‘Hmm… Husk Spider Core is a very rare item… at least in this level. This could help me out a lot if I get an enchanter to enchant it for me.’
As she pondered deep in her thought, Fortress is noticed there’s something troubling her. After the Notification came, Rakuri just went silent. Fortress assumed that there really is something Rakuri wants from the loot, but because she is not the party leader, her share of loot has yet to be distributed. Fortress opened up the menu and asked her, “Is there something you want, Ms. Rakuri?”
“Hm? Ahh, I actually do if you don’t mind.”
“Of course not, without you, we wouldn’t have survived that. I really didn’t expect this dungeon to be so hard even though it’s ranked at the bottom in the forum.”
“It’s not really the dungeon, it’s just your party didn’t have the firepower to do this. You ought to hire someone or best yet, level up first.”
“Will do. So, I take it you want the husk core?”
“Yep.”
“All right then.”
Fortress sent it to her right away, and it arrives with a bleep in her [Inbox]. Unlike when she’s with her original team, this is the way it works if she joins another party.
“You guys ready to move?” asked Grandma.
Fortress nodded, “Mhm. Let’s go.”
Moving deeper inside, they arrived in a narrow slope. There, they found more of those spiders there. With the same tactic, Rakuri lights up the wall, revealing the enemies and rushed towards them. This time, Kucing also joined the fight. Making it even easier for them.
As Rakuri rolled her dagger, she used her [Flame Creation] once again and send a wave of embers at the spiders, making them staggers.
The battle soon ended with them as the victor once again.
They got out of the slope soon after, and then they were given a choice on where they want to go. 3 Pathway tunnels. This makes them nervous, but with Rakuri with them, it’s lessening their worries. The party decided to go on the right pathway first, Rakuri said that this is the way to the mini-boss are. The other one is a trap dead end and the other leads to the second layer, the latter being the center pathway.
“So, Rakuri-san. I didn’t know you could use [Immolation] like that. I mean, taking the fire and throw it out like a ball. That was cool” said Kucing.
“Mhm.”
“Did you get that spell from a quest?”
“No worries.”
Soon after, they arrived in a large open space. The light from the [Blinding Light] is enough for them to spot two giant spiders, one is sitting far away. And the other is close on their left, standing on the second level of the stone ground.
Unlike the spiders they have seen before, these albino spiders are leaking out some sort of green liquid from their mouth. “Same strategy, but this time, you stick with them, Suburbian.”
Fortress nodded at her command.
“Don’t get too close with the far one, we need to kill them one by one.”
Surging another flame out of her body, she sends them to the dagger she’s carrying. Heating them up, she can feel it that it’s about to break. She heated it up even more, making a truly flaming dagger. As it seared up completely, Rakuri rotates it and send it to the albino’s head.
*TAKSssst*
“KREEEEEEHHHKKK!”
It was hit, and the dagger is melting in its head. Rakuri pocketed the other and summoned her staff from the inventory, the same wooden staff she used back in the prison realm.
The trio’s eyes widened and shocked by how effective her attack was, they swore to themselves that they are going to buy fire enchantment for their weapon and some flame spell when they got back. That is… if they don’t quit the game after this dungeon run.
Multiple spiders are crawling to them, but Rakuri lets the party handle it themselves while she went for the big fish.
The albino spider noticed she’s coming, it pulls out many threats from its back and created webs on all over the ground right in front of it.
*Bwoooosh*
Unfortunately, Rakuri also noticed it coming. With the use of her flame, she set the webs on fire. Quickly after, she whirls her staff and rapidly fires off [Windbolt] in its direction.
*Fwoosh *Fwoosh *Fwoosh *Fwoosh *Fwoosh
It is almost exactly like a submachine gun, not too much damage, but if you get hit full clip in it… you’re dead.
*Fwoosh *Fwoosh *Fwoosh *Fwoosh *Fwoosh *BAKS
With those many hits of wind hitting the spider, it quickly stunned it.
Rakuri ran towards it right away, she doesn’t want to use up any more mana than this. Because there is still another battle she has to fight.
Though right now, she needs to finish that spider quickly. Moving using the ground itself, she went smoothly to the top and then smashed the spider’s head with her staff.
*Bam*
*Takk *Takk *Takk
She imbued it with flames once more, rotating it stylishly to spread it out and then smashed it again. Again… and again.
*BAM*
The albino spider twitched its legs, indicating that it’s dead. ‘Heh, easier than I thought.’
Afterword, she went after the other albino spider. Pulling out her last dagger, she imbued it with her flames and send them at the monster.
*BWOOMPH*
She missed her shot to its head and hits its body instead.
She clicked her tongue, ‘Damn, I’m getting rusty again. I need to up my stamina even more.’ Pulling out her staff again, she propelled herself towards it and send multiple [Windbolt] at the spider once again.
Her mana keeps going down.
