Sage’s Cultivation: Mage in Cultivation World - Chapter 159
Lucas stopped his concentration and pushed his consciousness back to the surface. He then opened his eyes with an uncertain expression and stood up. However, deep inside his mind, he was contemplating what he should do with the current problem.
It is not a case of authenticity. Even if it was a fake or another scheme, he should not be complacent. Furthermore, he does not always believe what his second and third brothers say. He knew them so well that he could read them thoroughly with such ease.
Even still, this case isn’t one that he could underestimate. Even with how much he thought of it as small, he couldn’t be nonchalant about it as warnings had every reason for its existence.
But why did he want to prepare for it in the first place? Well, it was only because of the evidence that his Third Brother gave that matched with every description he knew.
While the competition was ongoing, Lucas went to Wilford’s room and gave him his verdict on what he would do.
“Wilford, I won’t be participating as a special competitor for the competition anymore.”
When Lucas said it, Wilford stood up from his seat abruptly due to his surprise. But then, Lucas explained it to him slowly enough that it could give him complacency.
“I am still in a state where I could die at any moment or collapse. However, it doesn’t mean that I have no words. What I promised to you will still happen.”
Lucas closed his eyes and then sent a telepathic message to Ureff and Ellisa. And after a few seconds, they answered him and appeared at his side.
Wilford became alarmed by the sudden appearance of the two, but when he saw how respectful they were to Lucas, he eventually calmed down.
“Ureff, Ellisa, is it possible to give the participants of Profound Symbol a boost in their bodies?” he asked.
At first, the two of them were confused about what Lucas wanted to say. But without any questions, as they felt tense in the atmosphere, they answered him.
“It would be possible for me, Master,” Ureff said. “I can boost the flow of their blood and nurture their performance for a few folds. However, it would only remain for a few days.”
Lucas nodded.
“Good. You should do it. How about you, Ellisa? ”
“I don’t know, Master. But I think I can give them some paths to raise their success rate in their battles.”
Lucas looked at Ellisa and shook his head. “Don’t do it. Instead, remove their impurities, or help them with their cultivation. Would it be possible?” Lucas asked.
Clueless, Ellisa merely nodded. But as to how piqued her curiosity was, she eventually asked.
“What seems to be the problem, Master? Why are you ordering us such things?”
“It is because I won’t be entering the competition anymore.” Lucas continued explaining until he said that he would go back to his cultivation.
“I am not capable of being nonchalant. Another personality appeared, and I should focus on handling it.”
Ureff and Ellisa were surprised, but Wilford was just perplexed, as he didn’t know anything about Lucas’s condition.
“I see… If that’s the case, I will do it, Master.” Lucas thanked Ellisa and then looked at Wilford, who was flustered.
“Without my help, these two will help the sect win the competition. You don’t need to know who they are. And if you are curious, just ask them if they want to show their real identities. But it isn’t what’s important now. I will leave for another year until I come back to the Profound Symbol.”
Wilford was just speechless, but as he thinks about it, he doesn’t know what to say. Should he pry into his master’s business or not.
It is obvious that Wilford trusts Lucas.
“I understand, Master. I will abide by your words.”

“You only have a year to strengthen. As you further expand your dantian and your dantian-core, your core unseals itself. When that happens, the God of Magic will have the easiest time awaking. ” Third Brother said.
“Does that mean you have already assessed him?” Lucas asked.
His Third Brother nodded.
With the information Lucas received, he knew what to be ready for.
Lucas decided to go back to the chain of memories with the Third Brother’s aide. And as he stood in a matterless place where his memories were playing in front of him, Second Brother’s voice loomed.
“Let’s make a deal.”
Lucas stopped in his place and just looked straight in one direction. He then narrowed his eyes and asked, “What kind of deal do you want to make?”
“It is a deal where all of the personalities are put into eternal peace.”
