Reincarnated as the Son of Conglomerate - Chapter 198 Strike Back (V)
There was no sound but the rustling of breaths and heartbeats. In the midst of the eerie silence, Vincent stared intensely at the people around him. His eyes gleamed in the darkness, radiating powerful anger.
“Two traitors working together to kill me,” Vincent snorted.
Suddenly, Noah struggled to stand, as if there was an extraordinary force pulling his body down. The same thing happened to his henchmen. They seemed to have a hard time maintaining their ground.
Only one person seemed unaffected.
“You’re not too bad, Zee. It’s a shame you have to die with these losers tonight,” Vincent taunted. “Come on, all of you. I’ll show you the difference between us.”
Zee wasn’t provoked by his taunt. She glanced at Noah, signaling him to initiate the attack.
Noah nodded. “What are you waiting for? Kill that bastard!”
As the command was shouted, several people in black outfits leaped towards Vincent simultaneously.
“Damn idiots,” Vincent muttered.
Snapping his fingers, he altered the gravitational pull. Noah’s henchmen collapsed instantly.
“Argh!”
As they fell to the ground, Vincent snapped his fingers again. They were lifted into the air and their bodies hit the ceiling. He then dropped them back to the floor. He repeated this process until they lost consciousness.
“Ha ha ha ha! Is that all you’ve got?”
Vincent laughed loudly, his voice echoing to provoke his enemies. But unexpectedly, a fireball shot towards him.
Bam!
“Arrrrgh!”
Vincent was pushed back. Half of his body was burned, and he quickly removed his coat. Just when he was recovering from the shock, another elemental attack followed. Wind blades, chunks of earth, large tree roots, and ice crystals attacked him simultaneously.
Stomping his foot on the ground, those attacks reversed direction and passed by him. Vincent thought there was a caster among his enemies, but he changed his mind when he saw them.
“What the fuck”
The men in dark outfits held oddly shaped guns. At a glance, they resembled weapons from a fiction novel. Vincent didn’t take long to recognize them.
“Elemental fucking Guns!?” he exclaimed.
Noah laughed. He had one too. “Why are you surprised? Everyone’s using them except for yourt trash guild.”
Vincent gritted his teeth. “You bastards!”
Pressing his finger on the trigger, Noah ready to fire.
“Fire!”
Bam! Bam! Bam!
A thunderous roar filled the air as Noah and his henchmen fired. Various elements chased Vincent simultaneously, but he didn’t move an inch. Instead, he grinned.
“Amateurs,” he muttered.
As the combined attack drew close to Vincent, their momentum slowed and eventually stopped. Noah and his henchmen furrowed their brows as they saw their attack hanging in the air.
“What’s happening?”
Suddenly, the attack turned back towards them. At the same time, Zee quickly dived into the shadows.
“Watch out!”
Naturally, the people in black outfits scattered, seeking cover. But they were too late. The combined elemental attack engulfed them.
Thud!
“Argh!”
Screams filled the room. Some were burned, some frozen, and some crushed by large rocks. In an instant, the empty room was filled with lifeless bodies.
Amidst this gruesome scene, Vincent grinned.
“You thought your sheer numbers could defeat me? Don’t misunderstand. It’s just like a little game, my boy.” He laughed loudly. After savoring it, he took a deep breath and mocked, “Now, where are you, kid?”
Behind a massive pillar, Noah trembled as he heard Vincent calling for him. He tightly gripped his weapon and gritted his teeth. This situation shouldn’t have turned out like this.
“Fuck, Klaus! Where are you? You said it could kill him, damn it!” Noah was genuinely frightened.
His eyes darted in every direction, searching for the girl who should have been the strongest in this battle.
“Shit! Where did she go?” Noah grew even more panicked.
As worry overcame Noah, his body suddenly floated.
“Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!”
Clutching onto the pillar, he tried to keep his body grounded. Unbeknownst to him, the Elemental Gun was the only weapon slipping from his grasp.
“Fuck!”
Noah reached for his weapon. As the Elemental Gun returned to his hand, Vincent spotted its location. At that moment, Noah swallowed hard.
“There you are, little piece of shit.”
Taken by surprise, Noah quickly pointed his weapon and pulled the trigger, and in an instant, lightning flashes shot out from the muzzle.
Vincent quickly responded, raising his hand upward. Around him, the gravitational field changed, creating a strong pulling force. At the same time, Noah fell to the ground.
The lightning bolts stopped in mid-air and circled around Vincent. He calmly redirected the attack back towards Noah, who was shocked and forced to dodge it hastily.
Noah grew increasingly frustrated and angry. He unleashed more shots, creating waves of fire, tornadoes, and even large rocks flying towards Vincent. However, Vincent continued to masterfully use his gravitational power, turning these attacks into weapons against Noah.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Noah found himself trapped by his own attacks. At the same time, Vincent descended from the height, directing gravity towards the helpless Noah pinned to the floor. Noah was lifted off the ground, helpless in the grip of the unstoppable gravitational force. With a mere wave of his hand, Vincent dropped Noah with an inevitable gravitational force.
Thud!
“Argh!”
