Returnee’s Life Report - Chapter 78
We were intense. We did it three times in the water and two more times on the shore. It felt extreme to make love inside the water.
To be honest, I understood Yoo-Jeong, and I could easily empathize with her. We both lost our parents, but while I still had my brother, she didn’t have anyone left.
She reminded me of myself when I had just arrived in Valhalla.
I liked her sincereness. To be more specific, I liked everything about her. I don’t just sleep with anyone. My mother instilled in me to respect women, so I lived like that. I would never cheat on someone.
After our escapades, we sat inside the tent. We were both naked, covering ourselves with the blanket. It felt like we were camping.
“It’s like we’re camping.”
“I was just thinking the same thing.”
Kim Yoo-Jeong smiled and leaned her body on me. We stayed like that for a while.
“You can sleep if you want.”

She shook her head. “I want to be with you like this.”
“I suppose my body is warm now.”
I could see that she was smiling. Upon seeing this, I hugged her. “Then can I ask you something inappropriate?”
“I also did that, so go ahead.”
“What’s your bra size?”
That made her laugh.
“C.”
“But that’s larger than a C.”
“I’m almost a D.”

“What about your weight?”
“Forty-nine kilograms.”
I looked at her in surprise.
“Really?”
“…Something like that.”
It doesn’t seem accurate, but I just laughed. “You could have become a fashion model.”
“Is that a compliment?”
“It is.”
It was quite strange that no one had ever dated her before. She really was an attractive person.

“I think it’s time to get ready.”
“…Why?”
“Rahab just woke up.”
Soon, we could hear a strange rumbling in the distance, followed by a loud splash.
I looked out and saw that the monster was now awake and moving. It stood at about forty-five meters tall, and its skin seemed hard and scaly. It looked like a mixture of a dragon and a sea serpent.
It hasn’t noticed us yet, but it will soon.
I smiled. “Let’s go hunt this monster down.”
“As you wish.”

Kim Yoo-Jeong lowered her body to the ground, ready to snipe.
“I heard that you went to the Hunter Academy and learned how to use a sniping rifle.”
“That’s right.”
I had just heard from Kim Yoo-Jeong that there were such things as a Hunter Academy, which was for Hunters who wanted to become stronger. Yoo-Jeong attended the academy for five months and learned how to use guns from there.
“Keep in mind that this monster doesn’t know where the bullets will be coming from.”
She nodded.
“I hid our location with my aura, that’s what assassins use. I’ll teach it to you later.”
She nodded again. She didn’t answer me because I told her not to say a thing. I told her to listen and concentrate only on the gun, so that was what she was doing.
“Look at its eye. Shoot.”

The monster jumped, and with this, Kim Yoo-Jeong pulled the trigger. In an instant, a bullet was shot from the gun’s barrel. The sound it made was rather impressive, but that was it. It hit the target directly in its eye, but the gun’s power was not enough.
Rahab blinked. The attack did not even tickle it.
“Your aim was correct. Now, let’s put more aura inside the bullet. Use Merlin’s staff to support you.”
She did as she was told. As she concentrated on her gun, I put my hands on her back.
“I’ll teach you how to use your aura, so follow my lead.”
I sent a surge of my aura down to her body and felt her adapting to it. She managed to incorporate the aura I sent into her body. I gave her the approximate amount of aura that a highly ranked S-rated Hunter would have.
“It’s trying to look for you. Let’s snipe its eyes again.”
She nodded silently.
Rahab was looking in our direction, and that gave us a second chance for a clean shot. Yoo-Jeong knew the right time to shoot, and she did.

It was an effective attack, but the enemy was far stronger.
Kim Yoo-Jeong exhaled harshly. She had used too much aura.
I smiled as I watched her.
“That was better than I expected.”
“…Huh?”
“You actually hit its eyes. Have you ever sniped something from a long distance before?”
She nodded. “I can snipe from up to two miles.”
That was quite enough.
“Are you sure that it’s safe to stay here?”

