Second Chance: Raising A Yandere Demon Lord - Chapter 25
The prison guard’s eyes were widened due to horror, and his body continued to tremble. No words left his mouth.
“It really makes me annoyed when people doesn’t answer my question. I wanted to give an easy death, but you infuriated me now,” she spoke out, pulling the knife away from him.
Seeing the Prison Guard’s ashen face, a chuckle escaped from her mouth, and Odette could see how close to passing out he was.
“Imprison him in the chamber filled with the snakes the ones which are not poisonous. It would not be that fun if he dies easily. Make sure that he is naked. It would be pleasing if the snakes crawled on every part of his body,” Odette ordered.
Upon her words, a figure appeared amidst the shadows and bowed at her before saying, “I understand, Lady Odette.”
Hearing the punishment, the Prison Guard stared at Odette with eyes filled with loathe. Seeing that he will be dying any way, courage grew within him.
Taking out a piece of knife from his pocket, he instantly moved towards Odette with the intentions of hurting her. In his opinion, she was too cruel to him. After all, at the end, he was working mostly on their orders.
However, predicting that, Odette moved back, avoiding that cut. It would be too shameful for her to get injured by such a weak move.
The man from behind her grabbed on to the Prison Guard’s wrists and seized him. Even though the Guard struggled in his grip, it was of no use.
“Take him away from me. He is quite a disturbing sight,” Odette commanded.
The Prison Guard’s eyes were tinted red to the rage, and he began to curse profanities at her. However, Odette Albinius remained indifferent to them. She had heard worse in her last life, and therefore, it was not able to impress her.
The man placed his hand around the Prison’s Guards mouth and dragged him out from the cell upon Odette’s words. The fear which flashed against the man’s eyes before he walked away with the Prison Guard was noticed by Odette.
Odette then turned to look at the boy helplessly laying on the ground, and after taking a couple of steps towards him, she bent down to his height.
Staring upon his features, she extended his hand towards her and grabbed on to his face. His eyes were slightly open, and it seemed that he had not entirely lost his consciousness.
Odette was impressed by that. Even if the boy was very small, he was quite strong willed and had a lot of perseverance. She was truly a fool to not notice this in her last life.
“Y-You came,” he vocalised, “I-I k-knew y-you w-would s-save m-me.”
Adrian struggled to let those words out before he had finally lost his consciousness, and hearing his words caught Odette by shock. This was the first time someone had said such words to her while looking at her with this expression.
While laughter escaped from her mouth, she stated, “How pure can this boy be! Didn’t he hear what I ordered?”
