Reincarnation of the Cheater - Chapter 64:Being Summoned
As the group of Elven people approaches the door I put my hand on the dagger just in case something goes wrong. As they knock on the door it slowly opens as I quickly put the dagger back into the inventory before any of them notice.
“Please follow us, the Village Chief and the Elders of the village wish to speak with you.” The lead elf from earlier says in the human language as he proceeds to lead me outside. As we walk throughout the village a lot of the elves look at me curiously through their windows as I walk by with the group. Their whispers in the elvish language were translated in real-time to me as soon as I heard it.
“Look, its the human the Chief found.” One elf says while taking glances as me.
“Do you think he really will do what the chief will ask of him?” Another elf says while staring at me with a face full of suspicion. I wouldn’t blame him though, I’m mainly here to get some experience to reach level 50 and reach the second rank already.
“I don’t know about that but it was said that this human was one we already found before, but unlike this time he was predicted to be hostile by the Village Chief even after the Chief heavily wounded the wolf monster that was near him when he appeared out of nowhere.” An Elf says in the elven language as he peeks at me with discontent.
‘Damn, I thought it was weird that the variant wolf cub was so badly injured. I thought that I was given a free pass since I had just come into the world but it seems that I could have died if the elves weren’t there.’
‘Damn, the world really let me spawn there with no protection, whoever sent me here could have been at least careful of where they put a level 1 person. I would have died if that wolf cub wasn’t badly injured That would have been a prime example of spawn camping that everyone hates no matter the game. Whoever sent me here must not care about me then. I thought that they gave a system so I can adjust normally but maybe it’s something else.’
“We’re here. Please be respectful when in the presence of the elders. You may not understand our customs but please respect them.” The leading elf says as he leads me to a large tree with a door on the base of the tree.
“I understand.” I answer as I follow him through the door that has been opened by the elven guards.
As we walk through the doors we enter into the tree that has been hallowed out on the inside. As I look around the tree that’s been hallowed out but still very much alive I see that there is a group of older looking elves all sitting around the elf village chief from earlier.
Seeing as how there isn’t anyone conveniently blocking my from using appraisal on him I decide to do so.

‘So not even I can see further into that skill huh.’ I say to myself as the elder village council finish sizing me up.
“He isn’t as strong-looking as you said he was. Are you sure that he defeated the elf that went out of control? He doesn’t look like he can hurt our weakest elf rather than one of the top 10.” One of the elders says in the elven language. I guess that they think no humans would bother to learn the elven language since the elves are a hidden race in this age.
“I agree, I don’t see how he has the qualifications for us to ask him for help. Can’t we just ask another village to help us?” Another elven elder agrees with the first showing his discontent.
“Well, he may look frail with those clothes on but if you look closer you can see that he has been through some battles. Every elf should learn to discern how strong an enemy is before they even reach 50 years old, have you finally gone senile old man?” An elder elf on the other side of the table says as he tries to start an argument.
Upon hearing the bickering of the old elves the village chief just sighs and nods his head. “I can see your concern but I have over 5 witnesses that can account for his strength. He wasn’t going all out and he could fight Garn to a corner. He didn’t only have him on his back he would have killed him if we hadn’t stepped in to stop him. We may be able to get rid of the parasite that is corroding him with this human’s help so I decided to ask him. Any objections?” The elven chief says while giving the group of elders a stern look as if saying that he wouldn’t be moved from his decision.
