Reborn To Love - Chapter 273 Yi Qiansi's Story (7)
Chapter 273 Yi Qiansi’s Story (7) When he saw Yi Qiansi, he grinned, “Happy birthday!”
Yi Qiansi frowned slightly, shocked himself that today was his birthday! He had lost track of time inside this dark palace, where there was never any sunlight or even moonlight.
It would be a miracle if he would still remember what day it was after three years.
“I have a present for you,” Snow said cheerfully. “I will give it to you after you finish your training for today.”
After breakfast, Yi Qiansi walked down the dungeons, where the training took place.
When he arrived, he saw all the other boys training. When they saw Yi Qiansi, all of them glared at him angrily before continuing training.
A day after he arrived, Yi Qiansi found out that he wasn’t the only one here.
It turns out that Snow actually found kids he took favor in from all over the world, bringing them here to his “training” camp.
He would tell all of them they would be his heir, but in reality, it was whoever came out on top in the training.
However, Snow particularly had a liking in Yi Qiansi, for whatever reason that Snow claimed to be that he knew Yi Qiansi’s parents.
When the other kids all lived in small bunk beds in the dungeons, he had his own room. When all the other kids ate the same oatmeal for every meal that tasted like chalkboard, he ate actual food.
And, he was able to eat with Snow. . . But that wasn’t necessarily a good thing. One year ago, Snow had gotten mad and threw a knife at him, which he was lucky and fast enough to duck to avoid the knife from hitting his head.
As the special one, of course the other kids did not like him.
It was clear that once Yi Qiansi came, they were all back-ups for him. Of course, Yi Qiansi also did end up coming on top.
He was the best at combat, the best shooter when it came to guns and knives, and number 1 in all of the tests.
However, this wasn’t because he was the smartest or the strongest, it was because of his special treatment. He had private lessons with the “best” teachers and had “extra” class time, meaning he had to stay up until midnight most days with Snow to practice.
In the dungeons, there was absolutely no sunlight, and it was all lit up with candles. There was also no noise except the sounds of the trainers screaming at the kids, and the kids’ helpless screams of pain.
It was also much colder underground, and all the kids wore the same black shirt and pants, which were definitely not enough for the temperature.
There was a shooting test today, and the kids lined up for the test with Yi Qiansi in the back.
He casually picked up the gun and pointed it at the fake human target. With only a quick glance, he shot and the bullet went straight through the center of the head.
Bang! The next shot went straight through the heart.
Bang! The final shot went straight for the neck, blasting the head off of the human.
All of the trainers immediately began applauding, and the other kids were forced to clap fakely as well for their “role model”.
Yi Qiansi didn’t care as he tossed the gun back to the trainer and left to go practice hand to hand combat.
Yi Qiansi ate lunch in the dungeons with the other kids, and he also ate the oatmeal. All the other kids were slim as sticks because of malnutrition, and he was the only one with a tall and healthy body. Well, not so healthy if you took account of the scars and bruises.
He sat alone at the table to the far corner and quickly finished his meal before going back to training.
“Look. That try-hard is trying hard again!” One boy said and the other ones around him began laughing. However, the trainers quickly silenced them.
—
After a long day of training, Yi Qiansi left the dungeons alone and back to the ground level, where there still was no sunlight.
Yi Qiansi thought back and could not remember the last time he felt the sun’s warmth against his skin.
When he reached the dining room to eat dinner, there was no food on the table.
However, Snow was standing near the table with a sinister smile on his face, “You’re here! Come with me. Let me go show you your birthday present.”
Yi Qiansi did not have a good feeling about this “birthday present” as he followed Snow down to the dungeons, but not the first level where the training took place.
Instead, it was the second level below ground, where there were cells and rooms where beatings took place. Yi Qiansi has visited here twice. . . with Snow.
He gulped as they walked out and he followed Snow down the many aisles and twists and turns, stopping in front of the cell at the very end of the hallway.
“Look who I brought here for you!”
Yi Qiansi looked up and into the cell, but because it was super dark and the person inside was facing the other direction, he couldn’t tell who it was.
Snow also noticed this problem, and his horrible temper immediately arrived as he turned around, marching back in the direction they came from, ordering the worker of the second floor, “Bring him up to the first floor dungeon!”
The worker nodded and walked over to the cell, unlocking the door and walking over to the person laying inside the cell.
Yi Qiansi followed Snow back to the first level of the dungeon, where all of the kids were still training.
When they arrived, the kids and trainers stopped and greeted Snow. All of the Kids had to be respectful to Snow even though everyone hated him and internally wanted to kill him.
They had the same feelings towards the boy walking next to Snow. Why did he get to have such good treatment in comparison to them?
What they all did not know was that Yi Qiansi suffered much more than them.
He received beatings from not the trainers, but Snow, who was much more vicious and merciless than the trainers. And, when the other boys trained until 11 P.M., Yi Qiansi had to stay up until way after midnight training with Snow.
Snow and Yi Qiansi stopped in the center of the room, and Snow randomly pointed to a boy and said, “Come over.”
The boy looked over at his trainer, who pushed him over to Snow. The boy was scared Snow was going to ask him to fight Yi Qiansi, because Snow had done that several times before.
In front of Snow, Yi Qiansi was much more aggressive than the other practice combats.
The little boy stood in front of Snow with his head down.
Snow grinned, “Bring him over.”
The worker from the second dungeon level brought over another little boy who had been in the cell Snow had shown Yi Qiansi.
This time, the boy was conscious with his face up.
At once, Yi Qiansi recognized the face he had not seen in so long.
Gu Yechen!
