Revival of Gods: I Know This God - Chapter 29
The invasion of alien populations and abyss demons in this universe could be regarded as the second invasion.
The first invasion was when the main gods were still in this universe.
They had a great war, and the gods won.
But from the mouths of their captives, there was a stronger existence than them.
They were stirred…
In this universe, the gods didn’t know how long they’ve lived, they existed since ancient times.
They no longer cared so much about life.
In other words, life is no longer their pursuit.
After knowing that their cultivation could be improved, these gods who had lived for countless years had moved their minds.
They lived for countless years, and their cultivation had reached the highest level of the universe.
They had experienced everything that should be experienced and had everything they should have. There was no other pursuit.
When a person, or a god, had what he should have and had lived for countless years, he became numb to his life.
Knowing the existence of more powerful people, the gods were excited.
They were excited not because their cultivation level could be improved, but that they had a new pursuit in life.
It’s like a person’s heart which was dark for countless years and a beam of light had entered his world.
Even if the light was weak, it was the deadliest temptation for them.
They would put down everything to pursue it.
Hearing these words, Matthew’s heart could not be calm for a long time.
Fortunately, he had lived as a human for two lifetimes, he understood that things have priorities.
Suppressing his shock, he looked straight at Apollo and said, “So you abandoned your home universe in pursuit of higher cultivation?”
“You even beautifying it by saying that you have been guarding your hometown from afar?”
“I don’t know how you can say such nonsense.”
“Is this the main god that everyone in the home universe believes in?”
“I wonder how they would feel if they knew that the main god they believed in was such a god.”
Matthew was glad he got the bet right in front of a man who had lived for unknown years.
All lies could not be hidden.
He was just using a small dot to zoom in infinitely.
If it wasn’t for no one else was in the Gods’ Space, everything Matthew said would not stand if someone told Apollo the truth.
“The last thing the noumenon left me is.”
“In the future, if anyone summons me.”
“I shall pass on the inheritance to the person, but I don’t want to do it.”
“But now I seem to have no other choice …”
When Matthew heard this, his eyes rolled, “So, what is your decision?”
Apollo didn’t answer Matthew directly but said to himself, “You have the Hades’s inheritance in you. If you inherit my inheritance, do you know what the consequences are?”
“As far as I can remember, they tried, and they all failed. ”
Matthew knew Apollo was referring to those idle gods.
They lived too long and would always find some fun for themselves.
“No exceptions?” Matthew asked.
“No exceptions.”
At this, Matthew was silent, and his heart became a little heavy.
It seems that he was too naive to have such a thought.
Now that there was no main god in this world, everything was just a wild guess.
This method was naturally tried by the gods when they were still here but Matthew was still unwilling to give up the inheritance of the Sun God.
“So, tell me what your answer is?”
Apollo looked at Matthew and he had said everything he had to say.
It was Matthew’s decision to live or die.
After all, he was just a thought of Apollo staying in this universe.
“I have one last question, is there a space for this when you experimented, and how long your experiment lasted.”
“Well … This is not a question. I don’t know how long. It’s been going on for about 10000 years. There’s no such magical space.”
“My decision is to accept the inheritance.”
After the last question, Matthew immediately made a decision.
Since the gods had been experimenting with the fusion of gods for 10000 years, it meant that this path was feasible.
Matthew didn’t know the reasons but if he was asked to pass it on to others, he couldn’t.
One should not forget that the rest didn’t have this Gods’ Space!
This thing was unique and only belonged to him, he brought it with him when he traversed.
In this space, all energies could coexist peacefully.
Matthew and Apollo’s thoughts had been here for so long, yet there was no rejection of the energies of both sides.
If the inheritance was carried out here, was there such a possibility of success?
“Now that you’ve made your decision, I won’t say much.”
“What I’m trying to tell you is that I really hate the way you smell.”
“The noumenon gave me the order to pass it on to you, but he didn’t mention the memory aspect.”
“So, to show my disgust at you, I refuse to pass on my memory to you.”
When Apollo finished, he looked at Matthew, waiting to see a sense of loss in his eyes.
But he was disappointed as Matthew’s expression didn’t change.
For Matthew, the memory inheritance was not important.
All he saw was the Godhead of Apollo, and the rest was not that important.
Hades had given him everything else, and Matthew was afraid that the memory of Apollo in his mind would have an impact on him.
After all, there are three memories in Matthew’s mind, including his own memory.
It would be a little hard not to mess him up.
“Shall we begin?”
Matthew asked calmly, looking at Apollo’s thought.
“I hope you’re a lucky worm.”
This was the last word of Apollo’s thought left in this universe.
Then, the shadow turned into a golden arrow and shot straight at Matthew’s forehead.
Matthew didn’t hide, but opened his arms and accepted.
The golden arrow didn’t penetrate Matthew’s head as expected.
It just came close to the head and blended into a little golden halo, fusing in.
Suddenly, Matthew felt warm all over, with a warm current flowing from head to toe.
In his mind, a purple-black rhombus crystal quietly suspended. Next to it, a golden crystal was slowly forming, too.
They were the Godhead of Hades and the Godhead of Sun God!
Seeing this Godhead of Sun God gradually take shape, Matthew did not relax, but he was highly alert and his mind was highly concentrated.
After thousands of years of experiments, no one succeeded.
On this day, could this road, which no one had taken before, be taken?
All these were unknown….
