Rise Of Void Dragons - Chapter 30

The cry was so powerful and sorrowful that even the souls of the strongest dragons of the clan trembled in pain as if resonating with the cry and sorrow contained in it.

Jinying, who was closest to the source of the cry, Wang Ming, was thrown back to reality from her warm spring-like illusion. She hurriedly untangled her hand from Wang Ming’s and tried to back down to another corner of the room.

But, her soul was already injured and thus this sudden trembling made her faint before she could rush away from her position. She laid down on the ground beside Wang Ming.

Ning Rong and Ning Qiang panicked seeing the situation and were about to rush ahead and bring back their daughter when they heard the voice of the high priest, Elder Chen.

“Don’t move forward! It might even harm her further. This this is elemental awakening. The element of Darkness.”

Elder Chen’s voice shuddered as he spoke but this also showed the intent of disbelief and excitement in his voice.

This is unscientific!

“What?! The Dark element?” Everyone was shocked as if they saw an elephant flying in the sky by flapping its ears.

Every dragon in the world possesses an inborn elemental power. And this decides their path of cultivation.

This elemental power awakens alongside dragon spirit awakening and was a pretty common thing.

But what shocked them was the nature of the element awakened by Wang Ming. There are a total of six elemental powers in dragons.

First four are collectively known as Natural Elemental powers, namely, Fire, Water, Earth and Metal. They are common elements and can be found on anyone.

The remaining two are known as Supreme Elemental powers, namely, Light and Dark.

The last two elements aren’t named Supreme just for fun. They are really the most powerful elements present in the world. And the dragons with these powers will become greatest amongst their kin.

And the reason, The Void Dragon Clan, even after being the smallest dragon clan is still the strongest clan amongst the three dragon clans is because of the existence of two individuals with Supreme Elemental powers.

And, Elder Chen is one of them. He possesses the element of Light.

Reverting back from her shocked state, Ning Rong asked with a golden glow in her eyes, “Elder Chen, are you sure?”

“Yes, my queen. I dare not lie to you. It’s really the element of darkness. I can feel the strong opposition of the elemental power.” Elder Chen replied with a similar glow in his eyes.

“It’s good that it happened in this protected room. Or else some other clans might have captured Little Ming.” Ning Qiang was worried about his daughter but was still thinking rationally and he pointed out the most important thing.

As said in legends, It’s not difficult to find a treasure. It’s difficult to keep it secured.

And that’s what happened in the case of Dragon God Fruit.

Everyone came to realisation and nodded in approval.

“King, High Priest, we need to keep prince consort safe.” Elder Guo from earlier spoke. And, what was interesting was his use of words.

Instead of using the word ‘brat’ he was using to refer to Wang Ming, he already changed his form of address to ‘Prince Consort’, accepting him in the clan already.

“Yes, we need to protect him.” Other elders joined in too.

They can’t let this treasure go! When he grows stronger then Void Dragon Clan will also grow stronger.

Losing Dragon God Fruit in exchange of a Supreme Elemental seed is worth it!

Elder Chen chuckled and waved his hands, “Everyone can calm down. Just like my Light Elemental Power, Dark Elemental Power can also hide easily, unless we don’t use them actively. So as long as Little Ming cultivates diligently and does not get involved in fights, where he needs to showcase his elemental powers, he’ll be safe till he is capable of protecting himself.”

“Oh.. it’s good then.” Everyone relaxed.

While they were busy talking, Ning Jinying and Wang Ming both woke up from their sleep. And seeing each other sleeping side by side, their faces tuned crimson in embarrassment and hurriedly stood up from the ground.
