Reincarnated As A Saiyan In RWBY - Chapter 186
Shallot was following Winter to Atlas Academy. When he got a notice on his scroll.
[Beacon Under Attack – Emergency To All Hunters And Huntresses]
Shallot saw it and thought about going back. All the scrolls that the students had been capable of receiving a message of emergencies. It was set up through the same system that was used to give the students information about their classes and jobs they take.
“Are you going to head back now?” Winter asked since she did want to show him Atlas academy and was thinking if she could get some tips on training.
She noticed how much stronger Weiss had gotten and she was sure that if she got more experience, she would beat her. She noticed that Weiss was already stronger than her but her planning for combat and skill itself weren’t as good as they could be.
“It’s fine. They said that they can handle it. If it is just some Grimm then we don’t have anything to worry about. What you should be worrying about is the people that have been following and watching us. Well, they have been focusing on you more than me.” Shallot said while shifting his eyes toward an alley.
Winter didn’t think that they were being followed and wondered how good Shallot was. If someone was capable of sneaking around and watching them then they either have a low presence or a professional.
She could think of a couple of people that may want to watch them. Since Ironwood has such a methodical way of dealing with things, crime isn’t high in Mantle.
With the droids walking around all the time and watching out for anything and transmitting the information to the tower means that things don’t escape the sight of Ironwood. This leaves the crime at an all-time low but not nonexistent.
The entire city of Mantle is provided with wifi since Ironwood also needs it to keep connections to the droids and so that they can send the information. If anyone is watching her walking the streets, they may be the few criminal groups they haven’t captured yet.
Winter was trying to think about if the school here is going to be attacked also. The students that went to Vale didn’t come back with them since they were going to be heading back with Ironwood.
“They don’t seem to be moving and doing much right now besides watching us.” Shallot said.
He noticed that the city seemed to be going pretty well. There weren’t really homeless people everywhere in the outskirts. They did seem as if they were only living their life to get by day by day though. It was a little unsettling seeing how a large number of people moved in synchronization down the street in groups.
While they were walking, Shallot noticed that the city had a line that was separating it. There was a chunk that seemed like a section that could raise. Shallot thought that the design was pretty good. The city was designed meticulously that it seemed like it was done by a computer.
When he passed through certain sections of the city he noticed that there were no two of the same shop in the same area. Each is had its own purpose.
“I wanted to get some tips on what you’ve done to help your team grow stronger than the rest,” Winter said while walking next to him.
Shallot was looking at her head.
“Something about my hair?” Winter said while pulling out her scroll to look at her hair.
“Just thought that if the back of your hair was down it would look better.” Shallot said.
Shallot was thinking that Winter was pretty enjoyable to be around. She walked like a soldier but she wasn’t as uptight as Weiss.
Winter was thinking about it and thought that Shallot going back to see what was wrong would be for the best. If it is solved easily then he could just come back and she could finish showing him around the school.
“You should probably head back to Beacon just to make sure that everything is alright. I can give you a tour once the problem there is finished.” Winter said while thinking about setting up some defenses at the school.
Whenever Ironwood wasn’t at the school it was her duty to make sure that everything was going smoothly.
Shallot could see Atlas academy in the distance. It looked pretty clean and it was completely symmetrical. The school’s color was mostly white with a blue trimming to it.
“Your school has good aesthetics.” Shallot complemented seeing the nice style of the building. Just like the rest of the city, it seemed designed to be even all around.
It had four side towers with two being shorter than the two tallest ones. The two pairs were the same size with the tallest two towers on the left side while the two short towers were on the side. Each tower taking a corner position of the academy building.
There was one giant tower in the middle of the building which Shallot thought should be where Ironwood’s office would be.
“I’ll head back then and will come back for that tour when I find out what is going on at Beacon and deal with it.” Shallot said.
“I’ll make sure to tell the school teachers about you for when you come that way you could teach some of the students how to get stronger. It seemed like you avoided the question earlier.” Winter said with a straight face looking at Shallot.
“It’s really simple really. I use my semblance to increase the gravity around everyone so it requires more strength to move. Simple as long as you know how much pressure you need to apply or else you could kill the person.” Shallot explained.
“Could you do the same thing with gravity dust?” Winter asked thinking about if something like gravity dust could do something similar.
Shallot thought about it but haven’t gotten hold of any gravity dust before so he doesn’t know much about it.
“I don’t really know. I haven’t been able to use gravity dust yet so I don’t know all that it could do.” Shallot said.
It was a rare type of dust and the Schnee company didn’t sell a large amount of it.
“I’ll be heading back now. It’ll probably take me 15 minutes at my top speed to get there.” Shallot told Winter while he slowly rose into the air.
“But it took us 6 hours in total to get here? It took two hours to repair the engine and another four to get two the city.” Winter said.
“That’s because your ship is too slow!” Shallot called out before creating a sonic boom flying back toward Beacon academy.
