Second Chance At The Apocalypse - Chapter 6 As Expected Of Him
The seven sits of sins.
A particular nickname well suited for the few strongest of humanity, representing a major military power on their respective base whose command was only second to the four sovereigns.
Zhao Cai side glanced at the hard working sweaty fatty who was putting all the stockpile inside his car.
Damn, this coward piggy was the captain of the central base?
The apocalypse really changes people!
While Zhao Cai was distracted processing this new information, the poor Meng Luoyang moved alone everything he could inside the car at the speed of light.
He felt dissatisfied, why did he had to move everything on his own!? Yet he didn’t dare say anything.
“Um.. Boss, it’s done.”
“Ah? Ah, right.” Zhao Cai didn’t even had the intention of helping anyway, he glanced at the future captain and showed him a kind smile. “Thanks Fatty Luo, from now on, you are under my wing.”
Those nonchalant words startled the fatty.
Who the hell wants to be under your wing! Meng Luoyang had the impulse of rejecting him but once he saw the dark emotionless eyes underneath his smile, he forcefully gulped back his words.
“Yes, thank you boss!”
Zhao Cai smiled humbly as he waved his hand. “Haha, don’t worry, don’t worry!” He gazed at the red moon and turned towards the fatty. “It’s getting late, let’s go.”
Meng Luoyang nodded and started the car while Zhao Cai coolly seated on the rear seat.
It was the picture of a young master and his chauffeur.
“Where to, boss?”
“…We need some weapons.” Zhao Cai was at a loss on where to find such. After all, the only weapons he had on his previous life, where the ones he took away from the people he killed…
Sigh, he was really silly! Never asking them where they got such nice gadgets.
“Weapons? Why would…”
When Fatty Luo drove, he was very cautious and alert, fearing something like the monster at the convenience store would pop out on the road, as such he got a clear look at the situation outside.
It was a complete disaster.
People screaming for their lives and zombies chasing after them. Blood splattering everywhere coupled with an enormous amount of traffic that headed to a single direction. Exit.
Meng Luoyang paled, shuddering at the sight. He thought they would be fine as long as they reached the police, but he was terribly mistaken.
Noticing Meng Luoyang aghast look, Zhao Cai reminded him. “That’s why.”
Even though Meng Luoyang will have someday the power to become the captain of an entire base, the evolution for metahumans was the slowest process of all, finishing on the third and final day of the red moon.
Fatty Luo bitterly nodded, then he suddenly told him. “Boss, I happen to know of a place who sells weapons.”
He recalled that close from his house, there was such a place.
Zhao Cai was elated, as expected of him, taking the fatass was the right decision!
“Let’s go!”
Turning towards a small alley, they separated from the main road and disappeared into the night.