[Rakuri lv. 40]
Health: 800/800 / Mana: 1450/2600 / Stamina: 360/1100
But it is not enough for her to worry about. Soon after, the party has finished their fights with the spiders. Quickly, they went to give her the assistance she needs. Not once has Rakuri ever gotten hit, but for the other guys, they’re desperate in need healing. Instead of sitting and wait, they went to assist her.
They know that if Rakuri goes down, they soon will join her to the Temple of Gathering.

~~~~~
The party went back after the battle ended. There is nothing but piles of bones in that area.
Also, there is one thing they regretted not to bring with them to this dungeon. And that is a torch. When exploring ruins and such, relying on a magic spell is better, but for the most part… a torch is pretty much essential since it’s not just being used to light up the area.
According to Rakuri, it can also keep the enemies at bay.
Since the trio has come here before, she thought they already knew, but it turns out, they don’t.
A useful tip is always appreciated.
They soon entered the second layer and fought many more battles with the spiders, unlike before, these things are larger in size and have the ability to create a stronger web that is immune to low-level flames, the one that Rakuri has.
But that doesn’t matter, because she doesn’t need that to kill them.
*BAM *BAM *BAM
Repeatedly pounding her staff at the Albino’s head, right on its eyes. Rakuri keeps doing that to keep the Albino staggered and unable to recover for it to use its ability to let out a venom.
Grandma stared at her blankly, “D-Damn. She’s really different than most pros I met.”
He used to have many friends in the higher league in another game, and most of them are professionals. And this is truly the first time he sees a pro that is… like that.
*BAM *BAM *BAKS
One of her hits went critical and it kills the Albino right away, there are three left and they scattered around the open space.
Unlike the albino from before, this one can summon more of smaller spiders to fight for them instead. They don’t have the same venomous fangs as the ones before however.
“Suburbian! Take Grandma with us.”
Fortress nodded and lifted Grandma right away. This is why they regretted not bringing a torch, they can’t see clearly inside.
“Give me your staff.”
“Eh? W-Wait, NOOOooooo…”
Rakuri snatched it away from him and then continue to bring havoc to the spider’s home.
Grandma’s staff is a real staff with the bonuses of increased Potency and Efficiency of a spell. Even if it’s called a priest staff, it’ll still add up to her potency as long as she meets the requirement to wield it.
*Bwoooosh*
Because of it, her flames have become even stronger and thicker.
[Standard Priest Staff] Attack Rating: 8 / Physical Damage: Very Low / Magic Damage: None / Ability Potency: +1 / Spell Efficiency: 15% / Type: Staff / Rarity: Common / Requirement: None
She cloaked herself in flame and coated the staff in it. Fiercely, and rapidly sliding using her Earth magic. Just like a flame thrower, she burns the pest to dust.
…
“Here.”
“…” staring at his staff blankly as Rakuri handing it over to him.
Rakuri returned his staff fully coated in the blood of spiders. He didn’t even recognize that it was his staff. “Ugh, what did she do to you.”
Fortress cleared up the area and rested his back on the rock. They’re all exhausted.
Rakuri is still able to fight again, but it will be risky, and so she decided that the group rest for a bit. In a dungeon, the boss will spawn back the monster defeated inside after a few hours. And for the same team that comes first inside the dungeon after they beat the boss, the monster inside will have a level upgrade and a slight buff to their abilities.
Since this is their first time, the monsters inside are at the starter level enemies.
“Have you been a solo all this time, Rakuri-san?” asked Kucing.
“No, I had a party.”
“Really? They must be very lucky to have you.”
Rakuri chuckled, “It’s me who is lucky to have them.”
“Oh-oh?”
Rakuri sat down and join them in a circle, “Not to brag or anything, I might be the strongest in that party. But that doesn’t mean I’m the best in there.”
“Ehh, really? How so? I mean, you’re pretty much yoloing this dungeon. I couldn’t think the possibility there’s someone better than you at this, Rakuri-san.”
“You flatter me.” Rakuri formed a slight warm smile, “But yeah, there’s this templar. I doubt I need to explain the abilities, but… she’s better than me when it comes to fighting.”
“… and there is also this Necromancer girl. She’s a genius.”
“A templar and necromancer? And, you’re a mage, right? That’s quite an odd combination.”
“Yeah, but it works. Can’t wait to meet them again.”
“Eh? Are they-”
“Hm? No, no. They’re still playing, it’s just that… they’re on a break, I think.”
“A… break, huh. I see.”
The party’s mood light up, they’re thinking the same thing. There are other Rakuri out there that is even better than the one in front of them, they couldn’t believe it. And still can’t, not until they see it themselves. However, they can’t help but get excited to meet them.
They went to chatter together for some time, sharing how it went down about their life… the life they have in the second earth. Rakuri listened to them, seeing how passionate they are. They want to get better, not just stronger, they want to live the life they wanted.
