Rent A Boyfriend! - Chapter 179
Meng Bao and I enjoyed the wedding party on this luxurious ferry ship called Ying Jie Loves Meng Bao Ferry.
Yeah, and it wasn’t a joke either. Meng Bao literally bought a luxury ferry and plastered our selfie in the ship body for everyone to see. He had zero shame about it and even looked proud when he showed me the ferry for the first time.
I was left speechless, of course. But I couldn’t do anything, since our second wedding would be set in this place. Meng Bao had prepared everything for this wedding and invited even more people to our ferry wedding.
I wore a simple but elegant white dress, while Meng Bao wore a suit that looked simple and expensive. We were standing while the guests came to us one by one. But the one who caught my eyes the most was Shi Qiang.
She came with her entourage of hot men. I could recognize Jiang Jinxing, Mr. Long Shan, the powerful mafia in the city, and… I squinted to see the third man. He wore dark shades to cover his face, but his stunning handsomeness was too blinding.
I think that one was… Sun Zhu, right?
Yeah, That was definitely the current Movie Emperor Sun Zhu! What was he doing here anyway?
No, no, the better question was… why were these powerful men following Mr. Feng Xiaojun everywhere like three lost puppies?
…
Hold on.
Chotto Matte.
Jjangkkaman.
My fujoshi sense was tingling as I kept eyeing them. I had a feeling that those three men were in love with Mr. Feng Xiaojun and were chasing for his love.
It was BL harem!
Oh, Buddha! What kind of world did I live in? Would I be able to see a foursome—
“Ying Jie, why are you looking at them?” Meng Bao snapped me out of my wild fantasy. He pouted, and he looked displeased. “Don’t look at other men with that kind of expression. I might have to clean up a few stuff if you are doing that.”
…
Ah, I forgot about my Yandere husband. I wanted to tell him about it, but I guessed it was privacy for Mr. Feng Xiaojun and those men. So I had to keep my mouth shut.
I chuckled and kissed his cheek, “I was just checking on the guests, don’t be too jealous over small things.”
“Yeah, small things. I will be crushing a lot of bugs at this point,” Meng Bao continued pouting and complaining. I sighed deeply, it would take a while for Meng Bao to cool down, and his random jealousy would let to another wild night for us.
Well, that was better than him going on a crazy rampage and killed few people that displeased him. I was told by his underling that Young Master Yang was really feared across the country because of his powerful connection and the overall giant hand that could move many businesses around at his will.
He was that feared.
And the notorious man was pouting right now, just because I stared at some random men.
“If you continue pouting like that, then I won’t give it to you for tonight,” I dropped the sacred word, and Meng Bao’s expression eased immediately.
He chuckled nervously, “Aha—Ahahaha… Jiejie, of course, I was just joking. I will do anything as long as we can get it tonight. It’s our second wedding, remember?”
We were bickering for a moment until Shi Qiang and a handsome man walked to us, “Jiejie, Yang Ge, congratulations on the second wedding here. The food is great, I approve,” Shi Qiang said shamelessly.
I suspected that she had eaten at least 50% of the chef stock today. I wasn’t interested in that. I was actually interested in the man Shi Qiang brought today.
He was extraordinarily handsome and actually looked a lot like Mr. Feng Xiaojun, just a younger version.
“Qiang, is this?”
“Yep, this is my boyfriend,” Qiang said proudly.
“Oh? So you’ll follow your Jie’s step immediately? Didi, what is your name?” I asked.
“Yes, Jiejie, my name is—”
“Shush!” Shi Qiang covered her boyfriend’s mouth to prevent him from speaking. “You can’t tell your name yet. You’re a character from Mr. CEO Secretly Reads BL. You’re just a cameo here!” Shi Qiang yelled.
“Ugh, you really don’t want to spoil me just a bit,” I complained.
“Nu-uh, you should read it yourself,” Shi Qiang raised her brow mischievously and continued, “Anyway, I’ll have to go now, the dinner table is waiting for me again, haha!”
After Shi Qiang and her boyfriend left, Tian Lifeng arrived with her son, “Ah, Lifeng, thank you for coming!” I said.
Tian Lifeng giggled, “Thank you for inviting me, Shi Ying. I really didn’t expect that you’d marry this handsome man here. I thought you will—”
“Shush,” I stopped her from speaking more. Meng Bao’s expression darkened as if he just overheard a cheating wife.
