Reborn: Ulquiorra In DxD World - Chapter 32
“Hais… Too much work.” Sona sighed as she just finished doing her paper works. She and Tsubaki were the only one in the students council room. Saji and the others were on the school trip in tokyo. Only Tsubaki was here to help her.
She looked at Tsubaki who was beside her and said, “Tsubaki can you pour me some tea?”
“Yes, president” Tsubaki nodded and went to pour her a cup of tea.
“Next is I will start preparing the needs to build my own academy.” Sona murmured. She will graduate this year and after that she will build her own academy. An academy where low class devil can join and participate the rating game that’s her dream. Lots of high class devils laughed at her when she stated her dreams but no matter what she will achieve her dreams. She got the approval of the Satans to build and it was just the first step. She need a lot of planning.
She looked outside the window and saw Ulquiorra was standing in the rooftop looking down at the town. She remembered what Ulquiorra said.
…
“How did you meet Lord Aizen?” Sona asked Ulquiorra.
“I will start it at the beginning…” Ulquiorra said. He slowly plucked out his eyes making Sona shut her eyes.
She then heard his voice while seeing a visual in her mind. She a humanoid white creature with two white horns protruding on the side of its head. There’s a pair of black wings behind his back.
I was born in a bottom of a pit where no light shone.
As if pressed together by darkness uncertain of what to become…
Born under those dark, dark sendiments.
‘This?! This is Ulquiorra?’ She thought as she looked at the white creature with a hole in it’s ċhėst.
In those black forms, with their eyes shining and teeth baring, they were certainly eating something.
And then…
There was nothing to me…
But my eyes.
Sona saw that Ulquiorra was surrounded by a group of black hollows. She looked at his eyes and felt that the tear lines… The next thing she saw was Ulquiorra killing those hollow.
I felt nothing.
No, rather
It was possible that what I felt was “void”, yet,
I could hear nothing
I could smell nothing
I could feel nothing as I touch
I could not rest
I had no companion
Just walking, alone
Sona saw a scene of Ulquiorra walking in the vast desert alone. She couldn’t describe what she’s feeling right now. The scene where Ulquiorra was walking alone nonstop in a desert with never ending night searching for something is heartbreaking.
The things reflected into my eyes have no meaning..
The things that could not be reflected in my eyes do not exist..
When I had arrived at that thought
Sona saw a scene where Ulquiorra was standing in front of a large white tree with a lot of spine.
It was, somewhat, a place of birth for those strange, translucent objects that has dotted this world.
It was the first time my eyes have been captured.
With no color
With no sound
With no scent
Does not interact with anything
Only exists there.
It was the closest existence to the “void” that I ever laid my eyes on.
There was nothing there
Even I had lost my line of vision
And dissolve into the void,
And felt as if everything had disappeared.
Sona then saw Ulquiorra sank his body inside the white tree which broke half of his mask. The scene stay like that for a long time. She didn’t know how much time had passed since Ulquiorra sank his body.
The next thing she saw was there’s a man standing in front of Ulquiorra. The man wearing the clothes of an arrancar and his hair was swept in the back with a strand hanging down on his face. The man was none other than Lord Aizen.
‘So this is Aizen.. ‘ Sona thought as she observed Aizen.
Aizen was saying something to Ulquiorra.
“I will become a god and sit a the vacant throne in the sky. I will create a new world after I ascend to the vacant throne.” Aizen said as he looked at Ulquiorra who was stock at the white tree. “You wandered alone in Hueco Mundo, lamenting your existence. You saw nothing that had any meaning in this world. Then come and follow me maybe you will find it in my new world.”
“So that’s how he become an Espada…” Sona sighed deeply. She felt complicated right now that she knew almost everything about him.
“What’s wrong, President?” Tsubaki asked after pouring a tea to the cup.
“Nothing, I just remember something” Sona shook her head and she continue doing paper work.
…
Ulquiorra was standing in the rooftop of the school looking down at the town.
Happiness
If such a thing called happiness exist in this world, it should be something which resembles the limitless nothingness.
Nihility is having nothing, and having nothing to lose.
If that isn’t “happiness”, then what is?
