Reborn: The Unexpected Twist - Chapter 316
The mention of Han Taehyun death was enough to cause her to lose her control over her anger. After she had been hearing all the time on how Taehyun showed to progress, Haeun’s words were enough to aggravate her.
While she leaned her back against the headboard, Jinhee noticed that Min Hyunbin was seated beside her on the chair, and it surprised her. She did not expect for him to be beside her.
“Hyunbin,” she enunciated, “What had happened?”
“What else? You fought with that Haeun, and when the teacher came, you lost your consciousness. The principal viewed the CCTV recording, and based on that, you will be suspended from school for two weeks,” Hyunbin vocalised.
Suspension did not sound bad to Jinhee. She wanted to take a break from the school, and this seemed like the best way to do so. With her current state of mind, it would be for her best it she took break from school.
Hyunbin then added, “Wow! I did not know that you were the one to be provoked easily and get into physical fight. I guess you are similar to me in some ways.”
“Why did I faint?” Jinhee questioned.
Although she was aware of the answer to that, she wanted to hear the doctor’s report on it. Looking around, Jinhee could see that she was at the school’s infirmary.
“Due to lack of sleep and food. Lee Jinhee, you really should better about yourself. Did you notice how much weight you have lost over this period of time? They might take more serious against you if you starve yourself,” Hyunbin vocalised.
Jinhee corrected, “I am not starving myself; I just don’t feel like eating.”
Rolling his eyes, Hyunbin voiced out, “Is there a difference between the two of them? That is why, from now on, according to dad and mom, I will be in charge of taking care of your meals. Don’t think that I am voluntarily doing this. It is merely because of how mom and dad forced me to do this.”
As Min Hyunbin folded his arms across his chest, Lee Jinhee let out a sigh, and looking down, she said, “I am sorry that you have to be in trouble because of me. You don’t have to babysit me; I will take care of myself. Just tell Dad and Mom to not worry about me; I am fine.”
Seeing how the girl before him was continuing to lose the spirit she once had, Hyunbin felt despondent. He did not know how to make Jinhee the same as how she was at the beginning. Although that Jinhee was annoying, he had preferred her over this one.
“They will beat me up and say how I persuaded you to do so. Now, if you are feeling alright, follow me. We will be going to the restaurant for lunch,” Hyunbin vocalized, “For you, I missed lunch, and now, I am starving.”
“I am sorry, and thank you for it, Min Hyunbin. I will be coming now,” Jinhee voiced out.

While the two of them were in one of the private rooms in the restaurant, Jinhee stared at the food before her, and picking up her chopsticks, she played it with the rice before her.
Seeing the rice made her have no appetite, and she was in no mood to eat it. Over time, hunger was something she had grown to become accustomed to, and it did not affect her that much.
Min Hyunbin’s eyes were on her, and Jinhee was well aware of his persistency on not willing to move them unless or until she had started to eat.
Knowing that Min Hyunbin was hungry as well, Jinhee let out a silent sigh and decided to start eating despite of how difficult it was for her. She could not create more trouble for those around her.
When Lee Jinhee had eaten that rice, she recalled about all those meals Han Taehyun had cooked for her, and once again, tears welled up at the corner of her eyes. If she had known that would have been her last meal with him, she would have treasured it very much.
Lee Jinhee did not let the tears fall down her eyes and tried her best to hold them back. She could not let Min Hyunbin worry about her more, and knowing that all of this will be reported to her parents, Jinhee silently ate the food.
‘You can do it, Jinhee. This is just food. It is not anything difficult. You can not create more trouble for others. Dad and mom has been really tolerant of you over this time, and you can not make them suffer further.’
By repeating those words continuously inside her mind, she stuffed herself with the food before her, and although it was tough for the food to go down her throat, Jinhee managed to do it.
It was evident to Hyunbin how it was difficult for Jinhee to keep on eating. Seeing Jinhee in this state made his mood go down as well, and he did not have any clue on how to bring her back to her old self. He was extremely confused.
“Drink some water or you will choke,” he voiced out as he forwarded the glass of water before his to Jinhee.
Absent-mindedly, Jinhee accepted that glass of water from him and drank down its content. After that, she placed the glass before him.
She then vocalised, “I have eaten enough; I don’t think I will be able to eat more.”
Curving his lips to form a small smirk, Hyunbin voiced out, “It’s funny how you think that I will be allowing you to leave from here without eating the entire meal. Lee Jinhee, you will be eating everything, and then, you are allowed to eat food. Without finishing the entire thing, you are not allowed to meet Han Taehyun.”
Hearing those words of Min Hyunbin made Jinhee’s eyes widen, she voiced out, “Y-You can’t do that.”
