Secret Killer - Chapter 117
At first, Tania ignored that, but after getting touched a few times, she was sure that someone was molesting her.
Unfortunately, it was impossible to know who was touching her. The only thing Tania could do was endure and wait for her to stop. Of course, she wanted to scream, but that wouldn’t have helped her because there was no proof as to who was touching her.
Tania wanted to cry, but suddenly, she heard a familiar voice whispering in her ears.
“I thought you weren’t going to come,” the voice said.
After hearing that voice and knowing that it was the man she loved, Tania sighed in relief.
She leaned back on Leon and enjoyed the warmth of his embrace.
Leon continued touching Tania and felt her body.
Tania turned around to look at Leon and smiled after seeing his face.
“Even though we saw each other just yesterday, I feel so happy after meeting you today. I feel like I haven’t seen you in years…” She hugged Leon from the front and said, “I am sorry.”
“You better be,” Leon whispered into Tania’s ears. “Do you have any idea for how long I have been waiting for you?”
“I have had a horrible morning. If it weren’t for the hope of meeting you, I would have had a mental breakdown from all that shit happening with me…” she said in a disdainful tone.
“I called you here to fix my problem, but it seems that you are going through a lot too,” Leon muttered. “Is everything okay?”
Tania nodded and hugged Leon again.
“What are you doing here, though?” she asked in a muffled voice. “It is the complete opposite side from where you were supposed to be.”
“Well, I couldn’t sleep, so I was waiting at the location you sent since night. And—”
“Since night?!” Tania whispered violently. “It’s so cold outside! You should have come to my apartment to—”
Leon shut Tania up with a kiss and then said, “I don’t mean the entire night. I got there at 5 AM.”
Leon lied about that. In truth, he had been waiting since 3 AM.
“Still, that’s…” Tania sighed and muttered, “I am sorry for making you wait.”
“I waited for the clock to hit 6 AM, but even after that, you didn’t come,” Leon uttered with a sigh. “I thought maybe you missed the taxi or bus or something, so I waited for 1 minute before calling.”
After a brief pause, Leon said, “Then, I decided to call you, but you didn’t pick up. I called you again, but you still didn’t answer.”
“I did wake up on time, but I fell asleep in the bathtub,” Tania defended herself.
“I called you again and again, and with every attempt, I got worried. So I came to check up on you. But then I learned about the taxi protests. I decided to take the bus, but they were full as fuck,” Leon scoffed.
“So in the end, I had to take the train. But when I got off at the stop, I saw you getting on this train,” Leon asserted nonchalantly.
“And then you started molesting me…” Tania murmured.
“Molest you? I was simply touching you, though,” Leon sighed and said, “And I thought you would be able to recognize me by my touch.”
“How was I supposed to know it was you in a place where I least expected you? Besides, I was feeling so down, and my mind was occupied with something else.” Tania bit her lips and said, “Why did my morning have to start this way.”
“You recognized me by my voice, right?” Leon asked with a curious look on his face.
Tania nodded in response.
Leon raised his brows and asked, “Just curious, but what would you have done if I hadn’t spoken? Would you have let yourself get molested?”
Tania shook her head and whispered, “Don’t tell anyone, but I carry a gun with me for emergency cases. It’s made with special material so no machines can detect it. It also has a built-in silencer, so it doesn’t make any noise when I fire it.”
The train stopped, and Leon and Tania made their way to the location.
“Oh?” That piqued Leon’s interest. “So you would have shot me if I had continued to molest you?”
Tania shrugged her shoulders and said, “It would have been your fault, not going to lie.”
“Well, as much as I want you to shoot me, I need your help,” Leon said with a serious look on his face. “You know why I called you, right?”
Tania nodded and said, “You are unable to kill anyone, am I right?”
“Yeah. Like I want to kill, but my body doesn’t let me. It stops responding as though it doesn’t belong to me…” Leon furrowed his brows and muttered, “I don’t know why this is happening. It’s so annoying and ridiculous.”
“When did you realize you had this problem?”
“I called you as soon as I realized,” Leon responded in a raspy voice. “After I talked with you, I roamed the entire knight to find new prey to kill. I found them, chased after them, tacked them, but I couldn’t kill them because my hands weren’t moving according to my will.”
“That sounds more like something is wrong with your… well, brain or something. Like maybe it’s some psychological effect or something?” Tania wondered.
“That’s the only possibility I can think of. Because I couldn’t kill people even from a distance. Like pushing them off the building, throwing knives at them. My body just wouldn’t listen to me when I make an action with killing intent,” Leon uttered in a disdainful tone.
Tania raised her brows and asked, “So you want my help to cure you?”
“Yeah.”
“But isn’t it for the best? You are normal again. Maybe you can start your life as a new man?”
“No..” Leon frowned his face and uttered, “I have to get revenge from the people responsible for my pain and suffering.”
