Regressed Reincarnation: How to Escape a Fantasy World!! - Chapter 80
THE DAY OF DEPARTURE:
ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF ESLAINE NEAR THE NORTH GATE:
Many important people are standing in front of the gate and a few of them are talking while others are just standing there, observing other people talk.
MORPHEUS’ POV:-
Standing in front of the gate, I look at Lucy talking with Robin and Zwain. They seem to talk about something important, but at times they are smiling and laughing, with Lucy hitting Robin mostly. Then my eyes darted to Leilena, who was glaring at other ladies, who were actively and enthusiastically talking with Leraye. A creepy smile forms on Leilena’s face. She looks as if she will kill those ladies later when nobody will see and nobody will know.
Leraye is just smiling and answering those ladies. Though slight annoyance is also visible on his face. His eyes then turn to me for help. Looking at him, I can’t help but chuckle at the situation. I doubt anyone would believe that the Devil Sin of Pride can make that expression. I then simply dart my eyes towards Leilena, at which he understands my gesture and skillfully avoids the girls and moves behind Leilena.
“I am sorry, but I have an appointment with the Pixie Queen. Can you ladies give us some time alone? We have some important things to discuss,” Leraye speaks to those ladies at which a few of them make a mournful face while the other girls had tears in their eyes. Looking at that absurd situation, it became really…really difficult for me to control my laughter. I had to actually look away so as not to laugh at the situation.
“Pffft-Hahahahaha…” I hear a laugh from the other side only to find Corey and Chase laughing like crazy while looking at the ladies, who were making a mournful expression and Leilena a triumphant one.
Then they control themselves before looking at each other only to break into laughter all over again. The ladies, hearing their laughter, were confused and then soon ignored them as they moved back into the city.
Leraye then starts talking and thanking Leilena, at which she just feels embarrassed but still keeps up with the conversation. My eyes then darted to Kaneto, who was standing along with Aria as they both were observing the situation. At last there is Adolphus, whom I see coming from the gate in my direction.
“In this pouch, there is everything you will need in your adventures. If everything sets right, then we shall meet a few months later,” Adolphus speaks to me as he looks at the merry atmosphere around us. A smile comes to his face as he observes people laughing and enjoying the talks.
“All right. That does that, I guess, since there is nothing more to it. Let’s meet later. Also, since I will be asking for your help without any restrictions, you can also ask me for help when you are in a pinch, okay?” I tell him it’s okay to ask for help from me. His expression turns slightly confused, but then a thankful smile forms on his face as he nods. Slight admiration also enters in his eyes as he observes me.
“Is everything done?” I see Zwain approaching me as he asks me if we are ready to go. He will lead us from here onwards. Speaking of which, Karina also left yesterday. Thinking about Albert’s safety n all, I asked(forced) him to go along with her. He was really shocked to know that I had connections with both a Royal Mage and an Elf branch. It wasn’t really necessary to tell him about it, but I thought it would be better to give him some form of confidence in me. The more strong my background will be, the easier it will be for me to convince him or perhaps anyone about my absurd statements.
And of course it worked, as he finally seemed to have some hope for his son’s return.
As for Skapia’s Royal Mage Arlington, I left him with Karina, only after erasing some of his recent memories. It would be better if she would be the one dealing with the issue here. My circuits are already inside his brain so, having a spy will benefit me if I ever need to enter Skapia.
There isn’t anything left to do in this place, I guess.
I then clap twice loudly and everyone moves towards me. Looking at them, I can’t help but feel that it was the right decision to come here at the beginning of our journey. So many fruitful endeavours and experiences. Plus, so many rewards and information. Truly a bliss.
I then nod at Zwain, who then bids farewell to everyone. Queen Aria bows to me and thanks me once again before leaving. Lucy and Leraye pick up their weapons in their hands, a staff and a scythe, respectively.
We then begin our journey to the next destination. According to Zwain, we will first look around the place where Lia was kidnapped and then move towards the Kingdom. Since I found no problem with this situation, I agreed with him.
…
IN A DARK ROOM:
KARINA’S POV:-
After torturing him for a week, he still has answered none of our questions.
‘Tch, this is annoying,’ I look at the Skapia’s Wizard in front of me. He seems to have lost consciousness again. Because of Skapia’s intervention and pressure, we have to gove back Arlington as early as possible now.
‘Sigh…Another failure,’ I mumbled in a very low voice, but someone heard me as he spoke.
“You didn’t fail, young one. Both this and the other situation were beyond you. There was nothing you could have done about it.”
“Yes, your majesty,” I bow to the King of Sol who has arrived in front of me. He seems to observe the Royal Wizard before looking at me.
“You said he is going to arrive in 3 years, right?” He asks me the same question he asked when I passed the message to him the first time.
“Yes, your Majesty,” I answer him with no ounce of annoyance. I will answer the same question as many times as asked if the one who is asking is His Majesty. He then ponders over something as a troubling expression takes over him. After pondering for a few moments, he ends up sighing before muttering something along the lines of ‘I should have expected this’ before chuckling silently.
“All right. So I hear he finally decided on the name of his party, huh? Can you explain to me what you found about it all over again?” I don’t know why he asked the same question all over again, but since he asked, I repeated everything over again,
“Currently, his party’s leader is Kaneto on paper. There are 6 members present in his party. All of them are either monsters or with monstrous potential. Listing each of them one by one,

I present him all the information in brief and give him notes that contain other details regarding the party’s members. He observes the paper and then ponders over something. Honestly, I was pretty scared while searching for the information on Morpheus. Simply because,
‘Should we be really looking into him? What if he doesn’t like it? Will we be able to handle him?’ If it were a few days earlier, then I might have not been so scared, but after searching about Morpehus or more precisely Light, I realised something. The reports does not match.
Light and Morpehus…honestly I can never see those two as one. If not for Corey and Chase, I might have never even in my wildest imagination reached this conclusion. If a person who can do everything he did so precisely and concisely that even our best intelligence collecting force doubts themselves. Then it only points out to the fact that we should be careful of him, and if we add the power level of that person to that of a King at minimum, then we should stay away from that entity as much as possible.
‘I don’t understand. Why is His Majesty so fixated on him? But it’s not like I can ask him about it, can I?’ A wry smile forms on my face as I think about asking His Majesty any questions.
“It isn’t detailed enough, I see, but since we are talking about Morpheus here, it makes sense, I guess. All right, I will leave you to handle the matters regarding Arlington. As for whatever happened in Eslaine, it’s better for you to not mention it again. Although I believe I don’t need to tell you that,” He speaks as he looks at me with serious eyes.
“Yes, Your Majesty.”
“Also, this is the name he chose for his party, right? Amusing…”
“Yes, Your Majesty.” I answer him as I observe the name written at the bottom of the report.
‘Truly a fitting name for their party,’ I couldn’t help but think that way as I look at those bold letters.
[Grim Verdicts]