And just as he heard it, Lucas went silent as he didn’t know what to answer. It is impossible, as he knows that ego from abilities that create personalities isn’t as easy to eradicate. Erasing his personality is equal to erasing an existing ability, which is difficult to do.
“Why are you silent? Don’t you know how serious this matter is?”
“This is an important matter, but it is impossible to do. Just like in our Encanta, it is hard to read the majority of abilities’ existence. I have not seen a god that regulates the abilities every creature has and so, I cannot be sure what to do with this.”
“You still have a weak personality, even though you have already absorbed 10 personalities.”
“What is it about? It is normal since I am not in my original state. You know it well since you were once part of me.” Lucas retorted.
“I am still part of you, but only have a different consciousness. But let me get it straight. Why don’t you think of what could possibly happen? You have already achieved a highly regarded feat since you came here. Think of it. How will you put every personality at peace?”
Lucas was silent again. He embraced it and contemplated it. But when he remembered something he did in the Four Heavens, his eyes widened.
“That cultivation that focuses my mind. My Mind Cultivation that nourishes my Magique cultivation… You mean that?”
“Exactly!” Second Brother’s voice loomed.
“I must list down all of the personalities I knew existed,” Lucas mumbled.
“But before that, you must know what abilities are inside of your sealed cores. In that way, you will know how to manipulate the threads that could influence the God of Magic’s strength.”
“Indeed,” Lucas muttered, then contemplated once again. He went to one of his memories and watched it.
It was a memory of him that is part of his memories of Encanta. And as he watched it, he could only see himself firing some magic made of fire and water.
Two different attributes that could not be complemented… Yet, he has been executing it as if they were twins from birth.
Lucas took a deep breath and disappeared, disappearing back into the surface, back into his consciousness.

Within the blink of an eye, Lucas went back to the Profound Symbol. He appeared in Wilford’s personal field, and there he put the portable paper and activated an array built with his magical runes.
After activating that array, he went to it and sat down in a meditative pose.
A light flashed when he closed his eyes, seeing himself in a white space where he could only see his irregularly shaped core.
It was still partially sealed, but only to a small extent. Hence, he can unseal it when his cultivation increases more. But, he doesn’t want that to happen too soon. He needed to check the remaining abilities in his core.
Lucas went to the core and then inspected it.
A few images flashed before him, showing the different images of his abilities.
“It is such a pity that I won’t be able to use you.”
What Lucas had sealed in this part were all the most important abilities and aptitudes. And as he eyed it, he could only let out a dismayed sigh.
“At least I can prepare for it.”
Lucas started listing down the abilities in his memory, and after a few fragments of time floating in a matterless white space, he finally had the list.
“Mind Abilities section has the remaining: Memory Incubator, Thoughtless Shield, Thoughtful Head…” And there he continued pronouncing the names of every one of his Mind abilities.
In total, the Mind abilities that remained in his partially sealed core were all for dominating purposes. They were abilities with the purpose of hijacking someone’s mind. However, it is not limited to that, as it has the potential to create artificial intelligence out of it.
If the God of Magic could have it, it is not impossible if he uses those abilities to create his own legion.
Next on his list were all Body abilities that give extraordinary potential to humans. However, they weren’t that much concerned as Body abilities have their own capacity for potential, which is difficult to utilize.
Furthermore, Lucas was certain that the God of Magic would be unable to obtain it because his personality is centered on the field of magic and small potential abilities aren’t ideal for him, who technically requires massive mana to use one ability.
Even still, he couldn’t be complacent with it. He still needed to look at it and inspect it to see if he could get these abilities.
And next was the Bone abilities, which were one of the prominent abilities for Lucas. However, the God of Magic would be unable to use this because his primary focus was supposed to be on magic spells.
Hence, all of the following abilities and aptitudes were hopeless for Lucas to have.
“Broad abilities with plenty of potential…” Lucas frustratedly mumbled to himself.
“Mind Control was already a problem, but here, they are all a pain in the ass.”
