Revolution System - Chapter 75
Each of the Liches easily crumbled, their magic barriers tore apart like paper as his fist pulverised their bones. ‘The lich from before gave me so much trouble. Everything is hopeless in the face of absolute power, huh? But my technique is suffering from too many easy battles…’
After an hour, the entire horde had been annihilated. ‘I’m level 18 now, the stat gain from level ups is so much lower than cultivating and other sources. Will it improve at higher levels?’
Gathering his clones, Jim headed north. After a few minutes, he arrived at the Verdana capital. ‘What a sorry sight…’ The stone architecture had been reduced to rubble, an occasional broken bone could be spotted while wandering the cracked streets. The air felt heavy and foreboding, as though walking into a predator’s den.
Wisps of pale green mana could be spotted by the naked eye every so often. Jim made his way to the north end of the city, the crypt he had cleared out before was now inhabited by a dozen liches. ‘Why are they converging here? It’s like this place is a magnet for undead.’
Descending to the same room Jim had fought the incomplete lich before, a disgusting sight was before him. Energy was pouring out of six crystals, congealing together into a mass of rotten flesh. His divine senses allowed him to see what was happening, the 6 liches he had killed before were currently forming new bodies to inhabit. ‘Appraise’

‘I see, so these are phylacteries. Seems they won’t be back to full strength immediately though.’ Jim destroyed all the liches roaming around the place, but left the phylacteries intact. ‘If I could copy the functions and apply them to living creatures…’ Unfortunately, the phylacteries were rejecting being placed in either inventory or companion storage. Jim decided to leave them here for now, along with a clone to study them. The entrance to the crypt was mostly sealed to prevent any undead from sneaking out, but allowing airflow for the Jim clone left inside.
‘Alright, crisis diverted. Looks like I’m going back to Earth tomorrow, guess I’ll bring Celes and Suzuki along.’ Using Lightning Drive, it didn’t take long to get back to Amgula.
Jim seperated his clone from himself, he intended to leave one in Amgula and one in his city. ‘I really need to come up with a name for the city I created, it isn’t a small village that can remain nameless anymore. It seems people have just been calling it the northern city so far. Naming it after myself seems kind of…no, just no. I originally set it up as a place to put anybody I rescued that didn’t have a home, how about…Haven?’
Heading to the castle, Jim noticed many of the residents were terrified. They could tell a battle was happening to the east but didn’t know how it was going, the lingering fear that they’d be facing down thousands of monsters in a short time was evident. Jim hurried to the castle in order to report his success
