of the message silently.
‘Jinhee-ah, I would not be able to accompany you today. Something just came up, and I need to go to the Han Mansion. I am sorry, and hope you don’t mind.’
Wearing a slight smile on her face, Jinhee typed, “It’s alright. It must have been something important for you to leave without telling me about it. Inform me when you will be returning; I might not be home!”
After sending that message to Taehyun, Jinhee decided to text Jaehyun as well about it. Swiping her finger across the screen, Jinhee searched for his name, and when she had found his name, she clicked on it.
Then, she typed, “Jaehyun, do you mind meeting today? I have something important to share with you; It is regarding Yejun.”
After she had send that message to Jaehyun, she almost immediately received a reply from him, and looking at the screen, she silently read, ‘I am free. We can meet up whenever you want.’