Tian Lifeng zipped her mouth. She seemed to realize that she had pressed the red button, “T—Then, I’ll get going. Congratulations, Shi Ying!”
After Tian Lifeng left to join the other guests for food, Meng Bao confronted me immediately.
“Did you cheat—”
“It was Alex,” I snippet him before he assumed some dangerous stuff, knowing Meng Bao. His head must’ve been travelling around right now.
Meng Bao paused and then asked, “Did you already do something with him?”
“Meng Bao, it was literally just after-work dinner, and he helped me with grocery shopping, that’s it. And that happened long ago when I didn’t know that you’re my Mengmeng.”
…
Meng Bao was still displeased, but he said nothing, “Jiejie, promise that we will do it tonight if I didn’t get mad, okay?”
I rolled my eyes, “Fine, seriously, Meng Bao, you’re such a baby.”
“I can’t help it. Everything about you is too addicting, and I’m afraid someone might steal you in the future….”
Oh, trust me, the only one thinking like that was you.
I got busy trying to pacify Meng Bao until a guest came in with his platinum blonde hair. He wore a brown suit today, looking dapper as always.
“Ying Jie, Mengmeng, congratulations on the wedding,” Alexander Priest said. I could sense a trace of sadness on his face, but he covered it up immediately and showed a gentle smile.
“I don’t remember sending you an invite,” Meng Bao said sharply. He took one step and hid me behind his broad shoulder. “What do you want?”
Alexander Priest was appalled by Meng Bao’s reaction, “It’s not you who invited me, it’s her.”
“It’s me who invited him, Baobao. Stop being so mean to your brother figure. Don’t fight over silly stuff!” I yelled at Meng Bao.
I took one step and smiled at Alex, “Thank you for coming, Alex.”
“Of course, I will come for my little brother and big sister’s wedding,” Alex said.
“She’s not your big sister. Stop trying to be intimate with her,” Meng Bao said vigilantly. He was like a guard dog ready to bite anyone who came near them.
I rolled my eyes. Meng Bao seemed to have permanent hostility to any man that I’ve come across, “Don’t mind him, Alex. I hope you and Meng Bao will continue being brothers after this. I really don’t want you two to fight.”
“Of course, Ying Jie. Mengmeng is my brother as always.”
…
“Yang Menghuo,” I called his full name to remind him. He clicked his tongue in annoyance and nodded.
“Hm, whatever.”
Alex chuckled, “Well, I’ll get going. I hope I can see nephew and nieces soon.”
“Oh, Mengmeng, if you dare to hurt Ying Jie, then I won’t hesitate to snatch her from you,” Alex joked and left us.
Meng Bao’s eyes widened, and he yelled, “Like hell, I will let you do that!”
**
The day 1 party took a while, and when it was finished, the guests had returned to their assigned room inside the ferry.
Meng Bao and I returned to our room that had been decorated with a romantic touch.
Meng Bao took a bath first, seemingly impatient for our night.
I took a bath after him, and when I was done, I saw him sitting on the long sofa wearing a velvet robe.
He looked more sensual than usual with his slicked-back after bath hair.
However, I found no smile on his face. He didn’t seem to be happy.
I sat on his lap and asked, “What’s wrong?”
“You know what’s wrong,” Meng Bao said.
“Oh really? You’re going to fight with me tonight? Let me guess, it’s about those men and their eyes. Especially with Alexander Priest, right?”
…
Meng Bao didn’t answer, which I guess was the correct guess.
I sighed and leaned my head on his chest, “Don’t be like this. You might suffocate me in the end.”
“I know you love me, Meng Bao. But you must trust me.”
“I trust you, but I don’t trust them.”
“You’re always guarding me 24/7. What else do you need? Remember this, I’ve survived fifteen years of zero relationships because I’m waiting for you. Do you doubt me after we finally got married?”
…
Meng Bao didn’t answer again, but I knew that his anger had disappeared. I teased him by kissing his chest and said, “Well, if you don’t want it, I guess I’ll sleep.”
I was about to get up when his hand suddenly circled on my waist, “Don’t leave.”
“Then don’t sulk!”
“Un,” Meng Bao nodded shyly. “I just love you so much, Jie. I don’t know how to handle this feeling.”
“Well, you can always start by kissing me,” I joked, and Meng Bao kissed me for real.
We started kissing passionately as our long night finally began.
