Rise of The Anti God - Chapter 735: You Already Lost
“You…” Milo gritted his teeth as his face burned in shame and anger. He never expected to get his ass handed over to him in such a humiliating way.
He could feel the gazes of the people landing on him and couldn’t even bear to look at them. He tried to free himself, but the earth had trapped his limbs to the ground firm enough. Even if he managed to free himself within a few seconds, it doesn’t matter since if it was a ghoul standing before him, he already would have been dead.
“Yuria for the win!” Farah announced with a subtle smile as everyone looked at Yuria in shock.
They all felt how her aura suddenly surged to the point most of them felt affected by it. The fact that Milo himself got blasted away because of it just goes to show how greatly Yuria’s strength increased momentarily.
But they had no idea that Yuria could have maintained that strength for a lot longer. She just reverted back to her original cultivation since she had already won.
Gunner frowned, not expecting Milo to get defeated instantly as well. This was not only bad for Milo but for their team as a whole since the news would definitely spread that two of his members got wrecked by newcomers, especially those weaker than them.
But he was still confused about one thing. He sensed Yuria’s cultivation rapidly increasing to the point it surpassed well beyond the Lower Levels of the Profound Ethereal Realm. However, it only lasted for a second and so he couldn’t tell if he imagined it or not since it would be impossible for a cultivator to suddenly increase their cultivation.
“Her cultivation actually reached the Fourth Level of the Profound Ethereal Realm?” Alex mumbled with a stupefied look, not expecting something so shocking. Even increasing a single level of someone’s cultivation temporarily was considered impossible.
But five levels was just mind-blowing. Even if she were to reach the first level of the Prime Ethereal Realm, she could be a force to reckon with.
Kena smiled as she said, “We only saw a glimpse of her true prowess. Didn’t Farah say that she is also capable of many other things as well?”
Alex looked at her as she said, “I only took her words with a pinch of salt since Farah likes to exaggerate things a lot, but this time I feel as if she played down their prowess. I think you did the right thing by taking them in. Maybe our people can finally hope for a better future.”
“It’s still too early to hope, but…that’s what we all look forward to, I guess,” Kena said with a pensive expression.
“Milo, get out of here,” Farah said with a casual wave of her hand as he slowly got up with a disgruntled look and walked away with his head lowered.
“Now. Next up will be Becca versus Reva. You two, come on,” Farah clapped as Reva and Becca came to the center.
Becca wasn’t looking as smug as before since, by now, she felt that these four women weren’t ordinary. Even if they were born in luxury and safety, she felt as if these women were shrouded in a certain mystery.
Not only her but everyone else was feeling the same thing. The men were enamored by the prowess the two beauties showed and were now even more excited to see if the other two beauties would surprise them or not.
Still, some couldn’t help but worry for this sapphire-haired beauty since Becca was said to have killed a lot of ghouls, even those having the same cultivation as hers. Everybody knew that ghouls inherently were stronger than an ethereal cultivator with the same cultivation. This was why Becca was considered the second strongest after Gunner.
Reva simply stood with crossed arms as her cold, and elegant aura made Becca wrinkle her nose as she asked after taking out a long saber, “Do you think you can take me down easily like the other two?” Becca already sensed that Reva was an ice cultivator and decided to play it safe by maintaining some distance and keeping a close eye on her ethereal energy flow to make sure she won’t get taken by surprise. She found it shameful that she was being so careful against someone weaker than her.
Reva’s azure eyes narrowed as she said, “You already lost.”
“Eh?” Becca’s expression became puzzled, but then her eyes shook as she looked down with a shocked look.
“No…no…No way! Arghh!!” Becca cried out as she saw two giant ice spikes sticking out of her feet as if they magically appeared there.
Don’t move, Becca! You will just hurt yourself more!” Gunner shouted as he saw Becca lose her cool, but he couldn’t exactly blame her since anybody would feel shocked by her situation.
“Reva wins! Somebody, please carry her away before her feet become crippled,” Farah said with a look of pity as some people came and carried away a mortified Becca.
“That was…manipulation of Spatial Law? I thought only a rare few among the strongest experts could do that. How could someone as young as her manage to comprehend such complex laws?” Alex asked as she felt even more hopeful about how much better things would become for them because of these four women.
“Interesting…Only someone of the level of the Executor could do something like this. All these four are geniuses blessed by the heavens. We have to make sure nothing happens to them till they reach their full potential. They could very well turn the tide of this never-ending war,” Kena said with a narrowed gaze.
“Next up is Valentina and Gunner. Gunner, come on. What’s wrong with you?” Farah asked as she saw Gunner standing in the same spot with a stiff expression.
Valentina was already standing in the middle while licking her sharp nails, though her blood-red eyes were piercing into Gunner’s soul.
Gunner felt a cold chill slowly crawling down his spine as he clasped his hands and shouted in a shaken voice, “I-I surrender!”