Noah was thrown hard to the floor, his body limp, and blood pouring from his mouth. Writhing like a worm, he couldn’t move his body no matter how hard he tried. Meanwhile, Vincent approached him.
Vincent showed a wicked smile.
“After all I’ve done for you, you stab me in the back and collaborate with your enemy. You’re truly idiot, Noah. If it weren’t for your mother, you’d probably have died long ago. I’ve been holding back from killing you. And now, I’m not going to hold back anymore.”
Noah’s eyes widened in fear. The man cried as he shook his head.
“No! Please, no!”
As Vincent placed his hand on Noah’s neck, a shadow struck him. Vincent was thrown against the wall.
Bam!
Gritting his teeth, Vincent tried to rise from the rubble. The attack that hit him was so powerful that it brought down the wall.
“Zee…” he muttered angrily.
On the other side of the room, Zee emerged from the shadows. Her lips curled up as she watched Vincent drowning in rage. A dark aura shrouded her face.
“The losers are gone. Now I can be free. Let’s see how the guild master of Morning Star screams as I break his bones one by one,” Zee said arrogantly.
“As if you could,” Vincent replied.
Zee raised her hand, and from her fingertips, black light began to shimmer, creating sharp shadows that cut through the air. She launched a dark magic attack at Vincent quickly.
Swinging his hand, Vincent manipulated gravity, diverting the incoming dark attack. However, Zee had anticipated it. In an instant, the shadows spun and hit Vincent from all directions.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
“Urgg!”
In a brief moment, Vincent used his gravitational power to create a protective field around him. The dark shadows crashed into the field, creating an energy explosion that shook the building. The air around them rumbled from the collision of opposing forces.
But Zee didn’t stop there.
“Not bad! Can you handle the next attack?” she asked.
She unleashed a stronger dark attack, creating thousands of shadow needles that struck towards Vincent. Taken aback, he knew he couldn’t withstand the incoming attack. He quickly dodged it but was still hit by some of the shadow needles, leaving his arms injured.
Splat! Splat! Splat!
Vincent gritted his teeth.
Suddenly, Zee appeared in front of Vincent, attempting to grasp him with her dark grip. Vincent quickly manipulated the gravitational field around both of them, creating a strong pulling force. Zee got trapped in the deep gravitational field but quickly dived into the shadows to escape.
Both of them continued to exchange attacks.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Vincent used his gravitational power to create powerful attacks that hit Zee with tremendous force.
“Stop hiding, little bitch! Come at me!”
Zee, on the other hand, kept unleashing her deadly dark magic attacks, trying to assault Vincent from all directions.
They moved at an incredible speed, avoiding each other’s attacks while attempting to create openings to defeat their opponent. The longer the battle went on, the clearer it became who was being pushed back. Zee gritted her teeth. Her dark energy gradually weakened, unable to penetrate Vincent’s gravitational defense.
“I need to end this quickly,” Zee muttered through her teeth.
Gathering all the remaining dark energy, Zee shot forward like a fleeting shadow. Vincent didn’t stay idle. He accepted the challenge.
“Haaa!” they both shouted simultaneously.
Thud!
A loud boom echoed as dark energy and gravity collided.

Zee was slammed into the pillar. Blood spurted from her mouth as she fell to the ground. However, she tried to get up even though her body felt broken.
Seeing that his opponent was caught off guard, Vincent quickly seized the opportunity.
He directed his gravitational force toward Zee with full intensity. Zee was slammed for the second time into the wall in the corner of the room.
Bam!
This time, the girl was unable to get up again.
Vincent, though panting and injured, looked at Zee with a wicked grin. “Finally!” he said with laughter.
Zee was trembling. Not a single part of her body moved according to his will. He could only wail as Vincent drew closer.
“Argh!” Zee cried out in pain.
Vincent stepped on her head. Zee could not help but grit her teeth, enduring the unbearable pain.
“Traitor. You think you can beat me just because you’re an S-Class? We exist in different worlds, little bitch.”
“Argh!”
Vincent stomped harder on her head.
“Good, scream. I love the screams of traitors. People like you deserve to die,” he said.
Zee could not help but cry out in pain.
“Ha ha ha ha ha!”
Vincent cackled as he enjoyed torturing Zee. He would not let her die so easily. He made sure to give her the most painful death possible.
However, Vincent did not know that it was not over yet.
Amidst the cry and evil laughter, a metal sphere shot out at high speed in the shadows of the night.
Splat!
“Arrrrrgh!”
Holding his neck, Vincent groaned in pain. He widened his eyes as blood rushed out, soaking his clothes and body.
“What…. what happened?”
Pale-faced, Vincent tried to digest what had just happened. His eyes roamed in all directions, and he found a bloodstained metal ball lying on the floor.
“Fufufu… now we’re upside down.” Sprawled helplessly, Zee taunted Vincent.
Vincent squinted. Confusion was written clearly on his face.
Suddenly, footsteps echoed in the room.
Vincent turned his head to the origin of the sound. Then, his eyes opened wide.
A young man with emerald-green eyes stepped out of the shadows. A sly smile spread across his face.
With anger, Vincent said, “Klaus… Lee…”
