Reincarnation In Against The Gods - 81 Threatening the Emperor
“Do you really think you can burn me with your flames? Even Xue’er is not capable of this feat yet you are trying it… This is what I call, trying to hold the Sun in your grasp.” Ryusuke maintained a calm head as he spoke out…
He wasn’t injured because of his Primordial Chaos Divine Vein, it easily absorbed the Phoenix Fire as he stared at Feng Hengkong.
He rotated his head and spoke out to Feng Xue’er, “Xue’er it’s not my fault if they get hurt now. They are the ones who attacked me…”
Feng Xue’er tried to say something but her words were stopped in the middle as she found that she was unable to say anything to refute him, it was all truth that her uncles were the ones who attacked him with the intention to hurt him.
It would be incredibly unfair to him if he couldn’t even attack back, this was the reason Feng Xue’er didn’t say anything, but she was about to see soon that her silence would bring on hell on her uncles.
His voice started getting colder as he glared at the ones who attacked him with Phoenix Fire, “And there is one thing that I won’t ever change, I won’t hold back if it’s my enemy.”
His energy started to get stronger as he concentrated it on the two of them, the Divine Profound Energy started supress them as they experienced a crushing force attempting to crush them like an ant.
At this, Ryusuke even spoke out with his Sharingan madly spinning, “That’s all you are, an ant in front of me. NOW KNEEL!!” As if following his order, they both kneeled down at the same time.
It was completely in sync with no unnecessary movements which confused the onlookers but one thing was completely clear, the strength that Ryusuke wielded.
Feng Hengkong was intently staring at Ryusuke so as to gauge his strength, he was now considering him a serious threat but he didn’t know, Ryusuke was too far out of his reach.
It was a fish staring at a True Dragon. This was the only way to compare them, Feng Hengkong soon realized that he was someone in the Sovereign Realm otherwise his brothers would never be overpowered like that.
Feng Xue’er decided that enough was enough as she raised her voice as she screamed, “Enough!” Everyone turned silent as they heard her voice, it was anxious and also requesting them to stop.
Ryusuke decided it was enough and stopped applying the pressure, this caused the elders to breathe a sigh of relief but their pain wasn’t over, this pressure had broken their bones so it would take them some time before they would be completely back to normal.
Feng Xue’er started to speak as she put her right hand on her chest, “Listen father, I came here to inform you about the order by the Phoenix Spirit. And here you are trying to test Ryusuke… I do not think that the Phoenix Spirit would be pleased to know of this.”
Feng Hengkong’s expression didn’t change, it was similar to someone who was doing everything for the justice and good he believed in, he replied back, “Xue’er, you don’t understand. I had to test him to know if he was someone genuine.”
“Then doesn’t that mean that you don’t trust the judgement by Phoenix Spirit?” She stared at the Emperor as she waited for his answer…
Feng Hengkong simply raised his hands in air as he gave off a sheepish smile, “Now-now, Don’t be mad at me. I would never doubt the judgement of Phoenix Spirit but it is better seeing than believing, don’t you agree?”
At those words, Ryusuke heavily sweat-dropped ‘Aren’t his words completely contradictory? He said that he trusts the Phoenix Spirit but now he says that its better to see than to blindly believe. Just wow, you definitely deserve an award in bullshitting.’
At those words, Feng Xue’er shook her head in disappointment as she spoke up, “Alright father, I will trust you for now but you should trust me back. I didn’t come here to ask for your permission anyways, I came here to inform you that I am leaving together with Ryusuke to awaken my Bloodline. Only when I completely awaken will I return here.”
With that, she went out of the hall as she didn’t stay there and listen to her father’s words, but Ryusuke stayed there as he glared at Feng Hengkong.
Ryusuke’s extremely calm and cold-blooded eyes looked into his eyes as he started speaking, “Listen well Emperor, my wife is the princess of the Blue Wind Empire. If and I mean if something happens to the Blue Wind Empire and I find that your Empire is involved in it whether directly or indirectly.”
He paused as he glanced at the expression that formed on the face of the Emperor, and continued, “I personally promise you, I will destroy the Divine Phoenix Palace and kill every one to its last survivor.”
Feng Hengkong’s eyes widened as he heard those words, he raised his voice and shouted out, “You… DO you know what you are saying BOI!? You… You are threatening the Emperor of the Divine Phoenix Palace! Stay within your limits.”
Feng Hengkong blinked his eyes and was startled when he saw Ryusuke standing right in front of him with barely any distance between them. Ryusuke whispered in a low tone, “I can say the same about you Emperor, stay within your limits. I wouldn’t hesitate to massacre everyone here if you do a bad move.”
Feng Hengkong didn’t know why but he gave out a nod, he had a strong suspicion that if he didn’t nod at that time then his head won’t be attached to his body.
It was simply an untested suspicion but he wouldn’t want to try it out with that boy. Those eyes were a lot colder than the winds in the Southern Part of the Blue Pole Star, he could deduce that this boy wouldn’t hesitate to kill all of them, even after killing all of them, he likely wouldn’t feel anything.
This was the sort of pressure he received when Ryusuke was standing right in front of him. It was simply unlike that he had ever experienced, he didn’t want to admit but he felt that even the presence of the Phoenix Spirit was nothing in front of Ryusuke.
It was terrifying to say the least, his Aura was like that of a Dragon, Strong, Fierce, Untamed and emitted so much of pride that it intimidated them.
This was the strength of his Azure Dragon Bloodline, even without using its abilities, its passive presence was enough to scare off his enemies or the beasts which sensed it.
