Saiyan System In The Immortal World - Chapter 6
[System shop opening…]
[Weapons]
[Techniques]
[Auxiliary Items]
[As host does not have enough qualifications yet, other parts of the menu are locked.]
‘Hmm, I won’t need weapons for now so let’s check the techniques section. System, open the techniques please.’
[Techniques]
[Kaio-Ken technique: Costs 15,000 system currency]
[Sky Dance technique: Costs 12,500 system currency]
[Crane Style Martial Arts: Costs 10,000 system currency]
‘I will definitely need to exchange {Kaio-Ken} and the {Sky Dance} techniques as they are both essentials. The only notable thing in the Crane Style Martial Arts might be the {Dodon Ray}, but I can’t even do a simple {Ki Blast}, so I wouldn’t worry about it in the near future. The selection is not enough, it might also be because I don’t have enough qualifications yet deemed by the system.’
Looking through the techniques menu, Caol sorted and started figuring out his future plan. ‘System, open the quest board for me.’

Upon seeing the selection of quests, Caol re-arranged his plan for his future training. The quests and its rewards will greatly impact his strength and his ability to keep himself among the forefront of practitioners, both of the martial and immortal paths.
Hesitating no longer, Caol started a training schedule for every day to progress rapidly. He started mornings by jogging through the hills nearby. Using his gravity bracelet, he modified it to x5 gravity and had it on for every thing he does. This made the training a lot harder, for a 4 year old child, even if he was a Saiyan. After the morning jogs were his push-ups, sit-ups, and pull-ups. Under the influence of x5 gravity, he can only do less than what he did for his first quest.
Nevertheless, Caol had a mind of determination. He was given another chance at living and will not waste it this time. Every afternoons, he will read the Kame Style Martial Arts book. It started with different kinds of stretching to prevent damaging the body’s muscles. Next was the {Ki Sense}.
In this world brimming with different types of qi, creatures had an easier time of sensing it. This was a new experience for Caol. It wasn’t before he tried for 4 days when he sensed qi for the first time. Caol, being so excited, told Granny Yu, to which she was surprised as 4 days was a really short time to sense qi. She knew that a certain prince from a very prestigious and powerful empire, rivalling an immortal school’s power managed to sense qi in 2 weeks. This became an empire-wide celebration, dubbing him the “Heaven’s Child” and proclaiming him the Crown Prince, yet here came a boy who did it shorter than him.
“You did a really good job Caol, sensing qi is your first step to becoming a martial expert. Now, what you have to do it channel the qi around you and make it your own.” Caol nodded and was happy, being praised by Granny Yu.
After Caol’s breakthrough, he practiced different kinds of martial art utilization from the Kame Style Martial Arts book.
‘I thought doing a punch was simple, I didn’t know there were a lot of things happening by just throwing a single punch. Getting power from the ground through the lower body, twisting the hips, letting the power course through and release it from your fist. I just wished I did martial arts on Earth, so I wouldn’t be having all these troubles now.’
Every night, Granny Yu would explain the profound meanings of qi and its utilization to Caol. It was a lot to handle for a single day. Good thing Granny Yu provided Restoration pills that shortened the amount of time Caol had to rest.
Days became weeks, and weeks became months. Under the high intensity training of Caol for almost a year, the progress was significant. He adjusted the gravity bracelet to x10 gravity six months ago. He also completed Quest 1 and got Nyoi-bo and the Flying Nimbus. At first he was hesitating on getting on the Flying Nimbus, as only those with a pure heart can get on it. Gritting his teeth, he jumped on it.
To his surprise, he was able to ride the Flying Nimbus and control it with his mind. ‘I knew it, I knew I had a pure heart, it was only Dylan that sent me those stuff for me to ‘unintentionally’ watch it.’ Caol became self-satisfied being able to ride the cloud.
[Due to some circumstances of the host, the system took it upon itself to re-program the Flying Nimbus to be able to accomodate the host without checking for the host’s purity.]
‘Damn you system, you just had to douse me in cold water. I wasn’t asking for what you did, and it would have been better for me to not know.’ Caol was fuming as his hatred for the system reached new heights. ‘System, open my menu.’
