Rise Of Void Dragons - Chapter 31
After waking up, Wang Ming asked about what happened and got to know everything about elemental powers and their awakening. He was also instructed about the precautions he should take, in order to hide his elemental powers, along with the dangers of exposing his elemental powers.
After all of this was done, Elder Chen and everyone else present in the room, passed all the cultivation techniques in their possession, to him, and asked him to read through them thoroughly, after returning home and start practising one of them, which he feels will suit him more.
Afterall choosing a cultivation technique is a matter of affinity. Without affinity, even extreme hard work won’t give any result.
“Cough Cough, Now we should discuss the purpose of our gathering, Little Ming and Jinying’s marriage.” Elder Chen attracted everyone’s attention back to the original track.
“Yes,” Ning Rong chuckled and stroked her daughter’s head, who was shyly hiding her face in Ning Qiang’s embrace.
“Little Ming, where are your parents? Tell us, we will have a talk with them, about your marriage.” Ning Rong asked. Even if Wang Ming has already agreed for the marriage, his parents are yet to agree. They, as the parents of the bride, should go and have a talk with them. This should be human customs, right?
“Ermm Aunty, They aren’t in the country as of now. And they’ll return after a month.” Wang Ming first struggled with the form of address he should use and then eventually he decided to go with ‘aunty’, and then answered.
Wang Ming started living alone after the accident of Luo Qiqi’s death, believing he is cursed and he might involve his parents if he lives with them. Thus, his parents started to busy themselves with their work and they only meet when they are in the country.
“Uh? They aren’t here? But we can’t delay your marriage by a month. There’s an important event after a month and we will be stuck in its preparation.” Ning Rong became worried. She really doesn’t want to delay this marriage, in case something bad happens and it might just ruin everything.
“Aunty, we can go ahead with the wedding. There isn’t any problem with my parents. Rather they will be happy for sure after seeing this change after my condition for the past two years.” Wang Ming said awkwardly, rubbing his head.
“Are you sure?” Ning Rong’s eyes lit up but she still reconfirmed.
“Yes,” Wang Ming replied affirmatively.
“It’s fixed then. Tomorrow morning, we’ll gather at our house for the traditional marriage ceremony of dragons, and after that, we will go to the civil marriage bureau for official marriage registration.” Ning Rong, acting as the supreme authority, planned everything immediately and announced.
“We have to go for registration tomorrow itself?” Wang Ming asked confusedly. He thought that just traditional marriage will do for now, and he can register their marriage after a month when his parents arrive.
“Oh, it’s to avoid any troubles from human authorities.” Guessing his thoughts, Ning Rong answered.
“Ok then.” Wang Ming just agreed to it. Since what she spoke was reasonable.
“Song Chao, drop Little Ming to his university and tomorrow pick him up from the university at 10 am.” Ning Qiang commanded his servant.
Wang Ming did not reject this because he really doesn’t know how to get back to university at this time from here and how to arrive at Ning Residence tomorrow morning. And thus, he finally left the underground room along with Secretary Song.
However, at the time his figure was yet to depart, and the elevator door was yet to close, a head poked out from Ning Qiang’s embrace and secretly looked at him.
Seeing this Ning Rong and several elders burst out laughing.
….
Wang Ming reached his university at 8 o’clock.
The moon was shining brightly in the sky, while stars were twinkling constantly like party lights in clubs.
Wang Ming gazed at the sky and sighed. This day changed his life completely.
And proceeded towards his dorm room lazily.
