- Chapter 475: Fifth World: Flaunting Their Love Like An Instagram couple
Machu pulled up a stiff smile at Shao Lan before the arc on his lips fell. “Fine,” he said as he waved his fan releasing three flying daggers in her direction. The three of them landed right in front of Zhao Huangzhi stopping her in her tracks. Her eyes widened in horror staring at those flying daggers.
In the next moment, she was being dragged by her hair out of the room but before Machu reached the door, Dai Yu suddenly said, “Are you afraid to do it in front of us because you think she would be Mingxia version 2.0?”
“No,” said Machu with a mobile expression. He had already lost face with Mingxia and didn’t want to lose face again, not in front of Dai Yu. He would go deaf from her taunts and mockery.
“Okay, then you don’t mind if we tag along,” she said taking Shao Lan’s hand as she followed after Machu. Shao Lan felt his face heat up blankly staring at his wrist that was wrapped by a warm delicate hand. If this wasn’t heaven then what else could it be?
Machu fought off the urge to roll his eyes as he tossed the battered Zhao Huangzhi on the ground. Dai Yu wanted them to sit down but there was only one tree stump so she urged Shao Lan to sit down before brazenly sitting on his lap.
With zero diffedence she said, “Begin,” while cosying up against the man’s manhood. Shao Lan gulped with his Adam’s apple bobbing up and down ogling at Dai Yu.
While Machu was dealing with this typical Instagram couple that likes to flaunt their happiness to everyone, Qie Ranzhe’s gaze finally parted from Zhao Zhi. He placed his hand on top of Zhao Zhi’s hand that was patting Qie Xieling’s back as he said, “Lin Lin you are suffocating him.”
That is before he stood up to take care of Miyu Ren who looked like he had just been hit by a bus. He was curious why the demon king hadn’t retreated yet considering he had entered this room for a very long time.
What he didn’t know was that Miyu Ren was immobilized by Qie Xieling’s beam of light that accurately struck his acupuncture points. He couldn’t run even if he wanted to.
It seemed there was something special about Qie Xieling that none of them knew about. The only person who could possibly explain would be the queen but she wasn’t here to answer their questions. As the saying goes greatness plus greatness has a higher probability of producing double greatness which in this case is baby Lin Lin.
Miyu Ren let out a throaty chuckle with his hand on his abdomen. His movements made the blood on his mouth flow down his chin making him seem like a fragile beauty. Qie Ranzhe naturally didn’t have any kind of feelings for Miyu Ren so he simply unsheathed his sword as he drew closer.
“Mhm…. how interesting. I guess you win sect leader Qie. Well played *cough *cough,” he said before leaning down to spit out more blood. Miyu Ren seemed resigned to his fate ready to end it all. He had had a good run anyway. “Go ahead while you still can.”
These words had Qie Ranzhe furrowing his brows. His gut felt something was wrong and his gut never let him down. Just as he swung his sword to kill Miyu Ren, the demon king’s body was suddenly dragged to the side with a golden snake appearing on his body coiling around him.
A woman dressed in a white robe embroidered in gold appeared out of thin air and said, “Sect leader Qie,” cupping her hands. She smiled gracefully and carried on, “He is my meal ticket so I can’t let you kill him. I hope you can understand.”
Understand my foot. This brat of a demon king caused a lot of trouble, almost annihilated the mortal realm and the yao race so no he couldn’t understand. “I am sure you are well aware of the crimes he committed so how can I allow you to walk out of here with him fully intact?”
The gorgeous diety scoffed while nodding her head. “Yes, you will not only allow me to walk out of here with him but you will also help me wrap him up with a red bow for King Yama. Death is too simple for a trouble maker like him. The heavens have already compensated you with the heavenly rings and let’s not talk about the ribbons your son is illegally harbouring,” she explained before a sweet smile appeared on her face, “I am fairly certain you understand my meaning.”
“Hahaha…. *cough *cough *cough….. do you hear that Qie Ranzhe. I told you to take your shot befo-,” said Miyu Ren but he didn’t get to finish his statement because the woman smacked him out cold.
Qie Ranzhe clenched his fists rather upset but the woman seemed to disregard that. “You have received recognition from the heavens and will have a beautiful palace waiting for you when ascend. Maybe we will become good friends,” she said but Qie Ranzhe’s response was rather disappointing.
“Not interested,” he said before turning away from her.
She shrugged her shoulders and said, “The offer still stands if you change your mind,” before placing Miyu Ren on her shoulders. She disappeared immediately leaving no trace behind.
Qie Ranzhe’s expression softened when his gaze fell on his lover and son who were still locked in a tight embrace. Zhao Zhi had a help me expression on his face trying to separate from Qie Xieling but he wouldn’t let go. Qie Ranzhe felt an indescribable warmth spread across his chest as an involuntary smile crept up his face. He wanted this picture of happiness to last forever which is why he rejected the offer to ascend.
He could care less about ascending to becoming an immortal because his heart was right here with these two. What more could he want? His love was right here and that’s all that mattered.
Qie Ranzhe walked over and helped Zhao Zhi peel off the big baby which was incredibly difficult. Qie Xieling had just watched his dad get pierced with a sword so it made sense that he would be this clingy.
“You two are so mean. I still want to hug Shixiong. You can’t hug him because you have blood all over you,” he complained but it was pointless. He was outnumbered.
Qie Ranzhe pat his head and said, “How about you go and see what your uncle is doing so I can talk to your Shixiong?”
Qie Xieling didn’t want to go but judging from his father’s expression this wasn’t a negotiation. If he had known what his father was planning he would have stood his ground and refused to leave.
Like an obedient child, he walked over to the door but as soon as he turned back around both Zhao Zhi and Qie Ranzhe had vanished into thin air.
“Damn it!” he cursed kicking the door frame stubbing the same toe for the second time.
