Reborn: The Unexpected Twist - Chapter 318
Confronting Lee Jinkyung was not something Jinhee was looking forward to as she walked through the hallway of the hospital.
During this entire time, Jinhee tried to avoid Jinkyung as much as possible, afraid that she will be losing control over her anger and do something she will be regretting.
Lee Jinhee did not have the best control over her anger, and earlier, she had shouted at Hyunbin for trying to control what she ate.
Although he had completely postive intentions towards her and was simply worried, Jinhee was not in her right mind, and she felt as if she was close to losing her sanity.
Sooner or later, at this rate, they might end up taking her to a psychologist, and although Jinhee would not want to admit it, maybe she required one with her current state.
As Jinhee was about to walk past the girl before her, Jinkyung had other thoughts inside her mind and before Lee Jinhee would go away, Jinkyung grabbed her wrist to pull away.
After all those meals, Jinhee found her body slowly gaining energy, and even though she did not have as much strength as before, Jinhee believed that physically strong enough to defend herself against Jinkyung.
Moving back to stand in front of Jinhee, she voiced out, “Lee Jinkyung, are you really bored? Could it be that in that school of yours there is nothing fun to do? Hold on! There is something I have been curious on.
Is there an air conditioning system in that school of yours? I have heard that there are broken walls in that school of yours, and there is money to fix that wall.”
Those words of Jinhee were enough to provoke Jinkyung, and in Jinhee’s opinion, Jinkyung deserved all of that for trying to create trouble for her. It was not as if she had told Jinkyung to grip her hand and stop her for absolutely no reason.
“Shut up, Lee Jinhee. I am surprised that they have not kicked you out of the hospital after your action. Stop with your fake acting! I am sure that you are only here because you’re afraid of losing you position and having the Han Family file a lawsuit against you,” Jinkyung vocalised.
“Do you know what I find funny at this moment, Jinkyung? It is when I thought that you were smarter than me. Honestly, do you even believe that Han family would be able to have a lawsuit against me due to this reason?
Not everyone is fake like you, Lee Jinkyung. You are simply obsessed with someone who doesn’t care for you. Honestly, Jinkyung, do you even have someone who sincerely cares for you or at least someone you truly care about?
You are totally heartless. I really pity you for that. You don’t know the feeling of having a heart or warmth. No wonder you are jealous of me. Because unlike you, I have experienced that warmth.”
Lee Jinhee’s words had managed to annoy Jinkyung. In Jinkyung’s opinion, it was supposed to be her annoying Jinhee, not the other way around. Now seeing that Jinhee was the one with the upper hand, Jinkyung found the entire matter being completely unfair.
“Shut up, Bitch!” Jinkyung exclaimed as she extended her fist towards Jinhee with the intention of punching the girl before her.
Seeing that coming, Jinhee’s eyes narrowed at Jinkyung, and she held Jinkyung’s fist. Jinhee felt guilty for finding this pleasurable when Taehyun was lying down on that bed.
Applying force to Jinkyung’s fist, Jinhee pushed her back. Those high heels of Jinkyung caused her to easily lose her stability because of that, and falling back, Jinkyung’s body came in contact with ground.
“Ouch!” Jinkyung exclaimed.
Moving over to Lee Jinkyung, Jinhee’s eyes fell on Jinkyung’s hand on the ground, and she had anger towards Jinkyung in that moment. Moving her leg towards Jinkyung, Jinhee stepped on her hand and applied pressure on her hand.
Lee Jinhee held anger towards Jinkyung from both of her lives, and Jinhee did not think she will be ever satisfied. Jinkyung had done a lot of harm to her in her previous life, and Jinhee’s thirst for revenge was not something that could be easily quenched.
Kwon Youngmi did not suffer enough this life, and for all that Youngmi had done to her, Jinhee wanted for Youngmi to go through the worst. This gave Jinhee the motivation to keep on living for a longer period of time.
Then, she would be able to make Youngmi go through the same. She did not care whether or not Youngmi had the memories to her past life; she was aware that Youngmi was as much as vicious in this life of hers as she was in her past life.
Without Jinhee realizing, the strength she put on Jinkyung’s hand increased, and a wince left her mouth. Tears formed at the corner of Jinkyung’s hand at the pain, and as much Jinkyung attempted to pull her hand away from Jinhee, she did not succeed in doing so.
Turning towards Jinkyung, Jinhee flashed her a wide smile and vocalised, “Lee Jinkyung, this is not the last of it. We will be meeting again, and for everything you had done to me in either of my lives, I will be getting my payback. Karma exists, and you will not be able to escape from it.”
“Get off of my hand please! This hurts!” Jinkyung exclaimed.
While exerting more force on Jinkyung’s hand, Jinhee finally removed her foot off of Jinkyung’s hand, and finding her hand sore, Jinkyung raised it up.
Taking it closer to her eyes, Jinkyung saw that a mark formed on her hand, and her eyes widened. A gasp left her mouth at the state her hand was at in this moment.
“Lee Jinhee, you are a monster! How could you do this? No matter how hard you try, Jinhee, you would not be able to destroy me! You will always be pathetic! Do you recall about all those times you have begged me?” Jinkyung vocalised as mock was present within her tone, and scoffs left her mouth.
