Sage’s Cultivation: Mage in Cultivation World - Chapter 198
It took Yuna a long time to establish her reputation on the Eastern Continent. There were some of them that had already forgotten about her capabilities, but, after Yuna played them for fools, creating an unbreathable environment around her, everyone slowly accepted her back.
Even though their validation was not needed, Yuna still had to prove that all of the words against her would not bring them any benefit, but only punishment, as it is a crime to slander the queen of the dynasty.
Yuna had accepted the fact that she was already a queen and the commander-in-chief of the continental military, which was composed of soldiers from all of the regions in the Eastern Continent, excluding the Eastern Region.
“Hear me, subjects of the Xiao Dynasty. Today, we make a name for ourselves on the Eastern Continent, as our dynasty will put down all of those who cause unrest in our lands. We will stop this war, and victory shall be upon us.”
A great speech came from Yuna while she stood on top of a tall platform. Her declaration was so immense that everyone who listened to it shouted their war cry.
“Uraaahhh! Ahoooo! Putaaaaa!” Different war cries from different cultures filled the whole wide plain where the speech happened.
After three months of having the throne, Yuna discovered that there was something wrong with the previous five great families. The Gao family didn’t report their irresponsible towards the rebels in the Eastern Region. Hence, even though they had already disappeared, their crime was still not forgotten and there was a reward on their heads.
Furthermore, the Su family disbanded as they discovered that the patriarch of the family was a fake one, and the real patriarch was already dead. Even though the two mentioned patriarchs disappeared, it didn’t stop Yuna from pursuing them to punish them and take their lives.
“Remember the family names of Su and Gao! Anyone who claims that they were once members of one of the five great families should be arrested for questioning.”
Again, Yuna’s speech created a huge impact on her people. And as the speech continues, a ceremony was held with different families from different regions coming to pledge their loyalty to the Xiao Dynasty.
Each one of the families offered their rights to the Xiao Dynasty and acted as governors and mayors of their previous lands. Yuna also granted them power in the military, having a battalion on each land.
After such an event, Yuna, whom Lia deemed immature, slowly turned into a ruthless and effective leader. She was right after all. Lia did not suspect Yuna’s capabilities, as, after the training, Yuna had reached the True Sovereign Spirit Realm, which was just enough to reach the required cultivation base for the legacy.
But, there was a slight problem with this achievement. Yuna had to take over the whole Mortal Heaven within ten years so that she could be eligible for the legacy. After that, there were still plenty of ways she had to pass to become the ambassador.
“Here we call the elite soldiers, the Children of Taulo.” As Yuna announced the name of the soldiers, a few cultivators, ranging from thousands to thousands, started flying above with their flashy yet strong armors worn.
“You will defend the Western and Northern Region.”
The elite soldiers saluted and waited for Yuna’s reply. Yuna dismissed them all, and they all left the area in unison. After that, Yuna continued to call the soldiers and their companies from their respective positions.
After a week, Yuna led the force against the rebels. Her ruthless methods were known across the Xiao Dynasty as she also performed incredible and extraordinary feats, being one of the strongest cultivators living in the Mortal Heaven.
Yuna specialized in spatial and swordplay. Every time she made a slash, a dark matter followed it, and it would burst her targets’ inner parts. Her slash was more painful than the other methods since she wouldn’t easily kill them with one attack. She attacked the lower body and went to the heads to finish her killing.
At the center of the battlefield, flying above them, she let out a sigh as another problem emerged. The mysterious land in the eastern part, which they still haven’t managed to tackle because of the rebels.
But, since the rebels were almost done, Yuna saved some time in her schedule to visit the eastern part of the Eastern Region.
“The rebels are gone now!” Yuna yelled as the last rebel went down.
Every soldier stopped what they were doing and blankly looked around. They had no present enemies anymore, and before they could register what happened, they celebrated, still preoccupied with the war.
Smiles appeared on their faces. Yuna also descended and joined the celebration. Until the last day of the week-long celebration, another predicament was reported.
Yuna hadn’t had any rest since the beginning of her regime, but she was not tired. Even if she didn’t sleep, she still had plenty of energy to use.
“What was it?” Yuna asked as Lia was in front of him.
“We saw the mysterious person. He was flying above a war between the remnants of the Ming Faction and his men. We suspect that the MIng Faction inadvertently evacuated in the wrong direction.”
“This mysterious person. I am really curious about him. He suddenly appeared, as what you said, but his methods were so unorthodox that they even made you confused, right?” Yuna stated.
Lia let out a sigh. “I made a mistake in leaving the Eastern Region unattended because they were just rebels. But, I was wrong since another enemy had appeared.”
“We still don’t know if he is an enemy or not. Even so, we will still continue to catch him since he is a criminal in accordance with our law.”
“Yes, your majesty. We will surely capture this person and punishment shall fall on him.”
Even though they were still confused, they didn’t feel much threatened by this person, as she knew that it would be easy since she was already at the top of her condition.
After the preparation for the next war, recapturing the lands in the eastern part, Yuna was paused before the movement to their destination. Apparently, Yuna had just felt a familiar presence.
“Brother Lucas…?” she pondered, but afterward, disregarded it. “Brother Lukros.”
Yuna went on her way in the direction where she felt the presence was coming from. She flew over different trees and rivers and stopped at one mountain peak. It was the source of Lukros’s presence.
“Brother Lukros,” Yuna called him, but no one answered. She smiled slightly and continued to fly more, but, as she felt another presence, different from Lukros, she was forced to stop.
“Wait… Why can I feel a different aura and slightly the same with Brother Lucas?” Yuna continued to ponder and didn’t continue to pursue Lukros’s location. But, as on the other hand, Lukros noticed her presence, Lukros had the initiative to approach her.
“Sister Yuna? Is that you?” Lukros called out in disbelief as he noticed something was different from Yuna.
Yuna smiled. “Yes, Brother Lukros. I was surprised to feel you nearby. How was life?” Yuna asked.
Lukros smirked and shrugged his shoulders. “Well, I could say that it was pretty amazing. I finally now understand humans in this world.”
“Oh… right. But, may I ask, do you know where Brother Lucas is? ”
Lukros suddenly took a pause, and his face turned tight after it. He didn’t answer for a few seconds, then afterward, he put on a fake smile. “Well, I don’t know. But, I am looking for him with my other siblings. I may not be able to introduce them to you, but we are waiting for our other siblings. So, yeah… I am very sorry that I can’t help you, Sister Yuna.”
Yuna scoffed and shook her hands in the air. “You don’t have to worry about it, Brother Lukros. I was only asking since it had been years since I saw him. Was everything okay for him? What do you think?”
Lukros remained preoccupied and tight. He continued on having a fake smile and would just shrug it off. “Well, I guess it was okay since Master is always great with his life.”
“Hmmm… Well then, thank you for talking with me and also, it was nice meeting you again, Brother Lukros.” Lukros smiled and then waved his hands at him.
“Likewise, Sister Yuna, it was nice meeting you.”
Yuna nodded and then left Lukros, and along the way, reservations were inside her head. ‘It feels like Brother Lukros was hiding something. But, out of respect for him and his siblings, I shouldn’t go any further. They are friends, and I cannot afford to make them enemies because they are knowledgeable in mystical arts.. It would be a hard life defending against them.’
