S-Class Dungeon’s Mistress - Chapter 123
Lupinus struggled and thought of Lisianthus and Caladium in his mind. It really worked. What was heating up quickly cooled down.
He sat on the sofa and waited for Adelaide to appear. But thirty minutes passed then an hour, and there was still no sign of her coming out. When he checked for her presence to confirm if she was sleeping, he felt her awake.
But strangely, everyone in the dungeon seemed accustomed to seeing Adelaide locked up in her room. Bell came with his walking leash in his mouth, and when he saw that her door was closed, he returned with a sad face. If it had been the usual, he would have opened the door right away, ran in, and acted cutely.
“Peter, do you know what Adela is doing in the room?”
Just in case, Lupinus caught the Durahans passing by and asked a question.
“Oh, you mean that. We don’t know much about it either.”
“Yes. It’s always been that way since Abaddon or some devil came. It seems like she’s doing something in her room alone every day, but when we ask her, she doesn’t tell us.”
“The manager seems to know something, though. Sometimes they go in together.”
“So I’m thinking she’s just killing time.”
The Durahans explained in turn.
At their words, Lupinus’ curiosity deepened. He focused a little more and looked at her energy. Looking closely, he could feel Adelaide’s magic swaying about.
‘Are you practicing your powers by yourself?’
She was the one who had vowed to be strong so she must have meant it.
Lupinus lay down on the sofa with an impatient face. I’m sorry, but I can’t help it. He closed his eyes and took a short nap.
It was late at night when Adelaide’s door opened again. She walked out slowly, more tired than before.
Lisianthus and Lupinus were seated in the living room. Lupin continued to lie on the sofa as he had been in the daytime, and as soon as Lisianthus felt Adelaide’s presence, he rushed out and pretended to have been waiting for her ever since.
“What are you two up to? Why aren’t you sleeping yet?”
“We were talking for a while.”
Lisianthus blatantly lied. Adelaide, ignorant of the truth, thought that they had gotten to know each other a little more.
“Ugh, my body’s stiff.”
She frowned and turned her neck left and right. Then, in an instant, Lisianthus’s golden eyes flashed a different gleam.
Oops. Adelaide realized how dangerous what she had just said was. She was sure that the kind manager would offer to give her a massage. Instead of relaxing her body, he would give her a massage that would overwhelm her.
“Then I-”
Not surprisingly, Lisianthus opened his mouth, smiling like a fox. Adelaide hurriedly cut off his words, because if she had listened to it all the way to the end, she might have let it pass without realizing it.
“I just need to take a bath and go to bed right away!”
Looking at the view of her back as she moved away, Lisianthus clicked his tongue in disappointment. I can’t do it with a massage anymore. As soon as he thought of that, he immediately began to plan another method.
Meanwhile, Lupin followed Adelaide’s back to the bathroom. When Adelaide looked behind her, Lupin was there looking like he wanted something from her. He spoke with a pure and innocent smile.
“Aren’t you going to sleep, Lupin? If you want to grow taller, you have to go to bed early.”
Adelaide playfully reiterated the words she had told him in the past in Mediar. Despite the light joke, Lupinus smiled as if it was funny. It was because he was also trying to bring up a story of the past.
“Adela.”
“Yes?”
“I’m now taller, see?”
It was such a natural thing to say. Lupinus was so tall she wondered if he was human. He was more than a head taller than Adelaide.
She furrowed her eyebrows, wondering if he was making fun of her for being small. But the moment she noticed his pretty smile, she sensed a lustful aura hidden underneath.
“Let’s take a bath together.”
“You promised, right?” He whispered softly through Adelaide’s hair.
There it is! Adelaide stared at Lupinus with a gaze that said she knew this was how it was going to be. Lupinus maintained an innocent expression as if there was nothing wrong.
Just as she was about to open her mouth, his hair began to change to a brilliant golden color.
“Adela, shall we go?”
Lupinus smiled and suggested. Adelaide, who was about to nod her head involuntarily, worried that his aura might have been unstable. She felt like she had been hit in the back of the head.
The sudden change in appearance was all according to Lupinus’ plan. He knew she was weak against his blonde hair, so he changed quickly. The brazen look on his face made it clear.
But a promise is a promise. Since it was Lupinus’ turn anyway, there’s no reason to refuse his request. Besides, to be honest, it’s so tempting because it perfectly matches my taste.
‘But…’
Adelaide slowly shifted her gaze away from him. The end of her gaze turned towards the room where Caladium was.
She didn’t know why she was even looking for him. She must have been bothered because she knew that Caladium wasn’t in good shape yet here she was, still trying to have fun by herself.
To be frank, regular absorption was not meant to be enjoyable, it was an essential act for survival. Even though she knew that, she was strangely not comfortable at all.
