Rise Of Void Dragons - Chapter 27
Wang Ming turned towards the source of the voice and saw a petite girl in her early twenties, wearing a beautiful black frock, standing beside Ning Qiang.
Along with the girl was a beautiful woman, wearing a green qipao, looking straight at him.
However beautiful the duo was, Wang Ming’s didn’t show any kind of expressions on his face, neither his thoughts wandered anywhere. He just looked at them for a while and turned towards Elder Chen beside him and asked, “Elder Chen, who are they?”
“Who else they can be? They are your future wife and mother in law.” Elder Chen chuckled lightly and introduced him.
The information Elder Chen passed down to Wang Ming also contained some basic information about the Ning Clan, thus after getting a confirmation, Wang Ming easily concluded their identities.
The beautiful mature lady standing there must be the queen of The Void Dragon Clan, Ning Rong.
And the beautiful petite girl who was standing in between Ning Qiang and Ning Rong should be the second princess of the clan. Princess Ning Jinying.
However, even after concluding their identities, he didn’t go there to greet them or to have a talk with them. He just stood in his place and closed his eyes to decide his next course of action. Even though he looks calm on the surface, internally he was as chaotic as a hurricane. How can a young man not be anxious when he was talking about marriage?
He needs to think about so many things.
….
“Are you sure? I already told you, if you have anyone else in your mind or if you just don’t want to get married, you can tell me. There’s no need to make your choice in consideration of my decision.” Ning Qiang said solemnly.
He also didn’t expect his daughter to agree with his decision so easily.
What was going on? How are youngsters nowadays so casual about marriage?
“Yes, I am sure of my choice. I agree with the father’s decision.” Ning Jinying answered resolutely. Her eyes glowed in a deep golden colour despite her pale and weak-looking face.
Ning Qiang was at a loss of words, he didn’t know that his daughter trusts him so much.
“MhmmOk then, I’ll let you meet with your future husband.” Ning Qiang said and then beckoned towards Wang Ming, “Little Ming, come here. Jinying is ready to get married to you.”
Wang Ming opened his eyes, walked towards Ning Qiang and his family along with Elder Chen, and spoke solemnly, “I still want to be sure. I want to have a talk with her privately.”
“You don’t believe me?” Ning Qiang’s expressions turned ugly.
This newborn dragon doesn’t trust him?
“Chairman Ning, it’s not like that. I just want to be sure of myself. I can’t just pop into anyone’s life without knowing them or them knowing me.” Wang Ming shook his head and said calmly. He still wasn’t used to his identity as a dragon or Ning Qiang’s identity as a king, thus he still referred to him as Chairman Ning of Ning Corporation. Anyways, who will still call people ‘master’ in this age and time apart from Song Chao? If anyone else listens, they’ll surely connect it to some weird fetishes.
“It’s ok, I agree with it,” Ning Qiang was about to deny him when Ning Rong interjected and turned towards Ning Jinying, but she found her standing in a daze.
“Huh? Jinying what happened?” Thinking that her injuries might have appeared up again, she patted her shoulders.
“Ah!” Ning Jinying woke up from her daze and asked, pointing towards Wang Ming, “Aren’t you infamous, Crazy Romeo of Nan Hai University?”
‘Heck!’ Wang Ming cried out and his calm, emotionless face crumbled down.
Even though he knew that this name of him was famous throughout the Nan Hai University, he didn’t think that he’d be famous to this extent.
Even the princess of a dragon clan knows about this.
“That’s me,” he can’t hide and thus agreed awkwardly. All the courage he had gathered up to have a private talk with her flowed down the drain.
Ning Qiang and Ning Rong weren’t any good either. In the document about Wang Ming, they already got to know about this.
But, how did their daughter learn about this?
Feeling the questioning gazes of everyone, Ning Jinying’s face reddened and she shyly covered her small face with her hands, whilst her sweetly shy voice answered, “My friend showed me your photo. She’s a student at Nan Hai University.”
But this answer crushed Wang Ming even more brutally, ‘Dammit! Students are even circulating my photos and spreading my name? I’ll have to stop this.’
Even though he doesn’t mind other’s thinking about him, he still doesn’t want his name to become infamous throughout the city.
