Reborn: The Unexpected Twist - Chapter 280
Holding her shoulder, Kwon Youngmi pushed her back against the wall, and a groan of pain left Jinhee’s mouth as her back touched the wall behind her.
After this, Jinhee was not going to bear through anymore bullying from Youngmi because she was well aware that by now, there was enough evidence collected to get Youngmi off of her back.
The entire week went with Youngmi creating trouble for her at every corner, and this time around, Jinhee knew that it was different, more dangerous.
Even after all of those Youngmi’s actions, she had not gotten Jinhee to bow down to her, and that continued to make her more aggravated. Although Youngmi felt that she had the upper hand, with Jinhee’s expressions, she did not get a sense of winning.
As for Taehyun, it was difficult for Taehyun to agree along with it, and seeing her in pain, regardless of what type, was enough to get him to be emotional.
Nonetheless, she managed to convince. This was only how Jinhee could defeat Youngmi, and she did not want to feel useless about the entire thing. Even though being protected was nice, that did not mean she preferred it always.
Behind Youngmi stood two of her loyal lackeys who held on to Jinhee’s wrist and pinned her to the wall behind. Raising her head, Jinhee stared straight Youngmi.
Youngmi did not like how Jinhee was staring at her, and glaring upon Jinhee, Youngmi had a smirk forming on her face.
Youngmi then said, “Lee Jinhee, I will have you crying in pain today and begging me for mercy. Until or unless that happens, I will not be letting you go.”
“Really? What can you even do to me?” Jinhee said as she had a small smile sitting on her face.
“You will be seeing about that; There are lots of things I can do to you, Jinhee,” Youngmi stated, “I will be demonstrating all of those to you today.”
She yawned and vocalised, “Don’t bore me like before. I am holding a huge amount of hope towards you.”
“Oh! I would not be doing that,” Youngmi voiced out as she reached out into her pocket.
Lee Jinhee’s eyes narrowed when Youngmi took out a pocket knife, and seeing the carving on the knife, unpleasant memories flooded inside of her mind.
She recalled about how Youngmi used the same knife to torture her in her last life and all the scars Youngmi had left on her body. Although those scars were no longer on her body, it was still imprinted in her mind.
It took Jinhee a large amount of courage to not panic when Youngmi took that knife of hers out, and clenching both of her hands together, she was determined to not give Youngmi the satisfaction.
Kwon Youngmi would be able to hurt her. However, Jinhee will not be giving her the chance to break her down or crumble.
As Youngmi flashed the knife in front of Jinhee, Youngmi noticed that the mock in Jinhee’s eyes did not disappear, and this made Youngmi feel more irritated.
She had thought that after showing how she will be using a knife would be enough to make Jinhee beg for mercy. However, seeing how Jinhee was being stubborn, Youngmi did not mind demonstrating the entire thing for her.
Youngmi extended her hand towards Jinhee, and with a slight move of the knife in her hand, Youngmi made a scratch on Jinhee’s cheeks.
Her actions caused a wince to leave Jinhee’s mouth, and a sharp pain went through her cheek. Blood flowed out of the wound made, flowing down her cheek.
Nonetheless, this was not enough to make Jinhee waver, and the smirk on Jinhee’s face became more evident as she vocalized, “Kwon Youngmi, is that all you can do? I had more expectations when it came to you.”
Jinhee’s words aggravated Youngmi to no end, and as Youngmi furrowed her eyebrows, she moved her knife towards Jinhee with the intention of hurting her terribly.
However, before the knife could touch Jinhee, a sound was heard, leading for Youngmi to halt with her actions, and the knife within her hand fell down.
“Kwon Youngmi, what are you doing?”
When Youngmi had selected this place, she was well aware that no teachers or students came to this place for it was the secluded area. Hearing a stern voice shocked her tremendously, and knowing that she has been caught in the act caused a groan to left her mouth.
Although Youngmi felt fear rise within her at that moment, she was determined to not let that show upon her face when she turned her head in order to face the one who disrupted their moment.
Kwon Youngmi’s eyes widened when she saw the Principal, her father’s secretary, and Han Taeho standing altogether. As Han Taeho was present there, there was no way Youngmi was escaping from this.
Lee Jinhee had expected for Taehyun to save from this situation. That is why, seeing Han Taeho, instead of Taehyun, was a big shock for her as well.
Nevertheless, this would make things easier for her. With Han Taeho here, there was no way that evidences could be fabricated, and Youngmi will definitely be getting the punishment she very much deserves.
Jinhee’s eyes then fell on Youngmi, and she could see how fearful she was at this moment. Han Taeho’s power was not something that should be questioned, and although she was the President’s daughter, she will not be protected from the punishment of Taeho is present.
Trying her best to maintain on a smile, Youngmi vocalised, “We were just playing around; I apologise if it did not seem appropriate enough.”
As much as Jinhee wanted to correct the sentence, she decided to let it be. Seeing Youngmi panicking like this was enough for her, and Jinhee knew that Taeho had plans in his mind. It would be rather better for her to not interfere.
Those lackeys of Kwon Youngmi had loosened their grip on Jinhee’s arms, and placing her hand down, Jinhee stretched them in order to relief them from the pain.
