Roll Land System: Release That Rock - Chapter 20
With the lever pulled, the demonic lottery began to spin again. This time it stopped at nothing? Rocky asked angrily, “What is this? Nothing? The slot machine came out blank? Are you trying to rip me off here?”
The Roll-Land system systematically replied, “Congratulations! User: Rocky received an invisible carpet demon!”
Rocky’s ‘eyebrow’ twitched, “A what now? Are you just coming up with things as you go along?”
The Roll-land system ignored the second question and said, “The invisible carpet demon is a demon that did not exist on this planet. Originally, it was an ordinary cloth carpet. However, during its creation, a Demon Miasma crystal was dropped into it causing it to become a demon after it was made into a carpet. Unfortunately, after it became a demon, it did not possess much knowledge and accidentally fell into a Holy Pool of Invisible Water.”
Rocky felt like punching the system at this point, “Really? Couldn’t you come up with a better story? A Holy Pool of Invisible Water? Isn’t that just air?”
The Roll-land system stopped answering Rocky’s questions and went silent. Rocky sighed and “stared” at the invisible carpet demon. Exasperated, he asked the system, “Could you at least tell me if its fireproof with its “Invisible Water” that it was soaked in? Also, could it keep the environment at a cooler temperature longer?”
The Roll-land system buzzed, “Affirmative.”
Rocky smiled and laughed, “This could work! This could work!”
Zero glanced at the other two witches who nodded in return. Zero walked forward towards the center of the forge filled with molten hot flames and magma. Zero muttered, “Here goes. It had better be the philosopher’s stone.”
Zero then carefully tossed Rocky straight into the center of the burning forge. One of the witches by her side remarked, “What if it isn’t really the philosopher’s stone?”
Zero gave a chilling smile and said, “Then it seems like the Alchemists Workshop would no longer deserves a place in this world.”
As Rocky fell he hurriedly told the Roll-land system, “Summon the invisible carpet demon!”
Rocky willed the summoned invisible carpet demon to wrap around him as he fell inside the forge. As soon as he was dipped inside the forge, all he could see was red. Inside, Rocky laughed maniacally, “I’m fine! It’s all nice and cool when wrapped inside the invisible carpet demon! I’m not melted!”
After a few seconds of celebration and elation, the Roll-land system notified Rocky, “User: Rocky should note that the Holy Invisible Water contained in the invisible carpet demon is currently evaporating.” Suddenly, Rocky felt the temperature go up exponentially. He was burning up and if he were human, he would be sweating buckets at the moment.
After a few more seconds, Rocky felt like he was an egg on a frying pan. The heat was excruciatingly painful and Rocky could not even muster the strength to cry.
