RWBY Re: Jaune Arc - Chapter 16
As Jaune, Ruby, and Pyrrha stood at the entrance to the cave, Jaune went ahead and used his level token to purchase a skill, ‘Aggravate: Able to amplify negative emotions and draw the attention of the Grimm in the area.’
Ruby picked a skill as well, ‘Reaper’s Dash: Increase speed by 15% for ten minutes; 20-Minute cooldown.’
Pyrrha selected an Aura +25 boost and felt a warm sensation as if she were bathing in sunlight as she said, “This really is amazing Jaune, if we continue to grow like this, then can you imagine how strong we’ll be when we graduate?”
Jaune gave a laugh as he started to walk into the cave, “Stay close, and take out any Grimm you see.”
The two nodded their heads, as they started to walk forward, Jaune used his Aura to brighten up the area, “I wonder how far this tunnel goes.” Ruby said scratching her head.
Jaune smiled and said, “If there are any Grimm here, then they be coming out any second, stay on guard.”
Trying out his new ability, Jaune activated his Aggravation Skill and felt his body give off a gloomy emotion, they continued to make their way deeper into the cave, Jaune was beginning to think that the skill wasn’t working when Pyrrha shattered that illusion, “Um, is it me, or are the walls moving?”
Jaune looked around and suddenly lifted his shield in time to block a glowing stinger that was headed for his face, the impact sent him sliding back a few feet, giving him enough time to study the target.
Jaune saw dozens of smaller Deathstalkers that were around half the size of a standard humanoid, like Ruby said, their constant movement Jaune immediately swung his sword behind himself and sliced a Deathstalker that lunged out from behind him in half, “Young Death Stalker Killed; +20 Experience gained.”
Jaune grinned, “Back up and stand in ‘side by side’ formation!”
Ruby and Pyrrha moved back far enough to where there was nothing behind them. After they stood in a line, their bodies blocked out the entire width of the tunnel, with their weapons drawn, Jaune shouted, “Attack!”
Jaune stood in front so that every one of the Grimm attacked him first, Jaune stayed strong as he cut and blocked every attack with ease, they then started to cut and shoot down their targets left and right, Jaune was ecstatic to see their experience climbing rapidly as they made their way forward.
Jaune cut his sword down on top of a Deathstalkers in his way, Ruby shot off targets on the roof and in between any open spaces between the two in front of her, Pyrrha stood beside Jaune and swung her blade out in tandem with Jaune’s movements, she was surprised to find out Jaune was working so well with the both of them.
It was like he had been doing this for years, he avoided Ruby’s gunfire without even needing warning and only targeted the ones Pyrrha wasn’t aiming for, their attacks blended together in almost a perfect dance.

Jaune took a quick look at his new stats and said, “It feels like a limiter has been removed in my body, is this how Nora feels all the time?”
Jaune’s Battle Power represented his total Battle Power, meaning it factored in Agility, Dexterity, Strenght, Endurance, and unique factors such as Semblances that are passive in nature, such as Ruby’s super or Pyrrha’s Ferrokinesis, but if he had to guess, Ruby’s distributions for her stats had to be really skewed, he was guessing that it must be 80% Agility, 10% Dexterity, 5% Strenght, 5% Endurance.
“By increasing Constitution it improves the body, and when the body is improved all the physical stats, Str, Agi, Dex, and End, are raised evenly.” Jaune continued to ponder how his stats worked, “The bonuses we get must distribute our Battle Power Stats evenly because I didn’t feel any of my parameters shift towards one spectrum, or maybe it’s different for everyone else, maybe, Ruby’s Agility improves faster than the rest of her stats.”
“Going off my own stats, a normal human must be around 5-10 in Battle Power, and a veteran hunter could be anywhere between 25 and 500,” Jaune shook at the System given to him, he discovered the Blessing he was given was far more powerful than originally thought. “Just what kind of Blessing did I receive?”

Just as Jaune was about to use his Level Token, Ruby, who had seen that there was light coming out from an opening in front of them, rushed ahead while shouting, “Oh, my gosh it’s beautiful!”
Jaune didn’t see any other tunnel other than the one they came through and shook his head, he then started to climb the walls, and as he did, Jaune spotted a white glimmering shard of Dust against the moss covered surface.
Jaune looked took the shard out and frowned, “Have any of you ever seen white dust before?”
“Ice dust is blue, I’ve heard there are exotic types of Dust such as Grey Gravity Dust, and Green Plant Dust, but I’ve never heard of White Dust before,” Ruby said scratching her head.
Jaune jumped back down and showed the shard to Ruby and Pyrrha, “It really is white, I wonder what kind of Dust it is,” Pyrrha looked at the Dust with great interest.
