Runaway Rich Guys Love Endeavour - Chapter 53:Shine
Ye-Jin only shook her head at Ray’s query. She had enough time to think things through while running (somehow) and she decided against disclosing anything to the guys.
She didn’t wish to pull them into a mess which she even wasn’t sure how she got into.
Ye-Jin: I just ran here-
Ray: why?
Ye-Jin: (inhaling) I lost my way while coming back and time was running out so I had to run.
Ray: (flicking her forehead) idiot! You got me worried for nothing
Vic: are you sure she got you worried? Wasn’t it you, who didn’t even want to let her leave from your sight even for a moment?!
Kai: (holding in his laughter) for the first time in five years Vic, you’ve finally said something that actually makes sense.
Timo: When did you grow those brain cells our dear baby?
Vic: big bro that was rude! What have I ever done to you?
Mui: (clearing his throat) guys? there’s a lady present here.
Kai: (scratching his head) oh right! thanks for reminding us, Mui.
With that gentle reminder from Mui, the guys finally (for the last time) straightened out. They were a chaotic bunch and it was hard for them to control their primal instincts of bantering and pulling each other’s legs.
Ray could only sigh but he too was not any better. Just because he was with his lady friend, he was a little restrained.
Ray: (turning to Ye-Jin) sorry for the earlier chaos Jin! This is my group, which you so badly wanted to meet.
Ye-Jin was a little embarrassed when Ray introduced her like that. How shameless of him to expose her so blatantly.
Ray: (oblivious) And guys this is Ye-Jin which you’ve been asking about a lot too.
Timo: (snorting) We weren’t asking. You were talking- a lot! Hello Ye-Jin, it’s nice to meet you.
Ye-Jin: (waving her fingers) hello Timo, nice meeting you again.
Timo: I really had a great time with you, hope we could hang out more.
Ye-Jin: (nodding) same here.
Kai: (confused) what’re you people talking about?
Timo: (rolling his eyes) we have similar interests that’s all.
Mui: (snickering) then Ray needs to stay
vigilant around you.
Vic: hello I am the awfully bullied youngest member of this group.
Ye-Jin: (chuckling) I don’t think they bully you to the extent you bully them, Vic.
Mui: (swatting his head) nobody’s blind here! Hey Ye-Jin, I am Mui.
Ye-Jin happily reciprocated the greetings and she was eager to get her hands on their autographs. She had thrown the previous incident to the back of her mind for the time being.
Since none of them had had breakfast they asked Ye-Jin to join them. She wanted to refuse but her grumbling stomach gave her away. Even if it hadn’t, Ray still wouldn’t have let her leave without having any food.
Thus, she got to dine with 5-Emperor’s!
Not many had this privilege. At least not every fan did. She was lucky enough to have met Ray through Aera and had gotten her hands on this opportunity.
After the breakfast, it was almost time for the meeting the guys had scheduled. Ray was reluctant to send her alone. He was still behaving like a mother hen.
After some coaxing and reassuring on Ye-Jin’s part he finally agreed- albeit reluctantly.
It was a good thing that Ray didn’t accompany her on the trip back as she planned to meet Aera.
After visiting the company for several times in the past months with Aera, Ye-Jin now had a rough idea as to where her friend would be at that given time. The guys were all preparing for their tour and thus Aera would be with her group preparing for the same.
Call it luck or something else but Aera was chosen to be Ray’s dance partner for this tour and Ye-Jin was unaware of it.
After losing her way thrice and asking for directions twice Ye-Jin somehow made it to the room where the group was already practising.
Ye-Jin stood by the door waiting for Aera to wrap up. Just by looking at the level of the choreography, Ye-Jin could tell that it was beautiful. She couldn’t help but admire how her friend- Aera shined when she was dancing. She often felt that Aera was born for it.
Meanwhile two girls who were also idling around near the door watching the routine were whispering to each other. In the beginning their voices were low and barely audible to others but as time passed their whispers turned loud enough for Ye-Jin’s ears to get a whiff of what they were discussing and by the sound of it the girls seemed excited about whatever they were discussing.
