Restarting the Escape Game as Max Level - Chapter 14
After lunch, they searched the rooms again and found nothing. The five children have been playing outside the entire time. When they saw the volunteers, they hid far away.
Dinner time came earlier than they expected.
After dinner, Wen Qing put down her fork and said, “The time flow is not right during the day.”
Chen Si nodded, and her high ponytail shook: “The big clock outside is moving very fast. It doesn’t match the seconds I silently counted.”
Captain Justice impatiently combated, “So what? It’s been a day and a night, and there’s still no clues. It’s too boring. I can’t wait for the time to pass quickly!”
He stood up and looked at Su Xi. His momentum was weaker. He snorted, “I’m going to sleep in the room. Don’t bother me if you have nothing to do!”
The others also went upstairs to rest.
Very soon the sky darkened and the children playing outside disappeared.
Ruan Qiao couldn’t sleep. She went downstairs to the door next to the stairs and tried to open it, and instead discovered that she felt something behind the door, and could not open it: “yi, the restaurant was not closed when we left before.”
[Bullet screen] I remember that the door of the restaurant was not like this? Did the anchor go to the back stairs instead? The restaurant door is next to another staircase……
[Bullet screen] Lost * 2
[Bullet screen] I want to know how lucky the anchor is……
She pushed hard, heard a pile of things fall behind the door, opened half of the door and squeezed in.
There were many sundries in it. There were all kinds of empty milk bottles scattered on the ground, as well as several discarded picture books. There was a pile of rubber skipping leather ropes in the corner. Ruan Qiao came across two newspapers on the shelf near the door wall.
This should be a storage room. There were some hoes and shovels beside the door, and they slid down against the door.
When she opened the first newspaper, the paper turned yellow. On the front page was the photo of the orphanage, with the striking title “Abandoned Orphans —— New Loving Home playground”.
The orphanage was built by local rich businessmen with money they raised. It was named after the mayor and they adopted five abandoned children. As it was a charity project, the mayor received great awards, and living expenses would be directly transferred to the account of the orphanage every year.
“Happy Orphanage was closed unexpectedly in 1997. Thank you for your help and concern.” Ruan Qiao looked through the second newspaper. There were some small advertisements on the back, such as a notice for finding things, the milk supplier and so on. The only report about the orphanage was in a corner of the second edition.
The second report was vague, and many places were full of platitudes. Ruan Qiao put down the newspaper and said, “It’s just a face saving project. Nobody cares about the orphanage. The day when it was completed, it was probably the most lively and interesting time here.”
[Bullet screen] The anchor looks like a newcomer, but in fact, she is cautious and steady. It is definitely not her first time playing horror games.
[Bullet screen] If she dares to come down alone to find clues in the evening, the host is a man
[Bullet screen] When she entered the restaurant, my intuition told me that there was important information in the restaurant.
Ruan Qiao went out of the storage room, walked past the big clock to the real dining room door, opened the door, walked through the dining room, and entered the kitchen.
The bullet screen began the discussion seriously.
[Bullet screen] I think the anchor must have unearthed something during the day and came to find clues alone at night.
[Bullet screen] The newcomer has a promising future. I have followed her.
[Bullet screen] The host is pouring water into the pot!
[Bullet screen] Water is boiling! Is it some mysterious calling ceremony……
Ruan Qiao did find something in the kitchen. She washed a cup, took out a pot of tea from the cabinet below, and used the boiled water……
