Reborn: The Unexpected Twist - Chapter 310
When Lee Jinhee had exited Han Taehyun’s room, she wanted some time to herself and peace. Her mind was too troubled now, and she required some fresh air to calm herself completely down.
She felt as if her heart was violently squeezed by something in her chest, and it felt as if her lungs were being squished, making it difficult for her to breath.
Regardless of how much she wanted to hold back those years of hers back, it was not possible for her to accomplish that. They stung at her eyes, fighting to escape her eyes.
Lee Jinhee found herself being a fish our of the water, trying her best to fight for oxygen, and knowing that she would not be able to bear going out at this moment, she sat down on the closest seat outside of Taehyun’s room.
Before Han Taehyun’s room was few bodyguards standing, and seeing that they were professional and did not stare at Jinhee, she found herself being grateful towards them.
Lee Jinhee was very much aware of how much of a mess she appeared at that moment, and her cheeks were completely red from all that tears she had shed up until this point.
Her throat hurt from all that crying, and sitting on the chair, Jinhee leaned back to have her body contact with the wall. Her body trembled, and she hoped herself to become strong against this.
At that moment, she heard footsteps in her direction. Nonetheless, Lee Jinhee did not bother to raise her head to look at that direction. In that instant, that was not something Lee Jinhee found herself caring about.
That is when Lee Jinhee felt a sharp contact against her cheek, and pain spread through her cheeks. Nonetheless, she found herself being unaffected by the physical pain.
Looking towards the direction of the hand that had slapped her, Jinhee saw that Jinkyung was standing before her, and she did not find herself being angry at Jinkyung for that slap. In Jinhee’s mind, she had very much deserved that slap.
After everyone being sweet to her after the accident despite of her not deserving all that, the slap from Jinkyung felt very much refreshing. She wanted to someone to beat herself up more.
Maybe the physical pain would be able to cause her to move on from all the ache she felt deep inside her chest. It was suffocating her at this point, and she desired for someone to torture her physically to the point that she will be able to move on from all of that.
Without a warning, Lee Jinkyung planted her hand against Jinhee’s other cheek, and she could see the anger present in Jinkyung’s eyes. That is when something snapped inside Jinhee’s mind.
‘No, Jinhee, you deserve to be beaten up but not by Jinkyung. She doesn’t care about Taeho or Taehyun; she is merely mad about the opportunity she had lost. You can not let yourself be beaten up by someone like her.’
Before Lee Jinkyung could slap her again, Jinhee raised her hand to grip Jinkyung’s hand, preventing her from moving her hand further, and imprint of Jinkyung’s hand was on both of Jinhee’s cheeks.
“Stop it, Lee Jinkyung,” Jinhee enunciated, “I am not in mood for all of this nonsense, and if you try to do this, I will be calling the staffs.”
Lee Jinkyung scoffed and vocalised, “Heol! Jinhee, I must applaud at you. I can’t believe that you actually have the courage to say all of that after what you have caused. Hope you know that you are the reason Taeho Oppa is lying on that bed.
If it was not for you, he would not have reached such a state. Only you are to be the one blamed for this entirely, and you better imprint inside that thick mind of yours. Taeho Oppa would be happily laughing with me if it was not for you ruining all of this.”
“I know; I know all of that. This is all because of me. I should have been more careful. If I had paid more attention to my surroundings, he would not be on that bed, but you are in no position to scold me.
Are you here because you genuinely worry about me? Even though I am the one to be blamed for this entirely, at least I care for him, but Lee Jinkyung, you are extremely shameless for showing up at here with your intentions. If you want to start up a fight get away from here. This is not the place for such things!”
“Lee Jinhee, I hope you are aware of how those words doesn’t suit your mouth. You care for him? What will he do with that care of yours? Will that be waking him up? You deserve to be punished, Lee Jinhee.
Out of us two, whom do you think Taeho Oppa would like to see when he wakes up? Definitely me. Don’t misunderstand the reason behind him doing all of that for you. He merely protected you because he was guilty on the entire thing,” Jinkyung vocalised.
“I am in no mood to deal with your nonsense, and if that is all, I will be taking my leave,” Jinhee stated, “Don’t try to cause any commotion at here. Taeho needs to recover, and don’t try to prevent that from happening.”
As Lee Jinhee was about to leave from there, Jinkyung held her shoulder and pulled her back. The sudden motion caused Jinhee to feel dizzy for a second before she managed to compose herself.
She was not completely healed from that fall, and after all that stress that had fallen on to her after she had gained consciousness, it was normal for her to feel dizzy occasionally.
“Shut up, Bitch! Shut up! How dare you use this tone on me! You are the one responsible for all that had happened to Taeho Oppa, and keep that inside your mind!” Jinkyung exclaimed before pushing Jinhee.
Lee Jinhee’s body was quite weak at that moment, and she was not able to compose herself from that force. Jinhee’s body fell behind, causing her to come in contact with the ground, and wince left her mouth.
