Second Chance: Raising A Yandere Demon Lord - Chapter 69
There was someone she deeply cared about back then. That person meant more to her than her own parents, and Odette wanted to escape this hell with that person.
But that’s when, she learned about how she was stuck in this place for her entire life in a hard way. The title Albinius and she was twisted in a way that could never be unraveled.
She was meant to be an Albinius, and there was no way for her to escape from this. Until the day she died, she will be remaining an Albinius and do what a member of this family does.
When the realization dawned upon her, she hated everything and everyone around her. It was to the point she detested herself for being born as an Albinius, and she wanted to destroy everything around her.
Although that led her to self-destruction in the beginning, after a period of time, due to her mother mostly, she was able to move on from it. That’s when, she learned that the only way she would be able to control her life was when she was at the top.
Those at the bottom were pathetic. The only thing they could do was try to be at the top. Unless they reached that position, their life was worthless. They would merely be puppets.
It was one’s fault for being weak.
This was why she never blamed Adrian for killing her and instead admired him. He was able to destroy the person who treated him like a trash while on the other hand, she remained too weak to that until the very end.
She was unable to kill the very person who turned her into this monster Damian Albinius.
Odette had no difficulty in admitting how pathetic she might have appeared in her father’s eyes. He noticed how she wanted to rise to the top and kill him in her last life, but no matter how much effort she put, until the very end, she remained unsuccessful.
A sadistic man like her father definitely derived joy from it.
But this time around, it will not be Adrian. She will be the person to kill Damian Albinius. After she succeeded in rising a position higher than Damian, she desired for Adrian to kill her.
“I can’t,” she answered, “This is my home after all.”
The expression on boy’s face turned downcast at that, and he lowered his gaze to look at the ground.
Then, after a deep thought, he voiced out, “Oh! Then, I guess I have to stay at here as well. After all, I want to be with you for my entire life.”
Hearing those words from the boy caused a chuckle to escape from her mouth, and she pointed out, “Those are some big words coming from a small boy like you.”
“Don’t tease me! I am not kidding! I really like you and want to stay with you forever.”
“Then, you have to promise me to never leave me. I might never talk to you if that happens.”
“I promise,” the boy answered, not knowing what he was getting himself into.
