Sage’s Cultivation: Mage in Cultivation World - Chapter 201
A huge lizard-looking creature with huge bone-structured wings, flying at just the same level as she. Its scales were blue, and its eyes were filled with various expressions of terrorizing aura. And just as this entity and the other were flying in front of her, Lia could only remain steady and dumbfounded.
Another one was a huge bird covered with wings, a phoenix. The other one was a human, but he had pale skin and strange red garments. Another one was a skeleton, wearing armor and riding a ghost-like horse.
And as their strange appearance continued, Lia’s eyes fell on the remaining three entities.
One was a severely rotting human body, wearing a helmet with horns, and a huge eye, but behind were small wings, giving it the ability to fly, and the last one was a ghost human figure.
“You might be confused and surprised at our appearance, but this will be the only way to use our full potential. But, I think you should move to the side, Miss Lia Xiao.” Lukros politely said with his huge dragon mouth.
Instead of answering him, Lia furrowed her eyebrows and asked, “What are you? Are you a magical beast? Divine beasts? What kind of creature are you?!”
“She must be tense, Brother Lukros. How about we explain to her what is happening.”
The huge blue dragon faced Ellisa, who was currently a phoenix, and retorted, “I already explained it to her.”
“Well, she needed a more elaborate explanation,” Ureff said, with a calm face.
Lia could feel their extraordinary auras, making her vigilant at all times. And just as she watched them converse with each other, she secretly cast a technique, hidden behind her back.
“If I were you, I would stop doing that.” Suddenly, the eye creature spoke, despite not having a mouth. The creature was looking at Lia with its whole appearance changing as if narrowing to look at her intently.
Everyone shifted their attention to Lia. Ellisa then said, “Yep, I can feel your Qi behind your back, Lia Xia. Stop doing that. Brother Quatro can see anything, even behind your back.”
Lia was surprised. She then slowly followed what they suggested and canceled her casting. She still looked vigilant, but as she noticed what Ellisa said, she talked with a rushed expression.
“You said that that monster could see anything. Then, tell me what is happening inside that sphere.” Lia looked rushed, but as her tone sounded authoritative, Quatro showed an appearance of closed eyes.
Ellisa noticed it. “Don’t speak to us as if we are equal to you, Lia. We humbly came here. Even if you have authorities, we won’t listen to you.”
Lia’s eyebrow furrowed after what Ellisa said, and being preoccupied with the situation, she couldn’t help but be aggressive towards her. “Can’t you see what is happening? There is a huge sphere in the sky, threatening the whole land. Even if magical beasts or divine beasts are supposed to be indulging themselves in human activities, isn’t that sphere a threat?”
The skeleton riding a ghost-like horse chuckled out of nowhere. “It is not that we are not concerned, madam. However, this situation is out of your control. And it means that whatever we do against it, you are not in a position to order us.”
“Calm down, Fukra.”
Lia shut her mouth and glared.
‘Fucking beasts.’ She thought and then retorted, “Then please, can you check what is happening inside?”
Quatro remained silent and looked at others with a boring appearance. But, as Ellisa and Lukros nodded, he used his abilities.
“Quatro, just make sure that you also check the vital points of the dimensional protection,” Fukra said.
“Yes, you don’t have to worry,” Quatro said and continued doing what he was supposed to do. His appearance changed, and his whole appearance lit up red and blue, changing every second.
Pilitro, the Viking Ghoul who had a rotting human body, said, “Oh boy… We are working together to save Master. I am excited.”
“Ho… Ho… Ho…” Michael, the ghost, uttered a weird sound.
When Lia heard what they were talking about, her eyes went back furrowing. She then darted an eye at them and furiously asked, “What do you mean, ‘Master’?”
Ellisa moved forward and blocked Lia’s field of vision as she noticed that her temper was getting high. And as Ellisa was only acting as a precaution, she said, “Master Lucas was our master. And what about it?”
Lia became silent and surprised by it. “What do you mean he was your master…? And you even dare to say that you are going to save Lucas when he was the one who did this!”
Suddenly, the air pressure started rampaging, with Lia becoming angry at the situation. Ellisa noticed that Lia must be worried about the person inside or the possible result. That was why, before his sibling could even react to it, she handled Lia’s anger.
Ellisa started drawing magic circles in the area and started absorbing Lia’s output energy. And just as the pressure started going down, Lia was discombobulated. She reacted hysterically and moved backward from Ellisa.
“Fucking bird! What are you doing to me?”
“I am making you calm. Master needs our help, and he is not sane. That is why we are going to save him. Tell me, why are you reacting aggressively?”
Lia had an aggressive personality sometimes, and she didn’t like being trampled, even in a soft way. But as for how Ellisa was affecting her control of herself, she couldn’t help but be calm.
‘What is going on with me?’ Lia wondered as she looked at Ellisa, starting to transform into a sweet-looking lady.
“Tell me,” Ellisa said again.
Lia lowered her head and answered slowly to Ellisa’s request. “Inside that sphere is Yuna. She is being trapped by Lucas’s mystical art after Yuna attacked her because of his crimes.”
Ellisa gulped. “Crime… I see… So he killed plenty of people.”
Meanwhile, as Quatro was starting to see through the black sphere, Lukros faced him with a prepared question. “What is happening inside?”
Quatro’s appearance seemed to be confused and worried at the same time. And as he answered Lukros’s question, he came to a halt in his assessment of the black sphere. “I think we should destroy the protection first. I could already see through the vital points of it, but I couldn’t continue to see what was happening inside.”
“Why?” Ureff asked.
“It is because the flow of energy inside was harsh. I couldn’t overpower the control of the mana, making a thick clouded barrier inside.”
Ureff had a deep thought and discerned what Quatro said. And as an idea popped inside his head, he smiled. “What about we try to hijack the control? Lukros, you still know alchemy, right? Even though I know that you are making your path as a swordsman in human form, I still want to ask if you could use your alchemy skills at this time.”
Lukros made a deep sigh and nodded. “Okay… I will use my alchemy, but I will need some help from you, Ellisa.”
Ellisa stopped talking with Lia and then jumped into their conversation. “Okay, I will go with your plans! Just finish it immediately since we don’t know what might happen to Yuna.”
“Sister Yuna? She is inside?” Lukros asked.
“Yeah, and Master Lucas has pulled off this damaging stunt. I think we should immediately commence our plan.”
Fukra said, “Let’s go. I will help you destroy the dimensional protection. I still knew about magical spells when I was still a lich.”
“Let’s go. I will teach you where the vital points are.” Quatro said, and he moved upward, approaching the huge black sphere.
Lukros, Michael, Ureff, Ellisa, and Fukra followed Quatro’s guide into destroying the dimensional sphere. And as they started moving, only Pilitro was left, which made Lia curious.
“Why are you not helping them?”
Pilitro faced her, moving his rotting face and answering. “Well, it is because most of my abilities are physical attributes, so I cannot help them that much.”
Lia nodded and looked at the blackening sky where the six strange entities were starting to form formation. And just as they started talking with each other again, a grandiose different color of light appeared, encircling the whole huge black sphere.
Lia’s eyes could see the majestic appearance of their spell, eventually being captivated by their action.
“What are you? How can you do such incredible feats? And where did you come from?” Lia mumbled in confusion, waiting for Pilitro to answer.
“Well, I cannot answer you directly, but maybe with the others’ permission, I will tell you.”
Lia gulped down and watched the entire procedure.. And as time passed by, the black sphere started to turn blue, which made Lia agape as they moved into the second phase of their procedure.
