Reborn: The Unexpected Twist - Chapter 290
There was a huge crowd around here, and if a gossip was created, it would reach into the ears of many. Jinkyung knew that she had to do something in front of all these eyes, so that they will be recalling about it for a long period of time.
Surely it could have a bad effect on her reputation, but that would be short-term, and once Taeho leaves Jinhee for her, everything will be settled. Jinkyung had to take the risk now for a stable future.
However, Jinkyung was at a loss of idea on what possible plan she could be carrying out at this moment, and that is when, she glanced towards Taeho.
An idea struck her mind at that moment, and she was aware that she had to carry that out before Jinhee came here. Even though Jinkyung had no idea on why Jinhee was here, she decided upon pushing that fact away for now.
“Lee Jinkyung, you gave created lots of mistakes in the past, and be careful this time around. You can not afford anymore of those,” The voice in her head said.
However, Jinkyung ignored those words, and watching the waiter step towards them, she extended her hand towards his tray to take two glasses of juice.
Taking a step closer to Taeho, Jinkyung held the glass in his direction, and while wearing a soft smile on her face, she asked, “Want a glass?”
Before Taeho could respond, Jinkyung pretended as if she had slipped due to her heels, and a loud gasp left her mouth, attracting couple of eyes beside her.
The juice in her head slightly fell on top of hers and Taeho’s garments. Before she could touch the ground, Taeho placed his hand behind her back in order to secure her.
An embarrassed expression settled on top of Jinkyung’s face as she looked down at the floor, and she said, “I am sorry. I must have tripped.”
Their interaction surprised many. Han Taeho was not the one to randomly catch ladies who fell in their direction, and this was slowly confirming everyone’s doubt of them having a special type of relationship.
Shaking his head, Taeho vocalised, “It is alright. Can you stand up now?”
“Oh! I am sorry. I did not mean to do it,” Jinkyung stated as she immediately stop up from Taeho.
After placing the glasses on top of the nearby table, Jinkyung’s eyes scanned through Taeho’s body, and noticing how the juice had stained a part of his suit, Jinkyung widened her eyes.
“I even got some juice on top of your cloth. Oh God! I don’t know what’s wrong with me today, and I am really sorry! Please forgive me,” Jinkyung voiced out as she bowed multiple time towards Taeho.
Shaking his head towards her, Taeho said, “It is alright. I can simply wash it off.”
“I will have to go to the washroom as well. I got some of the drink on my dress as well,” Jinkyung vocalised as she looked down on her gown.
“Once again, I am sorry.” Jinkyung bowed again.

Seeing both Jinkyung and Taeho walked back into the room, a small smile formed into Jinhee’s face, and all the gossips gave her an idea on where the two of them have gone two.
With Jinkyung’s wrinkled clothing, her swollen lips, and Taeho’s dishevelled clothing, Jinhee had an idea about what impression she tried to give to the public, and Jinkyung’s desperation made Jinhee almost laugh at how funny she found the situation.
In her last life, it was Taeho, who was the desperate one behind the two. However, the tables were turned this time around, and Jinkyung is the one who is trying to do everything she can to keep Taeho by her side.
Lee Jinhee noticed how Jinkyung and Taeho stopped to chat with a couple, and Jinhee’s eyes clearly noticed how it was Jinkyung, who was doing most of the chatting.
She had an inkling that Jinkyung did that on purpose to stop Taeho from coming towards her, and her childish behavior made Jinhee shake her head.
The entire party was pretty much boring, and the only part, which kept her interested, was regarding Jinkyung. Now that Jinkyung was trying to avoid her, things did not seem to be that fun for Jinhee anymore.
A sigh left Jinhee’s mouth, and she decided to eat another one of those cakes. A part of her wanted Taeho to be present here, so that she would not be bored this much. Things were truly bland to him without being here.
Jinhee was tempted to approach Jaehyun and annoy Jinkyung off further. Nonetheless, seeing how Jaehyun was engrossed into chatting with couple of people of his age, Jinhee decided to not interfere into it.
Taking out her phone, Jinhee switched it on, and as she swiped across the screen, her eyes fell on Taehyun’s number. Staring at the number, she contemplated on giving it a call for couple of seconds.
After letting out a sigh, she decided about giving him a call. There was nothing left for her to do at this moment, and Jinhee had an idea that without Jinhee interfering, Jinkyung will be bringing trouble on to herself.
Clicking on the number, Jinhee watched the outgoing call. However, after a few rings, the call was directed to the voice mail and was not picked up by Taehyun.
This caused creases to appear between Jinhee’s eyebrows, and she attempted to call him again. Furrowing her eyebrows, Jinhee wondered on about what Taehyun could possibly be doing.
Once again, her call was directed to the voice mail, and letting out a sigh, she put her phone back. There was no use in trying to call Taehyun at this moment; It seemed that he was occupied with something.
Tapping her foot on the ground, Jinhee continued staring at Taeho and Jinkyung in front of her for she had nothing else to do at this very moment.
