Reds Reset - Chapter 159
Link did not have much time left before his third year started. But, he couldn”t care less. Why would he? He has a pretty good excuse for his absence, and Link wouldn”t let it pass.
He broke the emblem, and the Academy failed to appear. If he was questioned or threatened with expulsion for his absence, he could throw this whole thing right back at them.
He told Samuel about his objective so he was sure his family was already informed by him. He insisted on coming as well, but Link barely managed to convince him not to. Using that he was faster as an excuse. This however, got an odd reaction from Samuel, as after hearing it, he thought for a bit and agreed straight away. Although he looked sad when he left.
Link now was heading in a different direction, leaving Gilda City behind. He thought that he had nothing left to do in the Second Continent, but with Ora, something new came up.
Ora”s consciousness was broken, and his new and alluring quest made that his top priority. But of course, something with a reward like that, would not have been that easy.
He unfortunately discovered that the Second Continent was not the only place in which the fragments ended up in.
Link already found one of them, and now he was heading for the second one. Ora knew this Continent like the back of her hands, earning Link a freebie. She knew where the other fragment was located and that was where they were heading at the moment.
Unfortunately for Link, that was the second and last fragment that was in this Continent. He was flying there with all hes got, attempting to grab it before leaving this place.
Unlike with the first one, which was owned by a whole City. The second fragment was located on a giant X mark Ora drew on his Map Tab, in a desolate area. No Cities or Villages were nearby. This reassured Link, as he will not have to steal it from nobody. The last thing he needed was a conflict with a City.
The Map had never been so colored. Ora transferred her knowledge of this place to it, unlocking every detail.
Mountains and hills with numerous trees covered Link”s sight as he made his way towards the X mark. The area was completely empty, not even Magical Beasts were anywhere around. The birds avoided flying over it while the wild life was eerily quiet.
Link landed on top of a small hill, looking over the place. His Psight scanned but nothing of notice came up. He jumped down and started walking towards the spot.
From the image in the map, the area where the X mark was located was surrounded by rocks with a mountain a few meters away.
The sun was starting to depart, as the yellow glow turned into a soothing orange color. Link stood on top of the X, but when he looked around he saw nothing.
“Are you sure it”s here?” Link asked.
[Yes master. 100% sure]
Link opened his Map again, and confirmed that he made no mistakes, so the next thing he did was look down.
“Is there a cave somewhere that leads down?” He thought as he lifted his leg and slammed it into the ground. The dirt easily flew in the air as a pit was created. Link proceeded to do the same while covering his body with Mana, protecting him from getting dirt on his clothing.
2 Hours passed and Link now was in what looked like a Well. He repeated the same action as he stored the dirt inside his Inventory. It made things easier and faster.
“This is going nowhere” Link said “I don”t know how deep it is, this might take longer than needed” He said while flying out of the hole. He opened his Inventory and threw the dirt out to the side, emptying it.