“Why are you asking?”
“The monster is coming for us.”
She was right. Rahab was evidently intelligent. It had exposed itself to us in order to detect our location, but it wouldn’t know where we were.
I not only hid our location but also made the monster confused. That was why it launched an attack at the wrong place. Rahab’s teeth bared down and crushed a nearby structure.
I inserted more aura into Yoo-Jeong’s body so that she can recover.
“What is this?”
“Practice this. I gave you more aura than usual. If you control that, you may have a chance for revenge.”
I dissolved our barrier and Rahab finally discovered where we were, staring directly into my eyes. I then instructed Kim Yoo-Jeong, “One shot, one kill. We’ll aim for that.”
“………”

“You are a sniper, Kim Yoo-Jeong. Put it in your head that if you miss this shot, you’ll die.”
Rahab quickly rushed towards us. I blocked its attack, sending the shockwaves of its blow into the ocean. I slowly spoke to Yoo-Jeong.
“We’ll attack him in three points, which will become its weaknesses. If you hit at least one point, you’ll be able to hunt this one down.”
That was all I needed to explain.
With rotation and a burst of aura on my feet, I kicked Rahab’s face, sending the monster flying back to the ocean. I rushed towards it.

The Hunters of ROKHA had to undergo a battery of tests. Yoo-Jeong did her best to pass these tests every time. She learned how to use guns, drive tanks, and even knew how to pilot a helicopter. She did her best to become stronger, and that was why she knew how to use the gun Hwan had provided her.
She was that desperate.
She had wanted to show Lee Hwan that she had worked hard and that her time was meaningful, so Hwan had given her another chance.

She felt aura flowing inside her, heightening her senses.

The system was expressing everything all at once.
Lee Hwan had already exceeded the system; he was not just an irregular Hunter. Kim Yoo-Jeong couldn’t help but wonder what kind of path he had walked to possess such power.
She checked her power level and saw that it was at 1,284. By receiving only a small amount of Hwan’s aura, she had become a master. She didn’t really care about the title of ‘Heir of Half-Dragon,’ but one thing was clear. If she manages to gather all this aura into one attack, then she can give an effective blow equivalent to an SS-rated attack.
She concentrated hard; the gun pointed at Rahab.
Lee Hwan was fighting with the monster. His punches and kicks gave off powerful shockwaves that changed the atmosphere. The tide was now moving forcefully.

It was like she was watching a scene from a movie.
A man alone, fighting against the large monster.
Kim Yoo-Jeong concentrated. She didn’t need to get support from Merlin’s staff; Hwan’s aura was already enough to support her.
She took a deep breath and stared at her target, feeling the aura flowing inside her. She did what Lee Hwan taught her to do.
After a moment, Hwan attacked Rahab and ripped a part of its skin off, revealing the fleshy skin underneath. That was its weakness now. The monster manifested a sphere that was made out of water, but Hwan easily dodged it, lunging to the middle of Rahab’s body. He then ripped another part of its skin off and did the same to its head.
Now the monster’s weaknesses were clear. All Yoo-Jeong had to do was hit the target.
She focused on it, blocking out everything around her. All she could see was her target. Her concentration was intense, her eyes on Rahab’s weak points.
[ You learned ‘Concentration’ skill. ]
That did not matter. She was so focused that she even ignored Lee Hwan’s calls.

Then, as Hwan had taught her, she manipulated her aura. It moved as if it were Yoo-Jeong’s in the first place.
She knew how to do this right.

Rahab turned its head, and its eyes met with Yoo-Jeong’s.
She didn’t turn away.
‘I’ll fight back and hunt him down.’

She felt as if her airways were all cleared. She can now easily handle the aura Hwan had given her. She gathered the aura into one, feeling it overload. It can easily explode now. With that, Yoo-Jeong pulled the trigger.
Boom.
[ You learned the skill ‘One shot, one kill.’ ]

With this, Rahab screamed painfully and fell down with a splash; there was a big gaping hole in its throat.
