Reborn: The Unexpected Twist - Chapter 293
Reading the expression on Lee Jinhee’s face, Taehyun moved closer to Jinhee and took a seat beside her. Then, extending his hand towards her, he placed his palm on top of her hand.
“Do whatever you want to do. If you go over to stay with them, I am pretty sure that the Min Family will be more than happy. I am sure you much they dote on you,” Taehyun said, “I really want you to be somewhere you will be happy at.”
Lee Jinhee extended her hands towards Taehyun and pulled him into a tight hug. Jinhee had no idea on how Taehyun was able to make her feel secure, but he truly had the ability to do so.
“Wouldn’t that be considered too rude? I really don’t want to barge into their personal space,” Jinhee vocalized.
“They would not think that way, trust me, Jinhee-ah,” Taehyun voiced out, “And you are always welcomed to stay with me if you are uncomfortable.”
“As much as I don’t want to admit it, I guess staying away from you will be making me lonely,” Jinhee said.
As her face began to slowly heat up, she hid her face at the nape of Taehyun’s neck, and at the contact, Taehyun felt a chill go down his back.
Extending his hand towards her, Taehyun patted the back of Jinhee’s back, and he had a small smile forming on his face. Lee Jinhee’s words at that that moment made his heart speed up.
He questioned, “Is that so?”
“Stop teasing me or else I will be beating you up for real, Han Taehyun,” Jinhee threatened as she bit her lips.
A low chuckle left Taehyun’s mouth while he said, “I was not planning to tease you because I will be missing you more. Jinhee-ah, I am more obsessed with you than you are with me.”
Hearing those words from Taehyun made Jinhee pull away from him, and staring at him with stern eyes, Jinhee asked, “What makes you say that? What makes you so sure that you are more obsessed with me?”
Jinhee then continued, “You might be the one fell in love first, but it feels as if I am more obsessed with you, Taehyun. You are my source of life; I am that obsessed with you. Jinhee would not be able to survive without Taehyun.
You are really strange to make me this addicted to you, and I am scared to see what will happen to me once you leave me. If that were to happen, I wonder on about whether or not I will—”
Before Jinhee could continue further, she felt a pair of lips on top of hers, quietening her down, and Jinhee did not push away those lips of Taehyun’s. Each touch of Taehyun was making her more obsessed with him.
At times, she was afraid. If Han Taehyun ever left her, she was scared of what might happen to her. What she had with Han Taehyun was much deeper than the thing she had with Kim Jaehyun.
If that was amount of pain she had to go through because of Jaehyun, she wondered about the amount of ache she will have to go through once Taehyun leaves her. Everything will unbearable to her.
Although Jinhee wanted to remain optimistic, pessimistic thoughts enter her mind now and then, and at this moment, Taehyun was her biggest weakness.
Pulling away from the kiss, Taehyun brought his hand to her forehead and flicked it softly, causing Jinhee to wince at the pain.
“You are really a fool for letting such type of ideas come inside your mind. Jinhee-ah, why do you think I put in so much effort to go after you? Is it so that I can leave you later on?” Taehyun raised one of his eyebrows.
“Of course that is not the case. Jinhee-ah, if I could, I would have imprisoned you beside me for entire life. So, stop being this insecure, Jinhee. I am not going anywhere, Jinhee-ah, and even if you push me away, that will not be happening,” Taehyun voiced out.
He then added, “I prefer the mean side of yours over this side. Just keep on smiling brightly and remove other useless thoughts out of your mind. They are not needed.”
The tears that formed on the corner of Jinhee’s eyes without her knowledge was wiped away by Han Taehyun, and extending his hand towards her, he pushed back the bangs from the top of her forehead.
“Geez! Han Taehyun, there you go with those words of yours. You don’t even know how badly you affect me with those words. You should just stop with it,” Jinhee vocalised as she punched lightly on Taehyun’s chest.
“Tch! You crybaby, Jinhee-ah, you really cry at the smallest of the things. What am I supposed to do with at this point? I guess I will have to take care of my crybaby for life,” Han Taehyun said while letting out a sigh.
Scrunching up her nose towards Han Taehyun, Jinhee voiced out, “Don’t make it sound as if it is something bad! Do you know how many people will be killing to take your position? So, be grateful about it.”
Han Taehyun laughed, and arching his eyebrows, he asked, “Why didn’t you let those person do the job then?”
Jinhee scoffed, and folding her hands across her chest, she voiced out, “Who do you think I am? Do you think it is possible for everyone to have the honour of serving me? Not everyone can be as lucky as you.”
Moving his hand to touch her cheeks, Han Taehyun pinched it, causing a sharp pain to go through Jinhee’s cheeks, and slapping his hand away, Jinhee glared at Han Taehyun.
“Hey! Stop it!” Lee Jinhee exclaimed.
“You are really charming when you brag, Jinhee-ah. You should not let out these charms of yours when we are outside or else you will be getting punished by me,” Taehyun stated.
“What rubbish are you uttering now.” A small blush formed on Jinhee’s face.
