Bang’s expression grew even more serious.

“You’re quite interesting.”

However, unlike Bang’s seriousness, Boros instead smiled: “Then just entertain me a bit more. If you survive, once I’ve destroyed this planet, you can join my fleet as a high-ranking combat member.”

“Sorry, I stand with humanity.”

Bang flatly refused.

“Oh, that’s fine.” Boros smiled nonchalantly, then punched at Bang again: “Then go die.”

Bang didn’t speak.

Or rather, he didn’t have the time to speak.

Their current battlefield was inside the spaceship.

The spaceship’s armor was incredibly hard, likely some kind of alien alloy, and considering the spaceship was almost as large as a city, they were probably in its core area. The mecha, having been drilling outside for quite some time, couldn’t get in.

But that wasn’t even the worst part.

If the mecha couldn’t get in, Child Emperor could still call for reinforcements.

But perhaps because they had ventured too deeply, or maybe the spaceship had some kind of signal-blocking device. Child Emperor found that his headset, which was supposed to connect him to the ground, was without a signal, only transmitting a faint crackling noise.

No signal meant no way to relay information or call for reinforcements from the ground.

This really drove Child Emperor to desperation, as he frantically fiddled with some components in his backpack, trying to establish contact with the ground.

And as Child Emperor sweated profusely.

Fang Mo, curious, came over.

“What’s that?”

Seeing the pile of electronic components on the ground, Fang Mo stared: “What are you messing with?”

“We’ve lost contact with the ground!” Child Emperor explained while wiping the sweat from his forehead. “In this situation, if we can’t relay information, it’s not just us in danger—it could be all of humanity…”

“Can you fix it?”

Fang Mo asked.

“How would I know? I’ve never cracked an alien signal-blocking device before.” Child Emperor was as frantic as an ant on a hot pan. “Damn, this must be the control room of the spaceship, we’re too far from the ground, even if we wanted to send someone out forcibly, it’s not possible… Ah! Disaster!”
