Reincarnated As God - Chapter 12 The Five Colonies
Laying in the control room on the simple bed, Meng Li relaxed and closed his eyes. It wasn’t at all necessary for what he was about to do, but he wanted to rest his eyes for a bit after all the experiments with the crystals from before. He still occasionally teared up because of some dust which still somehow stubbornly remained in his eye.

[Yes. Please tell me the overview – where do you want them to appear, how many, gender ratio, what memories, etc.]
Meng Li himself didn’t really know why he included this. He did it without thinking, but it wasn’t really important so he decided to simply move on.
Meng Li didn’t really know whether the last part was possible – after all, if a person had such a technique in their brain, why wouldn’t they use it? But to speed up the process, he decided to leave this problem to the system and see how it handled it. After all, he had the fortune of having a smart system which could do many things for him.
[Done.] (Note: It has begun…)
‘That quickly?’ Meng Li couldn’t help but show a surprised expression as he felt a portion of his qi be sucked away. He expected it – he had given the system permission to take his qi directly as long as it wouldn’t drain over 50% of his qi. And in fact, the amount of qi drained… Was extremely small. At least compared to his reserve, which definitely grew from the time he was a Qi Sea Realm cultivator. But still, it shouldn’t have grown by that much…
‘Ooooh… So when I poured in the qi to generate the world the system probably generated the entire planet with it… That might be the case with how much I had to pour to do it.’ Meng Li thought idly. After a few seconds, he remembered. ‘Oh shit, the humans!’
He immediately sunk into his consciousness once more. He used the globe model there to zoom in on one of the arrays – he did it at random, but in the end he chose the island paradise array. As he zoomed in on the array, he took the chance to look at the scenery. When choosing the locations for the arrays, Meng Li not only took care to provide all the basic needs within the barrier, but also took care to choose the most scenic location he could find. The one he chose for the array here was a small valley in between two large mountains, which was blocked on one side by a gigantic wall, stretching hundreds of meters up. It was a strange feature of the land – a small plateau, which seemed to come out of the mountain. In the centre of the valley was a stream – it wasn’t big, merely five meters across and at most a metre deep. It was flowing at a slightly fast pace, with several small waterfalls along the way. The stream originated from the gigantic wall – the spring was a few hundred meters up the wall, and fell down in a majestic waterfall, into a small, but deep lake. The valley was also quite close to the edge of the island – about 3 km of the beach was within the barrier, with enough room to fish. The small stream from the valley joined with a slightly bigger stream and became a river, to ultimately flow to the ocean. The delta of the river was also within the barrier, making it easy to catch freshwater fish.
The 50 people who Meng Li summoned were on a small patch of level land near the lake within the valley. Meng Li had to admit – when he was creating the patch of level ground, he stood for a few seconds in amazement because the sight was just… Too pretty. However, the summoned people didn’t seem to have such a problem – they weren’t even confused about how they got there. After talking for less than a minute, they dispersed and each person started doing something different. They were so fast that Meng Li didn’t even have a chance to eavesdrop. As he paid attention to what the different people were doing, he noticed that each person was doing something productive. A few men went to a nearby forest to grab some sticks – a few other men also went and started gathering stones. Some women also went to the small forest and gathered some rattan – after only a few minutes, they were collectively able to fashion crude hatchets. Equipped with these hatchets, the strongest men once again went to the forest, this time to gather logs. Meng Li had to admit that he was amazed by their productivity. It was like what he was watching weren’t people, but machines, which coordinated perfectly with each other and collectively worked, in order to accomplish a given task with the most effective way.
It was… inhuman. After half an hour, he noticed that they started a fire and started digging foundations for simple houses. When it came night, practically every person except a few came together to sleep near the fire. The few which didn’t, stood on guard, and every two hours, they rotated shifts. Precisely when the sun rose over the mountain, everyone woke up and once again started working. This time, some people, equipped with crude spears, which were essentially sharpened sticks, went hunting. They split, with the smaller team remaining near the stream to use the spears to catch some fish, and the second, larger team, went deeper into the nearby forest. As Meng Li saw that, he was glad that he summoned the arrays – without protection, these mortals would stand no chance against the vicious beasts in a forest. After all, even a beast with only the strength of a 1st level of Qi Gathering would win 10 out of 10 times against even a team of 10 mortals. After all, humans were originally weak creatures, and now that the beasts were many times stronger, they simply stood no chance.
At this point, Meng Li decided to look at the other arrays to see how they were doing. It was all the same – after a day of work, there was a simple campfire, foundations for a house, a makeshift storage space, and some guard posts. Every colony, which Meng Li decided to call them, also sent out hunting squads. In some cases, since the source of water wasn’t large enough to have fish, the entire squad went hunting. There was one incident in where a person was injured – a tiger ambushed the hunting squad, resulting in the injury. Fortunately, the colonists had a superhuman level of coordination, and were able to surround the beast easily once they spotted it. The injured person was carried back, since the wound was quite severe, and placed near the fire. Some of the women, who were previously working on producing weapons and tools moved closer to care for the injured.
Satisfied with their progress, Meng Li decided to rest. After all, he was in the control room, and everything going on out in the world was a thousand times faster – he had to concentrate on the colonies quite hard to be able to see what was going on, otherwise with a single moment of loose concentration, he could miss an entire hours’ worth of happenings.
As he was in the control room, Meng Li decided to train. For now, he decided not to focus on increasing his level – his control over qi was elementary, and his spiritual sense needed some training, too. His abilities were much lower than his cultivation would suggest – after all, under normal circumstances, a person had to cultivate for a long time to get to the Qi Foundation realm, and in the journeys, they would gather experience, exercise control and learn some tricks about how to use their qi, spiritual sense or aura. In Meng Li’s case – he had nothing. He broke through to the Qi Foundation realm by breezing through the Qi Gathering realm and the Qi Sea realm, and enduring a perilous breakthrough. It was quite miraculous that he even managed to breakthrough – his control was at the bare minimum level required and he needed a really big stroke of luck to succeed – which he did in the end do. And even then, it would all be for naught if not for one thing – the control room. It provided the pressure he needed to break through with his gigantic Qi Sea, but at the same time, it also provided him a very strong flow of healing qi, which prevented his bones from cracking immediately and his organs rupturing before he even got to start the breakthrough. All in all, he would not have succeed if it were not for the control room, and the mysterious master who summoned him here. Now someone could argue that without the mysterious master, Meng Li wouldn’t even be there and debating whether he would succeed to break through without that master’s help just didn’t make sense, and it was true, but the thing is – the fact that Meng Li was at the level he was with his abilities was, in fact, a miracle.
Meng Li understood this fact, and thus, wanted to improve his abilities. And now, that the colonies needed time to grow and for ‘real’ humans to appear, the colonies needed time, so Meng Li had nothing to do. So, he wanted to use this time to practice his abilities. He estimated that he had about a month until all the original colonists died, but he wanted the colonies to develop some more until he stopped. He decided to split his practice into parts – he would practice for a week, then take a look at the progress of the colonies, then go back to practice until he was satisfied with the colonies’ progress. That would be when he would stop practicing and… Do something. He didn’t really know what, but that wouldn’t stop him.
