Searching For You - 50 Retreat For The Nigh
Dao Xu heard a reply in a hoarse, trembling voice. “Th… The Prince just watched a video, I heard a female’s voice, an… and he smiled. What the hell was that? Do you know anything? I can’t wait for Butler Zeu to tell me later.” Long Kue paced around back and forth while he explained to Dao Txu.
“Oh… that… I was the one who sent him the video. So… wait, what? Did he smile? Damn it! I’ve never seen My Lord smile? What did his smile look like? Or what does he look like when he smiled?” Dao Txu sounded desperate. It was Dao Txu turn to shake in excitement and pace around in circles as he questioned Long Kue.
He finally stopped when another light bulb hit him. “Oh… I’m going to win this bet. Hehehe…” Dao Txu let out an evil laugh. If his Lord smiled, then that meant His Lord was indeed interested in Yu Sha.
“Hello? You still there?” Long Kue asked.
“Yep, here.”
“So according to what I know, there shouldn’t be any new woman encounter recently other than the new contractor. So… who is it? Yu Sha or Su Na?” He could pretty much deduce down to the potential women but since he had never met the two of them, he couldn’t pinpoint which one exactly.
“Guess?”
“You think I would ask you if I knew?” Long Kue shouted through the phone.
“You have a 50/50 chance.”
Well, there were many beautiful and talented women with class around and no one caught the prince’s attention. Long Kue felt that those women were already extraordinary, and the prince did not even spare them a glance, so could the woman who caught the prince’s attention be extra unordinary? “I haven’t met the two ladies, but one of the two must be extra unordinary huh?” Long Kue asked for confirmation.
“Hahaha… close enough. Your deduction skills are quite on point, Longy.”
Long Kue took a deep breath. “So who is it?” Even though he could deduce down, he had not met the two ladies and did not know what their personalities were like. He really couldn’t put down the name but if he must, he had seen Su Na do interviews in the past. She seemed pretty normal and extraordinary. So then that left Yu Sha to be the woman his lord was interested in? Even though Long Kue could kind of guess, still, he did not want to lock down a name without solid proof. It was his nature to always have solid proof before deciding on anything.
If Dao Txu was this persistent, maybe Dao Txu knew something that he didn’t know about their lord. He usually was the one that stood by his lord’s side while Dao Txu did undercover or investigate things far away. He hated to admit that he could be slow at reading human emotions sometimes. He remained silent as a sign of not wanting to bet with Dao Txu.
As the two shadow bodyguards were still debating about their bet, the group on the main deck headed back inside to their room for the night. When no one was left on the main deck, the two bodyguards left their post and made their way back to the VIP suite to report to their lord.
When they arrived, Long Kue and Butler Zeu were still around. Long Kue shot Dao Txu a look that only them to know what it was. Dao Txu shot a smirk back at Long Kue which annoyed him even more. “Tsk… bastard,” Long Kue muttered softly to himself.
“My Lord, everyone had a lovely meal with a lot of conversations and went back to their room for the night. What are your orders?” Dao Txu reported happily in a good mood.
Prince Hue Chi stood up from his office and replied, “Everyone retreat for the night.”
When they heard that they were released, the four men in the room got up and made their way out. Butler Zeu was the last one out. As soon as he shut the door close, the three young men were already standing on the side looking at him begging for an answer.
Butler Zeu acted like he didn’t know why they were staring at him. He purposely walked past them to his room across the hallway like they were invisible. When the men understood that Butler Zeu was avoiding them, the men quickly forced themselves inside the room before Butler Zeu could get the chance to close the door. He sighed, closed the door behind them and turned around to face the men. “What is it, young men?”
“Are you thinking of what I’m thinking of the two new ladies?” Dao Txu asked, curiously for another opinion.
Butler Zeu knew what he was referring to. He looked high and privileged. “Hmph, I’ve long known. I’ve been attacked by his smiles more than any of you.”
The three young men’s jaw dropped at the word Butler Zeu just spoke. Dao Txu pushed the two other men away when Butler Zeu confirmed his suspicion. “Whoa! My guess is right.” He turned around and around anxiously as excitement overtook him.
Long Kue shouted, “Hazel or silver?”
“Silver,” Butler replied.
Yu Sha had glittering silver eyes and Su Na had deep hazel eyes.
