Roll Land System: Release That Rock - Chapter 12
“Master Seamus, the marble isn’t responding at all. Are you sure it’s not a sham now? Personally, I believe the Prince was conned by some merchant.” Master Henry remarked.
Master Seamus stroked his beard and put down Rocky. Master Seamus said, “Indeed. Still, like I said earlier, he is still a Prince. We should at least investigate whether or not it transformed into a different material.”
Master Henry gave a cold chuckle and said, “Does he really think this piece of marble is like the philosopher’s stone or something?”
Master Seamus said, “Enough. Although you only recently become a Master Alchemist you still need to behave like one.” Master Seamus clapped his hands and a young teenager dressed in dark alchemist robes approached Master Seamus respectfully.
Master Seamus passed to him Rocky and instructed him, “Bring him to my laboratory and make sure you don’t lose him. I’ll conduct a test on it later.”
The teenager Alchemist nodded and picked up the box Rocky was in. After he left, Master Henry asked Master Seamus, “How long will you ‘investigate’ that piece of marble? With the conditions His Highness set upon us I doubt we can conduct many tests.”
Master Seamus sighed and said, “I could try to find a bit of its physical properties such as chipping it a tiny bit and testing with that small piece.”
Master Henry smiled, “When are you going to test it? I have an experiment going on right now regarding the manipulation of the rocks in God’s Locket of Retribution. You can join if you want.”
Master Seamus smiled in turn and said, “Alright. I’ll help. I can work on the piece of marble tomorrow.” The two masters then left the room.

A few hours later, inside Master Henry’s laboratory, Master Henry and Master Seamus were carefully tinkering with the rocks inside God’s Locket of Retribution. They were discussing possible methods to change its shape. On the lab table in front of them were strewn the rocks inside God’s Locket of Retribution of various sizes and shapes. Behind them, observing intendedly, were a few students carefully seeing the things the two masters were doing.
Master Seamus was muttering, “Perhaps if we try melting it and reforming it Could we create swords and weapons with it? Naturally, with its quantity, it must be small weapons, but it should be possible.”
Master Henry was also muttering beside him, “Maybe after melting them and making them a larger piece, could we make God’s Locket of Retribution more efficient as well?”
As they were in their deep thoughts, they were interrupted by a loud bang. Master Henry cursed and said, “Did you not see the sign outside saying that we are undergoing an experiment? What if it was something dangerous? That loud noise could have disturbed the material and caused it to explode!”
By the doorway, covered in sweat, was the young alchemist Master Seamus entrusted Rocky too. The young alchemist said in between gasps of breath, “Pardon me, masters. Something has happened.”
