Rise Of Void Dragons - Chapter 24
Without love, the process will fail and the princess will die because of me.
And with love, I’ll be betraying Qiqi. Wouldn’t I?
Wang Ming was trapped in an internal dilemma, again. He’ll feel guilty whichever path he chooses. He really can’t understand how he got involved in this bloody mess?!
Aahh.. he screamed internally. Not knowing what to do, and what to choose.
“Little Ming, think what your Qiqi, in heaven, wishes you to do?” At that time, a voice sounded in his mind directly. And he recognised this voice instantly. This was the voice of Elder Chen, the high priest of the Ning Clan.
Heck! I forgot anyone can read my thoughts here.
He hurriedly lifted his face and saw Elder Chen smiling at him. And another message from him sounded in his mind, “Don’t worry, except me, no one is able to listen to your thoughts right now. Make your decision fast and correctly.”
In response, Wang Ming just nodded his head and started thinking again.
What will Qiqi want me to do?
She was kind-hearted, sweet and caring. She will always wish for my happiness, but where’s my happiness? Isn’t it with her? How can I be happy with someone else?
But, she was also caring towards everyone. And if she was here and knew that I didn’t help someone even if there was a chance for me to do so, she would have surely severed all her relations with me.
Dammit! This is getting more confusing!
Another ten minutes passed and then after going through an intense internal battle, he slowly lifted up his face and said, “I agree with the marriage proposal under one condition. I need to know the true feelings of the princess. I don’t want to meddle in anyone’s life.”
Subconsciously, he even ignored his own principle of never getting involved in someone’s life.
Seeing Wang Ming agreeing to the proposal, Elder Chen heaved a sigh of relief. He was able to see through his thoughts and thus he knew about his intense love for the girl name Luo Qiqi.
Other elders also relaxed with this outcome.
“Obviously, I won’t agree to the marriage if my daughter denies this proposal.” Ning Qiang also spoke and then he commanded Secretary Song, “Song Chao, go bring Jinying here.”
“As you wish.” Song Chao bowed down in respect and then left the underground office.
….
Ning Corporation Residential Area, Villa Number 1.
Song Chao swiftly reached this place from the office in a black, bulletproof Range Rover.
Exiting his vehicle, he entered the villa.
Inside the main hall of the Villa, a middle-aged woman, who looked remarkably attractive with a good body and similarly beautiful face, was sitting on the sofa, watching TV.
While a girl who probably just passed her teens, possessing a petite and weak-looking body, with a beautiful face, was lying on the lap of the woman, sleeping on the sofa.
The girl lying down on the sofa opened her eyes and first looked at the TV and then she faced the beautiful woman’s face and asked softly in a sweet voice, “Mom, where’s dad? Why isn’t he back for dinner?”
The woman looked at the girl on her lap and laughed a bit, while stroking the girl’s long black hair, “Jinying, you are hungry again? It’s still some hours for dinner. Your dad will arrive by then.”
“Hehe” Jinying laughed and sat up on the sofa.
“You brat, what will you do after you get married? Will you ask your husband to make food every now and then?” The woman chuckled and asked.
“Yeah, why not? If someone is ready to marry me, he should know how to cook, or else I won’t marry him.” Jinying also chuckled livelily.
Her mother looked at the laughing little girl in front of her and said, “Are you trying to make me jealous? But that won’t be possible. Do you think there are men in our clan who can cook?”
“Just because Dad and brother in law can’t cook, it doesn’t mean that there aren’t any good men. Humph.” She humphed and pouted, knowing what her mother said was true.
At this time, Song Chao’s entered the hall. He bowed on the side and said, “Princess Jinying, His majesty is calling you to the elder conference.”