“Caladium went out when you were in your room earlier.”
Lupinus read the direction Adelaide’s gaze was facing.
He left again? Adelaide had a gloomy expression on her face. He was going through a difficult time alone and she wanted to do something for him, but she was sad that she had no way.
While she was feeling bitter for a while, Lupinus suddenly grabbed her cheeks and turned her face towards him. Her eyes widened in surprise, seeing him frowning.
A low voice continued.
“Stop thinking about other people, okay?”
“It’s not that I’m jealous.” He added coldly.
The embarrassed Adelaide pouted her lips shaped like a crucian carp.
“I guf if, sho wef go of me.”
She couldn’t pronounce it properly because her face was pressed on both sides. She wanted to say that she gets it so to let go. Lupin asked, tilting his head.
“What are you saying?”
“I shed, wef go!”
“You want a kiss?”
“I don’t understand at all.” He softly bent his eyes and whispered.
How could he misunderstand “want a kiss” from “let go” when it sounds so different? Adelaide clicked her tongue.
If he really didn’t understand, he just had to remove his hand and he would. Lupinus still pressed her cheeks tightly and waited. He seemed to express his grumpiness in this way.
Adelaide looked up at him, scrunching her eyebrows, and reluctantly told him what he wanted.
“… Wef go sake a baf.”
“Okay, let’s go.”
Let’s go take a bath. As if he had been waiting for these words, Lupinus let go of her cheeks. As expected, he was lying that he couldn’t understand.
In case Adelaide would change her mind, he led her quickly towards the bathroom. Adelaide glanced back at Lisianthus as she was dragged along. She then waved her hand to signify that she was fine.
His expression could not be seen well due to his distance from her, but Lisianthus seemed to have gone to his room after bowing lightly to her. The bathroom door was closed, so she didn’t see what happened next.
“Where should we do it? Private or public?”
“It would be nice to take a bath in the public large communal bath after a long time.”
Adelaide suggested half-caught in his arms. Then, Lupin teased her with a soft voice.
“In public, huh. You’re pretty daring, Adela.”
“What are you talking about, you per***t!”
“I’m kidding.”
Lupinus pretended to be hurt when Adelaide slapped him. She shook her head and then turned around and pulled away out of Lupin’s arms.
“Then, see you in the public bath!”
She quickly turned towards the changing room. Although they had already made contact beyond kissing, she was still not confident enough to undress in front of Lupinus. Lucky for her, Lupinus decided to let it slide so she was spared.
When Adelaide arrived at the changing room, she took off the dress she was wearing and tied her hair up roughly. She then took out one of the large towels that were stacked on top of each other and wrapped it around her body. It had a loop so that she could wear it like a dress, and it was also quite thick so she wore it often when taking a bath in the large communal bath.
She looked in the mirror and saw she was well covered from her chest to the top of her thighs. Her collarbones were a little exposed, but that was not much of a concern for her. When she went to a job interview in the Boraca dungeon, she wore racier clothes than this.
After adjusting her outfit, a cool night breeze blew softly and tickled the nape of her neck as she went out through the door leading to the large communal bath. It was an artificial environment set up with magic stones. When she closed her eyes, it was so similar that she couldn’t tell the difference from the real thing. No, it was more convenient to be able to control the weather at will, unlike reality.
Adelaide walked the stone path step by step. Soon, an outdoor large communal bath with a calm atmosphere appeared.
Lupinus had already entered the bath and was waiting for her. He pulled back his wet blonde hair under the soft moonlight and his appearance was so beautiful and sensual that it was enough to make one gasp.
Like Adelaide, a towel was wrapped around him with his upper body revealed proudly. The half-n*de Lupinus looked so good. He had broad shoulders, a sculpted chest, and a moderately slender waist.
Adelaide gulped involuntarily as she watched the water drip from his hair down his sturdy muscles. That strong man was the cute little Lupinus in the past. She still couldn’t believe it.
Their eyes soon met. A mischievous smile crept over his captivating face.
“How is it? Should I do another pose?”
He knew she had been sneaking a peek at him since earlier. He turned around and showed off his dizzying side profile as if he were a model. His a** looked thick from the side. Adelaide instinctively admired it.
“Look to your heart’s content. It’s a body made for you after all.”
“Whew, I could have never imagined a cute baby becoming this slick. Time sure flies by fast.”
“I said that because you’ve been looking at me.”
“Uhuh. I can’t lie. Lupin, your body looks great. I can’t take my eyes off you.”
Adelaide grinned and stepped into the bath. Lupinus burst into laughter at her candid remarks. He never really worked out for aesthetic purposes but it made him feel better because she liked it.
