Reborn: The Unexpected Twist - Chapter 311
As Lee Jinhee sat up on the floor, she saw that Jinkyung was glaring at her, and if it was not for the fact that her body as weak at this moment, she did not believe that she would have fallen from that push.
Looking around her, Jinhee tried to look for someone who would help her. There was no use in asking those bodyguards for help for their main concentration was on guarding Han Taehyun, and they will be not be shifting their attention to Jinhee.
Lee Jinhee could understand that by seeing how they did not care about how Jinkyung pushed her at that moment. Jinhee did not blame them as well; they were merely doing their job.
Fighting with Lee Jinkyung in this state would not be in her favour, and Jinhee should not try to provoke her anymore. She did not wish to attain any kind of serious injuries from Jinkyung.
Pressing her palms on top of the ground, Lee Jinhee recalled about something at that moment, and she recalled Han Taeho’s words on how Jinkyung was slightly weird.
It was not possible for Jinkyung to get Taeho to fall for her or have the idea to approach Youngmi on her own, and according to Taeho, he had found no clue on any external source helping her achieve this. There was only explanation to this, and Lee Jinhee wanted to test that out.
“I have been wondering for a while, Jinkyung, something,” Jinhee voiced out, “You were really strange, cunning and knowledgeable at times for your age, and I am sure you were confused on how I have become smart all of a sudden, right?”
As creases appeared between both of Jinkyung’s eyebrows, showing her confusion, Jinkyung voiced out, “What do you mean, Lee Jinhee?”
“Nice to meet you again, Jinkyung. Do you recall about how you thought that a ghost chased you in that night in the Han Mansion?” Jinhee voiced out, raising one of her eyebrows.
She then added, “Guess what, Jinkyung. You were not the only one to be given a second chance.”
Those words from Lee Jinhee caused Jinkyung to widen her eyes, and a gasp left Jinkyung’s mouth. Lee Jinkyung clearly understood what Jinhee was trying to imply and took a step back.
The voice inside Jinkyung’s mind vocalised, “How is that possible? How could she have given another chance as well!? This explains all the change! Ugh! This is definitely not fair!”
The voice inside Lee Jinkyung’s mind was herself from her past life. When Lee Jinkyung from the past found herself being given another chance inside Jinkyung’s mind, she particularly did not find herself happy with it, and couple of times she tried to take control over the body, but that was not possible.
In the end, she had given up and tried her best to manipulate Jinkyung. In her opinion, this Jinkyung was too pathetic. Nonetheless, controlling Jinkyung was not difficult.
But recently, Lee Jinkyung had been making some foolish decisions, and it is easily seen how Jinkyung is provoked very much quickly. That was only when the Jinkyung from past found it hard to control the present Jinkyung.
“What? Why? Why were you given another chance? This is not fair, Lee Jinhee. Nevermind. That doesn’t matter. I will be destroying you in this life of yours as well. You died once in a defiled state, and this time, I will be making sure to kill you,” Jinkyung voiced out as she made her steps towards Jinhee.
Extending her hands towards Jinhee, Jinkyung grabbed on to Jinhee’s neck and pressed tightly on to it. Applying pressure on to it, Jinkyung tried to choke Jinhee.
Holding Jinkyung’s wrist, Jinhee tried to move her away from her, and that’s when, her eyes fell on the CCTV camera on one side of the hospital room. This would work as an evidence against Jinkyung.
“You will be dead, Jinhee. Lee Jinhee, I will make sure to kill you. You would not be given another chance after I end you this time,” Jinkyung vocalised.
It was becoming difficult for Lee Jinhee to breath at this moment, and she voiced out, “L-Let go of me, Jinkyung. Stop it. Ah!”
At that moment, Lee Jinhee heard footsteps behind her, and seeing the nurse behind Lee Jinhee, Jinkyung immediately let go of Jinhee’s neck.
Holding her neck, Jinhee fell down on the ground, and she let out couple of coughs.
“Hey! What are you trying to do!?” The Nurse exclaimed.
In that moment, Lee Jinhee held her face by the scarf on her neck in order to hide her face and made run from that place. This might get bad for her if the nurse managed to know her identity.
The Nurse moved towards Lee Jinhee, and staring down at the crouching girl, she questioned, “Are you alright, Dear?”
After letting out a series of coughs, Jinhee managed to speak out, “A-Ah! Yes! Thank you very much for your help. Things might have gotten serious if it was not for you intervening.”
“Don’t thank me, Dear. I don’t like bullies either,” the Nurse voiced out.

Walking beside the garden outside of the hospital, a small smile formed on Lee Jinhee’s mouth as she recalled on how Han Taehyun once went around with her on the wheelchair. Recalling about the embarrassment she felt in that moment made a chuckle escape her throat.
All the memories with Han Taehyun she had spent in this garden was coming back to her, and tears welled up in her eyes. She really missed those memories with Han Taehyun and wanted for another chance to relive them.
“Please, Taehyun, wake up. Please open your eyes. I really want,” she mumbled, “I would not be able to live without you. Please, open your eyes. You’re my hope in this entire dark world. Don’t abandon me. I beg of you to please wake up. How do you expect me to carry on with my life without you?”
