Revolution System - Chapter 55
Celes was startled, a handsome man had suddenly appeared in the castle training ground while she was practising. Something about him felt familiar.
Celes: “…Master?”
Jim: “Yeah, it’s me, Celes.”
Celes: “Master! I missed you!”
Running over, Celes hugged Jim tightly. He let everyone out of the companion storage, knowing this was a safe place. Looking at the girl hugging Jim, Xia looked down at her chest and sighed.
Jane: “Son, what’s your relationship with this girl?”
Jim: “I’ve been acting as her teacher for a while now. Celes, I need to meet with your father, can you check if he’s free?”
Celes: “Yes!”
While Celes was gone, Jim spent a minute translating and introducing everyone to each other. The foxes were delighted to meet Xia after learning she had helped save Torka. Jane felt a bit left out given how she was the only one not able to understand or speak Bahn Tai East Tongue. Jim gave everyone present the Borisa General Tongue Skill. Unfortunately he could only boost Libta’s level in the skill, and she never talks at all. He gave it to her anyway though.
When Celes returned, he gave her English and Bahn Tai East languages then boosted them as high as they could go.
Celes: “Father is available, Master. Huh? What is this?”
Jim: “I just gave you a couple of languages, be back in a bit.”
Celes looked bewildered as he walked off. Heading through the castle, Jim arrived at Gaius’ room.
Gaius: “Jim? Is that really you? Celes told me you looked different but I dind’t think it was to this degree.”
Jim: “Yeah, some stuff happened. I’ve got a favor to ask, i’ve got a lot of people who need a home. Can we found a new village on your land?”
Gaius frowned, he took a moment to think it over. “Unfortunately, I can’t help. We’re still recovering from the damage taken during the recent Surge, I can’t spare soldiers nor workers. We’re also dealing with a food shortage.”
Jim: “I can take care of that, construction, defense, and even help with your food shortage. I just need a place to set up.”
Gaius: “If you can really do this, you have my permission. Take a look at these maps, I’ll show places you can claim.”
Jim noticed a large area to the north with no settlements. “What’s with this place?”
Gaius: “The soil quality there is low, no notable resources, and it’s out of the way from established trade routes with Verdana too.”
Jim: “Alright, I’ll take it.”
Gaius: “What? Is that a joke?”
Jim: “No, I can do things with that place. Can you mark the borders of the area that you find to be useless? I may need to expand at some point.”
Gaius: “I…Alright, you have strange means. I’ll trust you to get it done.”
Jim: “I have some food I can immediately donate, where should I place it?”
Gaius: “Mm? There’s a storage area in the castle. Are you going now?”
Jim: “Yeah, see you later Gaius.”
Seeing Jim off, Gaius returned to his paperwork. Jim headed to the castle’s storage and unloaded most of the non-magical crops he had. Satisfied with the amount donated, he headed over to the training ground.
Jim: “Celes, I’m heading north to set up a village, are you coming?”
Celes: “A village…? Alright.”
Storing everyone, Jim activated Lightning Drive, the area which would be 2 days away in a carriage only took a few seconds to reach. He began using Detection to search the area. The place was just as Gaius described. With no monsters in the immediate area, Jim let everyone out of storage.
Accessing the system shop, Jim headed to the Buildings category. Although he had browsed it before, he never made any purchases. Previously he had been focused on raising Construction and Earth Magic skills, but actually building things would take too long this time.

Placing the Power Plant down first, Jim was shocked when he found it was smaller than his refrigerator at home. It just looked like a heavy brown block set on the ground, there were no slots to input materials nor cables to connect to things.
‘Can this thing really power the village? How do I even use it?’ Focusing on the block, a mental connection was formed. He could force the power plant to connect to a nearby object, the area available was rather wide. ‘Seems it’ll handle the entire village.’ Pulling out his smartphone, it was able to connect and charge remotely. ‘This is great!’
Placing the Waterworks Facility, it was another block, this one blue. Unlike the Power Plant there was a funnel on the top and faucet on the side. ‘The faucet likely dispenses water…the funnel is probably for depositing collected waste.’ Jim felt this facility could connect to things too. ‘Alright, next is…’
Jim placed a house, this one was a normal single floor building. Connecting the power plant and waterworks first, he headed inside. It was rather spacious and already fully furnished, dressers, chairs, sofas, beds with lighting and air conditioning. The kitchen had a refrigerator, sink, cabinets, and oven with stovetop. The restroom had a toilet, bath, and sink.
‘This place is pretty good.’ Jim headed back outside and placed a Storage Facility. Another block, this one was black. Pulling out a couple of items from his inventory, he connected his mind to the storage and willed it to absorb the items. ‘Mm, works similarly to inventory, I wonder if it also uses a time freeze function?’
Hydroponics placed another block, this one green. Connecting to it, Jim was shown a large area of empty farmland, taking some seeds out of his inventory, the willed them to be sown. The seeds vanished from his hand and began flying into place within the farmland.
Placing 30 more houses down, he began explaining how to use the facilities. Everyone was shocked seeing buildings just appearing from thin air. When the foxes heard the houses were for them, they were ecstatic. Bringing out 50 stone men, Jim began enhancing their bodies with the new function.
[Stone Man Puppet]

[Dexterity: 1,000]
[Vitality: 1,000]
[Agility: 1,000]
Now that they can easily kill behemoths, Jim felt comfortable leaving the defense of the village to his puppets. Looking at what he had made, Jim nodded in satisfaction. He keeps collecting people and needed somewhere to place them. After cooking a lot of food, he stored what wasn’t eaten in the village storage. Heading into one of the houses, Jim went to sleep.