Jaune shook his head and thought of using his Inventory, after sending the item to Inventory, Jaune’s jaw dropped, “Moon Dust!”
Jaune looked up to where the surface of the crater was and quickly turned his head to the lake, jumping in the small body of water, Jaune quickly started to dig away at the thin layer of mud beneath his feet.
Curious to what Jaune was doing, Ruby was about to ask, but Jaune’s efforts suddenly revealed a large boulder-sized crystal of White Dust buried under the surface.
Jaune smiled as he placed his hand on the crystal and pulled into his inventory, the water around him quickly began draining, showing many other fragments lined in the hole they were standing in.
“This is an Impact Crater, one from a fragment of our moon!” Jaune said with his eyes gleaming, “This is Moon Dust!”
After hearing this, the two Huntresses dropped their jaws in amazement, “Wait, like from the moon, moon?” Ruby asked with a glow of excitement shining in her eyes.
Jaune started to laugh, “I just wish I could understand what it did,” pointing his finger on the item slot Jaune found himself surprised, an extra menu popped up showing the words, exchange, discard, and inspect.
Jaune pressed his finger down over the inspect buŧŧon and watched a 3d hologram of the item appeared showing what the Dust did, “Able to enhance the potency other Dust Elements, and if ingested it has a healing effect. Similar to my Aura Amplification ability, prolonged exposure from the Dust’s radiation causes a natural increase in Aura levels.”
Ruby and Pyrrha read the effects of the material and stood still wide-eyed, “A healing type Dust!? This really is a piece of the MOON!” Ruby shouted in surprise.
Jaune couldn’t believe it either, “To think a Dust deposit was so close to the school, Jaune looked at Pyrrha and thought of how she led them here last time, and then he thought of her Tittle, “+1 to Luck huh?” Jaune thought as he closely observed Pyrrha.
“Is there something on my face?” Pyrrha said as her cheeks turned red and started to get a little unnerved.
“Ahem! Jaune!” Ruby coughed making Jaune jump a little, “Sorry, It’s just, you found the tunnel right?” Jaune asked.
“Yes, when I searching for the ruins with Weiss,” Pyrrha said covering up her embarrassment.
“You really are the Goddess of Victory, if you had continued to follow this path you would have discovered this mine, I was wondering how you tittle worked, and this helped answer that question.” Jaune couldn’t help but think back to when they discovered it during his first life, “If only I was strong enough back then, then again, maybe it wouldn’t have mattered, it never occurred to me to check this place out again.”
“Oh, no, I don’t think I would have figured out that this was an impact crater, much less a Dust Deposit,” Pyrrha shook her hands in front of her face.
“Anyways, let’s call in the rest of the group, I think that we should mine everything here, with my storage, and Ruby’s speed, and everyone else manpower, we can clean this place out,” Jaune said as he pulled out his Scroll.
After calling up the group, he was asked by Yang, “Where are you guys?”
“Give me a minute,” Jaune said as he decided to climb up to the top of the hole and then looked down at the crater from the top of the treeline, as he looked out, Jaune noticed that from the ground to the air, the branches perfectly camouflaged the impact crater and made it seem like just another plain old part of the natural scenery.
Looking off to the distance, he could see the ruins where they had collected their chess pieces, he then thought about storing the trees in the area around the hole to notify them, as he held his Scroll up, Jaune showed Yang and the rest around her before saying, “See where the ruins are?” Jaune trailed the video call all the way back to his position and said, “Look for where the trees suddenly disappeared.”
Using his inventory, Jaune pulled in a few dozen trees into a single inventory slot, Jaune stood at the top of the only remaining tree that he climbed like a marker in a circular clearing.
While he was waiting for everyone to notice him, Jaune checked out if there were any other noticeable craters in the distance.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t find one, “Looks like this one was a stray fragment, the rest must have fallen from the horizon,” Jaune looked at the shape of the explosion, using the oval shape hole he could decern which direction the meteor was heading when made impact, “If there were more falling fragments, then they would have landed southeast from this location, or they could have fallen behind me, in a northwest direction.”
Jaune then saw his teammates running over in surprise, they knew Jaune’s Semblance could store items, but when they heard that it could store anything as long as it didn’t belong to anybody, they almost fell over.
“Do you think you could store an entire house in your inventory!?” Yang asked.
“I don’t think the size of the object matters, the inventory can take in any object, but I only have ninety-nine slots, and I don’t know if how many items can be placed in a single slot yet.” Jaune the walked over to the crater and heard Ruby shout, “Yang, we found a Dust Deposit from the moon!”
