Second Chance: Raising A Yandere Demon Lord - Chapter 72
Disgust was visible on Odette’s face as she stared at the man before her. He wasn’t the one spying on her. Judging from his condition, he was one of those perverts who lured kids.
Odette had no desire of entertaining such a lowlife!
Adrian, on the other hand, was oblivious to the dirty intentions the male had, and the corner of his lips curved to form a smile while he took a step forward.
“Uncle, it’s alright. We are not lost. Lady Odette knows the way out,” Adrian voiced out.
Instead of getting away after listening to Adrian’s words, he licked his lips and made his way over to the way. An amused smile formed on Odette’s face at the fool.
Extending his hand, the man was about to touch Adrian when Odette swiftly took out her dagger and pierced his fat arm with it. Blood flowed out of it immediately.
A sharp pain went through his hand, causing him to let out a groan, and angrily, the male turned to face Odette. His eyes glared at her while Odette had a sinister smile on her face.
“You are really brave to mess with those from the Albinius family,” Odette vocalised.
That’s when, the male’s eyes fell on the crest of the Albinius family on the dagger, and his eyes widened. He stumbled as he stepped backward, and while fear was visible in his eyes, he made a run from that place.
Seeing the man’s bravery, Odette had no intentions of letting him go today easily. Raising the dagger, she targeted it towards the male. A scream escaped from his mouth as the sharp blade pierced through his neck.
Within a couple of seconds, his body collapsed on the ground, creating a loud noise, and a gasp escaped from Adrian’s mouth. Blood pooled around the place he had fallen down.
Curious about the boy beside her, Odette turned to face him. This was the first time she had killed a person in front of the boy.
Adrian’s eyes had clear shock in them while they stared at the man, and his palms were around his mouth. His line of sight then shifted to Odette while his finger pointed at the dead body.
“Lady Odette, his body is not moving anymore,” the five year old stated, “What happened to the uncle? Your dagger just went through his neck.”
“It’s as you are thinking,” Odette vocalised, “I killed him.”
Her answer caused the boy to be shaken up.
Maybe this was too soon for her to do something like this in front of her, but thinking of how that man wanted to mess with her, Odette couldn’t stop herself.
She wondered where that man had gotten the audacity to attack and then try to escape without a word. That just made her blood boil.
Adrian took a step back and, with a hint of fear in his eyes, questioned, “Why would you do that, Lady Odette? You are not a bad guy. Only bad guys do that.”
Before she was able to reply that, a smell entered into her nose as she felt something pressed against her mouth. Without letting her to have a chance to fight back, she lost her consciousness.
