Ring Of Fate - Volume 1 Chapter 65 Loss?
There were fists everywhere; Long Yang got a little flurried at the beginning as he was unable to tell the truth from the false. He calmed down and recalled his new skill.
“Turn on the slow motion of Clairvoyant,” he read silently. His eyes heated up, and Zhao Fengyang’s moves became slow motions in his eyes.
Ignoring the ghost images, Long punched Zhao right in his fists.
Bang!
The shadows of fists disappeared; Zhao staggered backwards again.
Zhao Xiaoyu widened her eyes as she didn’t expect Long to crack Lieyang Boxing so easily.
Long pursued Zhao Fengyang in retreat. He dashed to Zhao, attacking him with his fists and legs.
Zhao hadn’t used Inner Force yet, and this meant he hadn’t tried his utmost.
Long attacked Zhao’s vital points with the help of Clairvoyant. Though his moves were not a delight to watch, but they were effective and efficient. Zhao backed up again and again.
Zhao Xiaoyu’s jaw went slack; she couldn’t believe what she saw.
“Will my brother lose to Long Yang?” she asked herself in her mind.
Then she realized Zhao Fengyang hadn’t used Inner Force yet. Once he used Inner Force, he would turn the tables.
There was no space for Zhao Fengyang to retreat anymore. If he didn’t use Inner Force now, he would lose to Long. He treated Long as a student and had planned to give directions to him. He didn’t expect Long to be so powerful that he was no match for him even with Lieyang Boxing.
Martial artists don’t want to lose. So…
Zhao straightened himself and took a deep breath.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
He hit Long right in his fists. Long retreated; his arms numbing. He realized Zhao started using Inner Force.
He shook his arms to alleviate the pain. He didn’t want to use Inner Force; he planned to search for the flaws of Zhao with the slow motion of Clairvoyant.
Zhao took it for granted that he would win after using Inner Force. However, Long changed his way of attacking.
Long dodged Zhao’s attacks with flexible steps and attacked his weak points from time to time. Zhao felt weird that Long was able to see through his movements.
Bang!
Long’s right fist went through Zhao’s attacks and hit him on the stomach, sending him lurching backwards with a yelp. He didn’t steady himself until he took five steps back.
Long was about to attack Zhao again, but the latter shouted, “Stop!”
“Brother lost to Long Yang!” Zhao Xiaoyu couldn’t believe her eyes.
Long stopped and made a salute to Zhao Fengyang, “Mr. Zhao, thank you for your guidance.”
After a short pause, Zhao said with an awkward expression, “I wanted to give you directions, but I didn’t expect you to be so powerful. If you practiced Inner Force, you would be more competent.”
“You are flattering me,” Long said modestly.
Zhao shook his head. “Don’t be so modest. Martial artists must be confident of themselves.”
There was a pause and then he added, “You seem to have mastered Huyue Step. I remember Xiaoyu taught you Huyue Step not long ago. You are such a genius!”
Long opened his mouth, trying to be self-effacing, but he bit back his words as Zhao just told him to be confident. He scratched his hair, giving a shy smile.
