Rise Of Void Dragons - Chapter 29
All the time up until now, she was thinking of Want Ming as a normal human, even her vision didn’t go off too much and thus she did not see the scales on Wang Ming’s hand.
“But, wait! He should have awakened his dragon spirit a long time ago when he was born. He should be about 23 years right now? Why is it happening right now?” Her thoughts started roaming around not being able to understand the situation of Wang Ming and variety of questions popped up in her mind.
Usually, dragon spirit awakening occurs when the child is around one year old. But, even if it gets delayed, it should at most take five years.
“It’s like this. Little Ming just awakened his Ancestral Dragon Bloodline. So he was converted to a dragon just yesterday.” Ning Qiang explained roughly, knowing his daughter’s doubts.
“Awakened his bloodline? Can anyone really awaken their ancestral bloodline?” Ning Jinying just became even more confused.
This is unscientific!
Awakening one’s ancestral bloodline isn’t something that can happen anytime one wants. It’s a powerful phenomenon going against the laws of heavens. So, how in the world did this man in front of her awaken his bloodline?
“It’s like this…” Knowing that he can’t hide anything from his daughter anymore, Ning Qiang told everything to her.
“He ate Dragon God Fruit?!” Ning Jinying’s petite body trembled as she gazed at the man lying down by her feet.
This was a fruit that could have cured her ailments but now it’s gone like that? And it even awakened the ancestral bloodline of someone who accidentally ate it, thinking it was normal Dragon Fruit?
Are heavens playing something?
But, still she can’t change anything.
In the end, she’ll still die. She can’t believe that anyone can achieve a high cultivation level so fast. Even the crazy genius people in their clan can’t do that, let alone this new dragon.
She can’t blame him for eating the fruit, she can’t blame him for not being a super fast cultivator. She can just blame her luck and life. Heavens don’t want her alive, what can mere dragons or humans do?
At this time, sensing her damping mood, Elder Chen’s voice came, “Princess Jinying, you should hold the hands of Little Ming. Leaking dragon spirit energy from him will be beneficial for you.”
“Hold his hands?” Jinying’s took a step back in shock as her face instantly turned red and hot; she looked around and then turned towards her parents.
She was still a young girl…
Ning Rong laughed at her daughter’s expressions, “Go ahead. It’s just holding his hands, you are already going to marry him anyway. Why are you hesitating?”
Ning Qiang didn’t say anything and just nodded in approval. Anyways, it’s good if it can cure his daughter a little, giving them some more time; just a bit more time can change her destiny.
Ning Jinying’s face reddened further upon getting prompted by her parents.
Since her birth, due to her injury, she rarely goes outside her house, not to mention coming in contact with males. She was inexperienced and young.
But since she was being actively prompted by her parents and elders for her own benefits, she bit her lips and crouched down on the ground, besides Wang Ming and slowly held his hands.
As soon as she touched his hands, a sudden warm feeling started wrapping her soul, actively repairing some of the small damaged parts.
Soon, she started feeling like she was in a warm spring. Relaxing and enjoying her life.
This warmness made her wish that time should just stop here. And she can just feel this warmness forever and ever, just like this. This was a unique feeling for her.
Unknowingly, in ecstasy, her grip over the hand of Wang Ming tightened. And, subconsciously in response, Wang Ming, in his state of a deep sleep, grasped her small hand tightly, with their fingers interlocking with each other. Not letting the small hand escape from his grip.
And as if a circuit was completed, more and more warmth filled Ning Jinying’s consciousness. Healing her wounds even more rapidly. And she suddenly felt her lifespan is increasing slowly.
Is this an illusion?
This scene from everyone else’s perspective was equally soothing. The sight of the princess and her future husband holding hands for the first time was really peaceful and lovely. But, they did not stare for long and turned around to let the new couple enjoy themselves.
Everything was going peacefully until a loud cry echoed in the entire room, making everyone tremble subconsciously.
“Qiqi, don’t leave me alone. Take me with you”
