‘Ugh…’

‘That morning Ryan woke up with a giant headache

pulsing at the core. He tried to open his eyes but the moment even a bit of light entered his pupils

he felt a sharp sting

forcing him to take it slow. He reached out to rub them a bit

getting used to the light when he felt some movement on his chest

dumbfounding him.’

‘His headache was messing with his perception but he was sure something heavy laid on top of him. Not only that

but he was also actually embracing it with his second arm as if a pillow.’

‘Ryan tried to inspect it

his mind still a bit cloudy from just waking up when he felt something soft with his hand. He squeezed it firmly and found it was like a softball covered with some type of fabric

reminding him of something.’

‘”A butt…?” He questioned confused

not knowing what a butt would do on top of him when it suddenly hit him

his body freezing in place as if paralyzed.’

‘Butts belonged to humans which meant

he was sleeping with another person!’

‘He forced his eyes open despite the pain and looked down

confirming his guess after seeing lush brown hair spilled all over his chest.’

rubbing his eyes to check if he was seeing right and it wasn’t a dream but the woman didn’t want to disappear no matter what he did. He tried checking who it was but her face was covered by her hair

intensifying his panic.’

trying to think of a different possibility but nothing came to his mind. He definitely didn’t go around in search of beauties to sleep with.’

canceling all of his worries. He didn’t care how she got there as she was the very person he wanted to see at that moment. His whole life was turning upside down but as long as she was there

he was fine.’

‘”You didn’t leave me…” Ryan muttered

feeling emotional for some reason.’

‘His hands were off the beauty’s body but knowing it was Rose

he embraced her tightly once again

finally feeling some peace in his mind. His headache that troubled him just before was gone already

replaced with a pleasing buzz.’

‘Ryan didn’t think that hugging his own girlfriend skin to skin would feel this good. Her body was so tender and smooth he wanted to kiss her all over.’

pinching his cheek. “You were supposed to call me yesterday when you come back yet you didn’t. I sneaked out from my home to check on you and I found you sleeping on the bed.”‘

‘Hearing that

Ryan still couldn’t recall anything but it made him think a bit.’

‘”How did we end up all naked then?” Ryan questioned before adding just in case

recalling how he almost killed Lisa. He didn’t want to repeat the same mistake with Rose.’

‘”Why was it the first thing you thought of…? Am I really the perverted one…?” Rose mumbled to herself

making him confused.’

this is serious. Did I drink your blood or not?” Ryan called out anxiously and tilted her head in search of any bite holes. He found nothing but love bites which made him sigh in relief.’

realizing something weird.’

we should be fine. We don’t need to live in hiding.”‘

‘Her words made him sad as he knew it wasn’t the case. Just like his grandma said

his Vampire Family wouldn’t let a lone vampire live on their own. They would have to leave soon.’

‘Ryan still didn’t understand everything as his grandma didn’t tell him much but Rose deserved to know.’

” Ryan delayed. “It might be your parents who discovered you are away.”‘

passing the phone to her. The caller turned out to be her mom

which proved his point.’

” Rose agreed reluctantly

wanting to walk away but Ryan held her firmly

smiling playfully.’

‘His intentions were obvious to see. Having little time

Rose didn’t argue and only ordered sternly

“Don’t talk. I will handle this.”‘

‘Ryan zipped his mouth shut and threw the key away

showing he will be quiet.’
