Second Chance: Raising A Yandere Demon Lord - Chapter 53
“Where were you the entire day?” Dennis questioned.
After the walk outside with Odette, Adrian found himself being at a joyful mood. Although the death of that man left him in a heavy mood for some moments, since he was only a kid, it took slight effort on Odette’s part to drive all of that away from his mind.
Once Adrian was done with the dinner, he skipped towards his room, and the wide smile on his face showed how he felt clearly. However, that was wiped off of his face when he felt someone grip on to his wrist and pull him backwards.
A gasp escaped from his mouth as his back hit the wall. While Dennis tightly held on to his wrist, he glared at Adrian his eyes clearly displaying anger.
Remaining oblivious to that, Adrian puffed his cheeks and said, “I am not saying you. You are a thief, and I hate thieves!”
The grip on Adrian’s hands tightened as Dennis spoke out, “You were not in the mansion the entire day. Could it be that you have gone out?! Did you sneak out!? Wow! You are really courageous!”
“I am not saying anything to you! You are a meanie! Lady Odette told me to keep all of this a secret!” Adrian exclaimed.
His words caught Dennis by surprise, and the boy’s eyes widened. Taking this to his advantage, Adrian raised his leg and kicked the male on his knee.
The impact of the kick caused the boy to stumble a few steps backwards, and his grip on Adrian’s hand loosened. Bending forward, he clutched on to his knee.
“You! I will be teaching you a lesson for this!” Dennis exclaimed.
“No matter what you do, Lady Odette will be protecting me, You Mean Bully!” Adrian retorted.
“Oh my! You are quite courageous to mention my name this causally.”
Hearing Odette’s voice took both of them by surprise. Dennis’ eyes fell on the figure that walked forward to stand behind Adrian and placed a hand on Adrian’s shoulder.
Turning his head backward, Adrian smiled at Odette and spoke out, “Lady Odette!”
“Shouldn’t you two be sleeping by now? I am not fond of my servants roaming around my mansion this late at night,” Odette expressed.
“I was about to go to bed, but the meanie Dennis stopped me in order to bully me. Then, I will be going now. Goodnight, Lady Odette,” the boy cheerfully said before walking towards his bedroom.
As Odette stared at Adrian’s distant back, she questioned, “Aren’t you leaving?”
“I am going. Lady Odette, did you allow Adrian to go outside?” Dennis asked.
“Are you questioning me right now? As far as I recall, you have done this previously as well. Aren’t you misunderstanding your position at here? I don’t mind teaching you,” Odette voiced out.
As Odette’s words, chill went down the male’s back, and he instantly bowed while he said, “No, please, look past this. I am sorry. Those words mistakenly slipped out of my mouth.”
“You better get your act together before I get angry, and to answer your question, I took him outside with me.”
